I gave it two tries. The fit was very off both times. Style was ok. Their Imarkup is expensive. They have some in-house brands that are hard to compare, but the other brands they sell are literally over twice the cost you can find for the exact item at most other retailers. The big sell is saving time but when I have to rush to the post office in their short return window it takes more time than going to the mall.
I decided to try Stitch Fix because, like so many, I do not have time to shop. My hesitation was that I am hard to fit. I am 5'10 - everything g is too short. But I gave it a try - to my surprise every single thing they sent me fit! I loved the sweaters, the jeans and the tops. I was thrilled! Until I wore the top to work and the entire seam unraveled and started up the side of the shirt! I let them know and they credited my account $58 - $58 for a shirt of this quality?!?! Then the sweater started the same unraveling - so I cancelled. The jeans they sent that I really liked, I just put on today for the first time since trying them on. There are slots where the fabric is splitting! These will join the other items in the trash. They are not even fit for donation. Clothes at Target and Walmart would be a better purchase if that is what you are looking for. But I advise stay away from the bad quality at Stitch Fix
I would love to have written a review about my items, but the thing is I never received them. When I saw that it updated on the website that my package had been delivered i was so excited which immediately turned to disappointment. There was no package there when I got home. I immediately contact them to let them know that i did not receive the package which was on 11/22/19. They extended my date to return or pay to the 30th to give more time to get the package, which I still still never received. Now fast forward, today is 12/03/19 and i still haven't heard from anyone in regards to a replacement Fix or a refund. I have emailed and also chatted with different reps ans still not result. Maybe something will happen before Christmas or maybe even new years...
I have been using Stitch Fix for over almost two years. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the items I have purchased. Recently I purchased a pair of jeans that I felt wore out much more quickly than they should have.
Even though I was past the 30 day window for returns they responded to my email within 24 hours and are replacing the item!
No back and forth at all, no hassle just a quick response to say they were sorry that I was not satisfied and that they would be taking care of the issue immediately.
Great products, great prices, great service!
I could not be happier!
I am not a cheap person but I received my first and last box today. At first I sort of liked the items but I commented that the quality was not up to par then I saw the prices! OMG this little white top (which was very poor quality) was $138! And the shoes ( which I can get online I am sure for half the price) were $78 I was absolutely shocked at how expensive the items were. AND then found out you only have 3 days to return. I am surprised this is still in business
Oh wow! I used to use this service over the years, and they were pretty good. However, they now no longer even look at your preferences. I am 61 years old and asked for sweater dresses in the dead of winter. They sent me sundresses only (strapless, spaghetti straps) in January that were tiny (I am a 10-12) and designed for a girl in high school. This type of issues had happened repeatedly. I sent messages to their customer service about the issues and they pretty much ignored me and told me the fix would be Ok. And now you can't send back the fix without going to the post office and waiting in line as you can't send back via UPS. So don't waste your precious time, energy and money on this!
Worst app and company to deal with. Greedy and incompetent. After cancelling, they still send packages I have to return EVERY OTHER WEEK! It's like it's being forced on me to the point harassment. Avoid at all cost.
I have continued to give them chances to provide me with a fix that even remotely reflect my style profile and stitch fix profile. I listed to not send jewelry and not only did they send it once they sent it twice after I clearly stated on my feedback to not send it. The prices are ridiculously high for the sub par quality. So they rope you in by "crediting" the $20 styling fee if you decide to keep a piece but what is the point of that when the five pieces they send are not even remotely what I asked for in addition to the over priced fix. I have wasted way to much time explaining to these "stylists" what not to send which is by far worth more than $20.
I got my first and last box on 3/30. I was so disappointment when I looked inside and noticed that I hated everything. After they receive this return my plan is to cancel service because it wasn't worth the wait or time I took to complete the questionnaire.
I receive a "Fix" every three weeks and in the past year there has only been one time that I sent everything back. The stylists listen to my preferences and the prices are comparable to what i would pay in a store at the mall.
I have been a Stitchfix customer for a few years and have tried repeatedly over the last six months to cancel. There is no customer service number, and when you try to do this online the site does not enable the links to cancel. Thieves!
I was very excited about this until I recieved the first shipment... I didn't really like anything in the box however I did keep one top because I hated sendind everything back. I was expecting complete outfit shoes jewelry etc. No jewelry no shoes one pair of pants, a jacket and 2 tops. I thought well hopefully the next one will be better... absolutely not I actually think it was worse! I recieved two tops exactly alike but different colors, a dress with long sleeves might I add its 90 degrees outside, a pair of shorts and an ugly pair of Toms... Needless to say I sent it all back and cancelled my account a total waste of my money! Save yourself the trouble go do your own shopping!
I talked with a rep. And they wouldn't cancel my order before being shipped out. Their excuse was our tool doesn't allow us to stop an order. So now I will have to send order back when I get it. They make very hard for you to cancel orders and service. My suggestion don't use service. Look for one you can cancel shipments.
I have bought 3 or 4 Stitchfix boxes. I kept the clothes but a few pieces did not last long. Didnt seem like they were paying attention to what I wanted. The last straw was when the stopped advertising during Laura Ingraham show. I dont care if youre a liberal or republican, we have free speech. It shows their extreme political bias. That is a dangerous thing.
Tried them once and the only thing I would have kept was the shoes and even they were cheap looking.(Payless quality) Most of the items were over priced and were shown online for half the price. Finding a stylist would be cheaper.
Talk about a bunch of thieves amungs us. I was trying there service for the 1st time. They claim to have left a box that never made it to my door. Charged a CC that was not on file with them. I wouldn't care if I had received the items. However I never received that particular box. I have made so many attempts to get my funds refunded or at least the items, with no luck.
At this point I feel I can t only share with y'all that they are a bunch of rip offs. Don't do it, they will charge you with no delivery and claim they shipped. Also there customer service attention is non existent. Worst experience ever. Run for the hills instead of giving them access to your hard earned money.
Great way to get help with shopping for yourself. You take a survey that best describes your likes and dislikes in clothing. Give them your size, and they send you several outfits to try on. If you keep them you pay, if you don't like what they send; you can ship all or part of the clothing back for free. They send occasional emails to let you know what is trending and they strive to keep you up to date and in style.
I tried it for the first time. The Profile does not have very long quiz. The items received were good quality but not exactly according to my answers. The fit was perfect as well. Try it out and get $75 Credit using this: https://www.stitchfix.com/invite/kn4wb2fm4j?pbid=*******&sod=m&som=c
Maybe before hating on Stitch Fix you should look at what's your own fault. You can't expect a miracle in your first fix when you weren't even clear on what you wanted. Just shut up and continue shopping at Walmart. Stitch Fix has completely made over my whole closet, and my style. They are awesome.
Yes, I stink at shopping. I admit it. My sister can dig thru racks and put together outfits. Me, if it's not on a manequin forget it.
I enjoyed Stitch Fix because they put together outfits. What made me stop was not enough selection for Petites. In fact when I first started it was a problem particularly for pants they would send as the fit would be off. Yes, it's a bit pricey but to get an outfit sent to you that you wouldn't think to buy but actually looks good, it's a nice treat.
Answer: Credits are applied during checkout, not while you browse or put stuff in your cart.
Answer: No. The COMPUTER will then select pieces to replace those in the fix. The stylist is then locked into these choices. They might have a couple items the computer picks to choose from like we do when we preview, but they do not go and pick items. So if you request color and specific fabrics (no polyester) but the computer comes back with neutrals and a polyester jacket, that's what they will choose from.
Answer: They want you to pay them, even when you decide not to use them. The feel since they are in the UK, American laws don't apply to them. So they will charge you for there mistakes.
Answer: They make you buy the clothes and they will keep your card in file until you pay them.
The company has garnered mixed feedback, with some customers appreciating the quality and fit of the clothing, particularly for specific styles that resonate with their personal tastes. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious concerns regarding customer service, particularly the difficulty in canceling subscriptions, unresponsive support, and billing issues. Many customers express frustration over receiving items that do not align with their requests, leading to dissatisfaction with the overall shopping experience. This disconnect between customer expectations and service delivery suggests a need for improved communication and operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
