When I got my stitch fix I had to send half of the clothes back and only ended up keeping 1 item. The jeans that I got, when I criss crossed, made a ripping sound, my dressed that I was sent were too short and the shirt that I did keep, is hand wash so it takes extra effort and within a week the stitches started coming out.
After applying to be a stylist and going through the interview process, I was offered the job with Stitch Fix. I received an email saying I should here back about a start date in a few weeks. About a month and a half went by with no response from the team. I decided to reach out asking when I should hear back about my start date. They replied stating that all the positions had been filled and they were resending my offer.
I believe this company is very unprofessional to one, resend a job offer and two, not notify me they were resending the offer until I reached out. Due to this unprofessional move they lost business. How can a business offer a job to an applicant and ask them to stand by while they get back knowing the offer would be resented. Horrible and unprofessional.
Stitch Fix has the slowest customer service ever. They take days to respond to emails, and returns/exchanges are slow and painful. I was given a gift card for my birthday and used it to buy a pair of jeans. Stitch Fix sent me the wrong size so I asked to exchange for the correct size -- however, they would only send me the correct size if I used a credit card to make a new charge. They wouldn't let me apply gift card credit to the exchange so instead, I opted for a refund so that I could get my gift card credit back. It's been over a week since the return arrived at their headquarters and I still haven't gotten my refund back. During that week, the last pair of jeans in my size sold out. If these guys didn't work at a snails pace, I would have gotten the size that I needed. STILL WAITING!
I loved the styles stitch fix sent and ended up loving some things that I have never tried on in a store. I did feel they listen to my likes and dislikes. However I discovered after a few washing the quality was so cheap. A $88. Pair of pants that the seams puckered up after the first washing. No I didnt use the dryer. Never wore them as I wash all items before wearing. $58. Shirt pilled up after 3 washings. $64. Sweater pilled up after 2 washings. I have 5 other items that have only been washed once so I dont know about them yet. I canceled after 3 shipments.
Bought pants for $70 and the seams came apart in wash. Won't replace or allow me to return. Don't waste your money or time
So many issues where to begin. No customer service number. Was planning to keep 2 of the 5 items, but before I sent the box out, one of the items I planned to keep, fell apart with in 2 hours. Wanted to return that item as well. There was no way to add that to the items I wanted to send back and no option to return it. Tried for a while to contact them and like a week later they charged my card for all the clothes even though it says you have 30 days to return items. Finally found a customer service number online and called. They made it so I was able to send back all 4 items and was credited my money back. They contacted me today, weeks after I returned the items claiming the never received one of them back and AGAIN, removed money from my account. All of the items were in the box I shipped back and they're claiming they weren't. I am BEYOND pissed off at this point. Honestly don't use StitchFix, I feel like they're just scamming people.
I got my first fix and I had misjudged my sizes. I asked if I could exchange for the next size down without getting charged until I decided what I was keeping and what I was sending back. They said yes. I ordered the exchanges. I got charged for everything. I chatted with customer service. They refunded me and said I'd still get the clothing and would not get charged until after I chose. Five hours later, they started hitting my bank account again, this time for one item at a time. They tried to tell me there had been a miscommunication and it couldn't be refunded. I made it clear I wasn't accepting that and reminded them I had screen shots of the previous conversation. Once again, I'm supposed to get refunded but I have to keep my eye on the account, as I'll get overdraft fees if the refund doesn't go through. This was on my first order! So I think this experience has told me all I need to know about Stitch Fix. Don't do it.
I just had a baby and wanted some nice tailored clothes that wouldn't make me look dumpy and disheveled. I told them I was a 39 year old mom and professor. They sent me clothes that weren't tailored and were suitable for either a 16 year old or a grandma.
After I sent feedback, they waived the styling fee and asked to try again. Thos box was even worse. Clothes were perfect for a clown.
I've tried Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, and let me tell you - Trunk Club is so much better in every way. The quality of Stitch Fix has gone down considerably, and you can tell the stylists just don't spend any time actually looking for items you would like. I've filled out the same amount of info on Trunk Club - so much better!
I tried Stitch Fix from April - June 2023 and it was a bust. It's GREAT for my husband, he's kept all kinds of cool shoes and clothing when he first started, but for women, good lord, no matter how many times I posted Style Info, Messages to my Stylist etc, they kept sending me the most horrible 'suburban Mom' junk... and it's expensive junk! Yoga Pants, Fleece Joggers, Heavy Sweaters, Zipped Jackets, Jeans that were too tight...when the Style I chose was "Boho", "Loose Fitting Prairie Shirts", "Baggy Boyfriend Jeans", "Leather Hippie Flats". I've opted to cancel, but you can't really cancel can you? It's just the option to "Buy on Demand" instead of receiving monthly auto-shipments. Honestly I'd rather just deactivate my whole account.
They don't send you full outfits like they advertise. I was sent one pair of jeans with four shirts to pair with. That's what I already do. No help in giving me a new wardrobe change.
I've been with Stitch Fix since pre-COVID, and aside from the Rachel Zoe "Box of Style," (which is now some off-brand bs), I've never been so disappointed in a service.
I've tried upping price points, upvoting/downvoting options every single day, writing notes to my "stylist," etc…nothing improves.
Basically no matter what price point you set them at, they'll give you 1-2 items you POSSIBLY will like, but the rest is crap. I've had at least 12-16 boxes now. So the trick is that if you keep everything, you save 25%. But they'll make sure to send you enough crap pieces where it will cost you more to send it back. However over the past 18 months, everything is crap.
Now they're just throwing spaghetti to the wall to see if anything sticks. I'm truly, extremely disappointed in this company. In a nutshell, BUYER BEWARE.
I love this online store. I let them them know that usps delivered my package damaged and they sent me another one to make up for someone else's mistake without asking. Thank you so much stitchfix!
Over the past year I have tried stitch fix several times. Unfortunately they rarely send things I will wear and when they do its poor quality at a high price. No more for me. I give up.
I am a trans man with a pretty good sense of style, and I was looking to acquire some higher-quality, well-fitted pieces for my wardrobe.
Stitch Fix was incredibly disappointing for me.
ALL of my items were very ill-fitting, which makes me wonder what the point was of submitting my specific measurements. My "stylist" included typos in their "personalized note" to me, while actively ignoring every Style and Fit tip I had given them.
2 out of 5 of the items I received, I would never wear. (NEVER.) I described myself as a grunge/punk who always wears black, and received a navy polo. And light-gray tech joggers. Both of which were not my size.
3 out of 5 things were adjacent to my style—but none of them fit, and they were all thrift-store quality for designer-store price.
I have no idea why anyone would ever order from Stitch Fix, especially as a man. My stylist might as well have been an AI—even then, I would expect more of a "personalized experience."
My experience has lead me to the conclusion that SF is a money-grab which preys upon those who don't know how much money they are wasting. Wasting on $80 flannels that don't even fit.
There are very discriminating they deactivated my account because there's more than just me. Excuse me how about I pull up the statistics of how many Tabitha McKinneys there are. However they don't have my SSN, my birthday, nor do they live in my state. But only one is me in IN. Now deactivating my account because there's more than one of me. I'm wondering just who you have from this statistics. Sad thing McKinney is my married name not my maiden name. So we can take this to court if you want to?
My wife convinced me to give this "service" a try...and at first it seemed like a good idea. I followed their prompts to create my profile and I gave them specific instructions regarding types of items as well as pricing guidelines...i.e. NO heavy sweaters or coats ( I live in South Florida), NO $50 Tee shirts, etc.
The very first "Fix" that they sent me for approval contained an $80 tee shirt. I'm not joking...clue one. I refused that and when I received the actual clothing, the package contained a winter weight sweater of the type that I specifically said no to. Back went 3 out of the 5 items. I decided that this was not going to be for me but I did order some mens' dress shorts just to be fair. Two washings in cold water and they turned into you know what. The last straw was the jeans that I kept from the first and only fix that I kept. They were the most expensive jeans that I have ever purchased...wore them exactly 3 times and just found a hole in them where one of the back pockets attach. Every pair of my $30 Lee jeans and more substantial material and much better quality. Stitch Fix is a good idea. Pretty bad execution. They seem to be the Warby Parker of "fashion"...
I literally had a Stitch Fix agent tell me that they "assumed" I wanted everything, even after purchasing one item from the bundle, so they charged me for everything. Spent hours trying to get my money returned for product I never wanted. They practically are now holding my money for ransom until they get the returns back to their warehouse. It's complete BS. I spent $48 and got charged almost $200. Money I needed while traveling. The agents were absolutely useless and just taught to keep the customer on a run-around until so frustrated that they give up. No professional company would ever "assume" without authorization and charge your account, then tell you they apologize for the inconvenience, the tell you that nothing can be done. It's my money, taken out without pre authentication, then held for ransom. Use another service. Stitch Fix are unprofessional and unreasonable to even bother with. I don't have proof of purchase for something I never wanted to begin with, just a charge and no money back. An absolutely pathetic company to deal and work with. Not worth it.
Good luck trying to contact a person! No such thing! I returned two items in one bag, got refunded for one, and not the other. It's been weeks and still no refund! I will never shop S.F. Again!
Answer: Credits are applied during checkout, not while you browse or put stuff in your cart.
Answer: No. The COMPUTER will then select pieces to replace those in the fix. The stylist is then locked into these choices. They might have a couple items the computer picks to choose from like we do when we preview, but they do not go and pick items. So if you request color and specific fabrics (no polyester) but the computer comes back with neutrals and a polyester jacket, that's what they will choose from.
Answer: They want you to pay them, even when you decide not to use them. The feel since they are in the UK, American laws don't apply to them. So they will charge you for there mistakes.
Answer: They make you buy the clothes and they will keep your card in file until you pay them.
The company has garnered mixed feedback, with some customers appreciating the quality and fit of the clothing, particularly for specific styles that resonate with their personal tastes. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, particularly the difficulty in canceling subscriptions, unresponsive support, and billing issues. Many customers express frustration over receiving items that do not align with their requests, leading to dissatisfaction with the overall shopping experience. This disconnect between customer expectations and service delivery suggests a need for improved communication and operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
