I have been with Stitch fix for many years and never had a problem until now. I canceled my Feb box because of moving. They first refunded me my $20 Styling fee which I usually do the $49 a year but because of moving I wasn't sure how many boxes I would schedule. But later that day recharged me I sent them proof a screen shot of my bank statement and they said yes we see where you've been charged but they don't have records on their end wait you see you recharged me but you have no record so refused to refund my little $20 and I have spent thousands of dollars wow be careful they will keep your money they have terrible customer service now. Crooks! They are obviously hurting if they can't afford to refund someone $20.
Absolutely awful. Save the money go get it yourself. Worst thing you could do.
Get a box off stuff want one thing cost you an arm and a leg. Then you better get it back in the mail the next day or you bought the whole box it seems.
Worst way to buy anything
My first box was an okay match for my style and I kept two of the items; the initial $20 styling fee had been waived or it would have been a bad deal. My second box was a total "miss" and nothing was of interest; it cost me the $20 styling fee for nothing. Definitely NOT worth it.
Kinda new at this but have received 3 orders so far... one order I sent all items back it was easy process, bag supplied for return already addressed and paid... easy peezy...
Just got new order and loved it all... little more pricey but we are paying for convenience...
Also when I was late returning 2nd order I just sent them email and they gave me extra days to review...
So definitely communication is key... Great service so far and love the clothing...
I used stich fix for the first time last month and loved it! They cator to your personal style and make it so easy to send back any items you are not a fan of. The stylist personalizes your order based on your a detailed survey about your style and requests of what you would like them to send you ( clothing, jewelry, outfits for a special occasion ect). By sending a return envelope that's pre paid, they make it very easy to send back any items that don't fit your style after trying them on. The stylist are friendly and are really interested in what it is your looking for. I also like how if ou purchase all 5 items they send, your get 25% off your order! I will definitely be using stich fix again!
On February 8th 2024 without my consent they took most of my money out of my bank account and they weren't even supposed to do that until around the 3rd of the month so they got thieves and backstabbers working for them and their employees don't care about their customers' allergies cuz I've had the same clothes back that I was allergic to
Was charged
November 25th sent back within timeframe and have not received the refund. Have made many phone calls and emails.
They say they will look into it.
They have the clothes and the money!
Don't bother with them!
I literally don't understand why people use this. Everything I got was cheap and ugly and not my style at all. It was bad quality items at ridiculous prices for what the items were. Do not recommend at all
I ordered my first fix from stitch fix and I was not happy with the prices of the products. Although they are not supposed to refund my subscription fee they did anyway because I did not like my first fix. As a result, I have nothing bad to say about the company.
This is my second box and I was offered 4 choices of a very similiar top and a pair of jeans. I was not impressed by this. I declined all but the jeans, but the replacement styles were equally as boring. If you are looking for basics to build your wardrobe this is the right service. I'm seeking something more unique and fun.
This is very cool. You have to do your part and complete your style profile as honestly as you can. It helps even more to link style boards from your Pinterest account. The more they can get to know what you like, the better you will like the items they ship you. I still think it's a bit overpriced, but if they do it right and you like all 5 pieces, you get a 20% discount which makes it a lot more affordable.
Quality was questionable at best, and I did not opt for the "cheaper the better" option. I was very specific about my style, even gave access to my Pinterest board. 1st fix I sent detailed review of everything I didn't keep and why. Same with 2nd fix, in addition I called the customer service line (which was incredibly difficult to find online) and gave her detailed instructions as well. The 3rd fix was the worst one yet. I don't know what more I can do when I tell them multiple times that I don't like jeans with rips, and they send me ripped jeans. In addition, in order to speak to a customer service representative you have to really hunt for it on the internet, as they do not post it anywhere on their websites. A highly disappointing experience.
I gave them several tries but have finally given up. The first & second shipments were good then suddenly the quality tanked and my "stylist" listened to nothing I said. BEWARE - if they start the "styling" process you're credit card is hit for $20. Even if you cancel WELL AHEAD of the ship date, you never have that fee returned! I'll shop local from now on.
I think Stitch Fix is such a fun way to shop! Having a stylist pick out clothes for you based on likes, dislikes and body type is so fun. Try on all 5 pieces, keep what you love, and return what you don't love! So fun! Love!
I tried stitch fix. Wanted a change went to wantable went back to stitch fix then tried short people. Went back to stitch fix. Then tried runway rent clothes. Stitch fix is by far the best of all companies my clothes fit and look just like the picture.
Like getting things from stitch fix. It is unique service that you put in a style profile and are charged a $20.00 styling it fee which is taken off if you keep any of the items sent to you. The items cost anywhere from $40.00 and up.
They send you five items and show you ways to different ways to wear them. You get 25% off if you keep all 5 items. My first shipment was pretty good and I kept 2 or 3 items. I got things I would never pick out for myself that I liked. My second shipment was not so good. Actaully pretty awful. You get a different "stylist" every time. The first stylist was more attuned to my body type etc. then second one. So I'm trying a few more times by adding more info with a pintrest style board. See if tht will help
I hate shopping! So this is a great solution for me. When you get the package it can be fun. It also can be disappointing whe you hate everything in your shipment.
I went into detail about my preferences, I held nothing back. I opened three boxes to be sorely disappointed each time. I told them I was hot natured yet they sent winter items in the spring. I told them no accessories they sent a cheap bracelet. They sent one blouse in royal blue I wanted badly but it was dry clean only. Nope.
I wasn't hard to please I just wanted them to listen but it seemed like their only goal was to charge that $20.00 fee and ship out five items that weren't thought through. I really wish the stylist had cared.
You have to be totally devoid of fashion sense to keep any of the items sent from Stitch Fix. The quality is no better than Forever 21, marked up another 50%. Jewelry is cheap, but you'll pay around $30 for a goldtone necklace you'd find en masse at F21 for $12. Nice concept, disappointing execution.
I have purchased from Stitch Fix a handful of times and decided to just to try Wantable. I received 1 box from wantable and sent everything back. The materials if the clothes felt cheap, the prices were far more than what the quality of some of the garments seemed to be and they did not match my style AT ALL. I promptly returned to Stitch Fix and purchased a sweater and a pair of pants and scheduled another Fix to be sent to me. I am wearing the sweater and pants today and I LOVE them! In my opinion, Stitch Fix is the better option in terms of quality and price.
Received a gift card for my birthday. I kept 2 of the items just so my $20 stylist fee can be used towards the items I kept. Cheap material and expensive. I get better quality clothing at Target or the Loft. Spent my gift card and canceled my subscription.
Answer: Credits are applied during checkout, not while you browse or put stuff in your cart.
Answer: No. The COMPUTER will then select pieces to replace those in the fix. The stylist is then locked into these choices. They might have a couple items the computer picks to choose from like we do when we preview, but they do not go and pick items. So if you request color and specific fabrics (no polyester) but the computer comes back with neutrals and a polyester jacket, that's what they will choose from.
Answer: They want you to pay them, even when you decide not to use them. The feel since they are in the UK, American laws don't apply to them. So they will charge you for there mistakes.
Answer: They make you buy the clothes and they will keep your card in file until you pay them.
The company has garnered mixed feedback, with some customers appreciating the quality and fit of the clothing, particularly for specific styles that resonate with their personal tastes. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, particularly the difficulty in canceling subscriptions, unresponsive support, and billing issues. Many customers express frustration over receiving items that do not align with their requests, leading to dissatisfaction with the overall shopping experience. This disconnect between customer expectations and service delivery suggests a need for improved communication and operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
