I've been a longtime ClassPass user and recently missed a class because of unexpected police activity around the studio that I was trying to go to. I was charged a $28 late cancellation fee. The studio refunded anyone who purchased classes directly from them but because I booked through CP, they told me I had to go through CP. I contacted customer service and told me they would not reverse the late fee because I "should have planned better." Super inflexible policy and total lack of consideration for their customers.

Stitch Fix has the slowest customer service ever. They take days to respond to emails, and returns/exchanges are slow and painful. I was given a gift card for my birthday and used it to buy a pair of jeans. Stitch Fix sent me the wrong size so I asked to exchange for the correct size -- however, they would only send me the correct size if I used a credit card to make a new charge. They wouldn't let me apply gift card credit to the exchange so instead, I opted for a refund so that I could get my gift card credit back. It's been over a week since the return arrived at their headquarters and I still haven't gotten my refund back. During that week, the last pair of jeans in my size sold out. If these guys didn't work at a snails pace, I would have gotten the size that I needed. STILL WAITING!

I've consigned with Material World for years, back when their payout method was through their Fashion Trade-In Card. I had a few hundred dollars on that Trade-In Card. Recently, they discontinued use of the Fashion Trade-In Card, and supposedly mailed checks to consignors who still had a balance remaining on their cards. Well guess what - I never got that check. And it's been a nightmare trying to get someone at Material World to help. They blamed the issuing bank for sending it to the wrong address. Ok fine. Then how about sending it to the correct address where I currently reside? It's not rocket science. Despite them promising me that "they're looking into it," I still don't have my check. Be careful if you decide to consign with them. They are frauds.

They ended up giving me another $50 for the Narciso Rodriguez dress. Glad that they finally addressed my complaint, but it was only after I posted it on a public forum. Customer service was dismissive and unresponsive for over a month until I posted my review.

If you ever have an issue with thredUP's service in the future, just keep that in mind that if you go through the conventional route of trying to contact customer service directly, you will likely be ignored, but a negative Sitejabber, Yelp or Google review will get their attention almost immediately.

I've consigned with similar websites before and never had any major problems, but unfortunately I made the mistake of trying Thredup for the first time recently. I sent a number of unused NWT items that somehow never made the cut (guessing those items were "donated," so they say), but even worse, I consigned a Narciso Rodriguez NWT dress that retailed for $1500 and Thredup mislabeled it as a Barneys New York dress and gave me $50 upfront for it. Yes the dress was purchased from Barneys and the tag was still on it - but it was not a Barneys brand dress. The item sold almost immediately and so there was no opportunity for me to reclaim it or to reject the $50 upfront. When I brought the matter up to Thredup, customer service said they would look into the issue but I never heard back. Then somehow, they took the photos of my dress off of my account page. It wasn't because the item was sold - all of my other sold items are still on my account page. I suspect this was an active attempt to cover up the fact that they mispriced my dress. First and last time I will ever consign with Thredup.
