Deceive you about the price and can only record 2 movies at a time and you have to be watching one of them, what's the point of recording the thing that your watching?
They charged me money for a service I don't have for over a year and now they said can't give me my money back because i didn't complain on time. Bunch of thieves!
I received a $19.99/month promotion via mail for TV streaming then when I called i was told it is $29.99 and the price won't change for one year or $39 as far as I remember and this was for 2 years and these two set of prices imstead of $19.99 were because I wanted to include CNN and MSNBC. I called the next day to place the order but the the 2 years promotion was not even there at the first place the guy did not know what I was talking about anf I had to stick with one year promotion the only one I had left with. Time passes and my bill was over $50 the reason was as i was told because of the local channels I was not told anything about it in the the first place and when I called them to complain they were careless and disrespectful and they did not care if I switch back to SLING. Not to mention I had to buy a $50 ROKU device in order for me to be able to get their streaming this was not the case with SLING.

She was superb
Detected the problem
Corrected and repaired several issues
Spent sufficient time until the problem was over
Even informed the computer repair persons of their mistakes
Was exytremely kind and helpful
So, a lady approached me at Walmart and ask me about Spectrum services and I told her I don't make any of these decisions by myself. He is the person that has the last word on anything to do with any kind of services to our house. And I specifically told Tomeka (if that is even her name), that I would have to go home and ask to see if my husband wants Spectrum's services. Got home and my husband said no. And then without even getting back with Tomeka, we get a box of Spectrum's equipment at our doorstep from them. First of all, we never told her that we were accepting their services. And a week or two after returning Spectrum's equipment back, we get a bill from them! This representative of Spectrum has a shady way of doing business and for that, Tomeka needs to be fired! That's just wrong! So now, when we move….we will not even consider getting Spectrum services in the future. I did considered it before, but definitely not now! Even AT&T has never stooped this low! They may be a bit more expensive….but we have never had anything this shady happen with them! So now, we will make sure if any of our friends and/or family even considers acquiring Spectrum services….we will convince them to not do it!
I wonder how a company would react if I only paid a percentage of the agreed upon price I was billed instead of the full amount. Just like how they advertised "100Mbps" and I'm getting 1st test 0.28 Mbps download and 0.13 upload. 2nd 0.73 Mbps dowload & 0.08 Mbps upload. 3rd test 0.41 Mbps download & 3.32 Mbps upload.
Called to drop Spectrum TV. Spectrum internet is so bad the TV stream does not work well. After giving it three months to improve I called to drop the service. Each time I called and they found out I was dropping a service they hung up on me four time after a 20+ MIN WAIT EACH TIME.
Spectrum in a dispute over cost and we the paying custom being penalized. Not getting what we are paying for and Spectrum blaming the other party. I'm in the process of signing with another carrier.

I HATE SPECTRUM & all of its services. First, a tech came out to install cable, leaving behind spectrum nails, screws & plastic behind in our yard. As a result, my car tire was punctured & flattened. When I called to submit the complaint, they asked for receipts of damage. I submitted the requested receipts. That was 8 months ago & Spectrum did NOTHING.
A week or so later the Spectrum remote control wasn't working so we called again. A tech came out. He rushed the installation job, leaving behind all his work tools. His tools! We called to have someone come & retrieve the tools. Spectrum sent another tech & confirmed the tools were received. The "original" tech guy came back to our home unannounced (never called to say he was coming back) & began banging on our door demanding his tools. Great thing is we have RING cameras with voice & it captured everything!
Now a few days ago (Saturday Dec 3rd), on a Spectrum's recorded line we called to get a technician specifically for:
•connection problems
•network issues
•Apple TV
"Michael" the tech arrived & sat outside for almost 20 minutes. His attitude was foul from the onset. He immediately began tell me what he could not do. I asked had he looked at the work order. When he finally read the order he continued insisting he could not complete the order request.
When I asked him to leave - he would not leave. For 25 minutes the Spectrum tech sat in front of our home & would not leave.
My husband called the police & alerted Spectrum. That's when the tech finally left.
I went to the Portsmouth office and spoke to a representative who I left a five-star review for. She went above and beyond what anyone could expect. However, a technician was scheduled to come to my residence several hours later to replace a modem that was older than father time. The technician came to my house and advised me that if the modem is bad he does not have a modem or router with him. Why would you service a customer for a bad modem that you asked to be replaced without bringing a modem around them with you? That is like a surgeon trying to perform surgery without a patient or instruments! I do not understand what the technician hope to accomplish. I spent 2 hours on the phone with support still trying to rectify this situation! From a top notch experience in Portsmouth Ohio this morning to thinking I was being punked on MTV in the afternoon. The technician was very friendly! But how can you expect to replace an aging broke modem or router that's not working when you come to a service call without a router or modem? That is like me going to the Ohio lottery and can I be a winner and them saying did you purchase a ticket and I say no not today I have in the past! You'll like it
Don't use Them. THEY HAVE BE HOUNDING ME FOE $134 FOR 3 YEARS. THEY turned me into a lawyer and I have proof that we canceled the day after we set up our new service with AT&T fiber. We didn't use any of their service that month and they still charged us. A lawyer for $134. They must be desperate for money like Blockbuster was.
Was lied to for 2 weeks saying there was service available at the new place
Was told a tech would be out so wasted time and gas going to new place for no one to show up
Then after chatting with spectrum for the rest of thev2 weeks I'm finally told there is no service available in that area and $#*! off my services at my home where I'm still at
And now I'm being told they have to run new service and I have to pay fees to get it up and going again and they have to run a credit check

If there is another company in your area go with them and save yourself all the headaches
Poor service. You pay for 24/7 service but when service is interrupted there is no help. When you quote back what the statement that is reflected on tv, they say they do not understand.
Expensive and double talking to confuse people. They want your bill at least 170.00 rigged. ARE not customer friendly and do not extend to loyal customers BAD COMPANY
WENT TO PAY MY SPECTRUM BILL AT THE WINONA OFFICE TODAY AND THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT. I HAVE BEEN PAYING IT THAT WAY FOR OVER 3 YEARS! MY WIFE GIVES ME A CHECK FROM HER CHECKING ACCOUNT AND I TAKE THAT TO PAY THE SPECTRUM ACCOUNT LISTED UNDER MY NAME. SAME ADDRESS AND LAST NAME ON BOTH ACCOUNTS. GUESS THEY DON'T WANT THE MONEY. THE GUY THAT WOULD NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT IS THE GEEKY GUY THAT IS AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER. GUESS WE WILL SWITCH BACK TO HBC FOR SERVICE HERE IN WINONA.
Well in October I called spectrum and ask them just for internet which I thought I got even asked the guy that installed everything if that's all I got they said yes then 3 months later I get a bill for 287 I called them cause I pay 50 just for internet they tell me I have tv phone and internet that I didn't know I had so now my service is getting cut off cause I didn't know I had the tv or phone now they want to pay I don't think I should have to since I didn't know I had
Spectrum is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service supervisor flat lied to me about the repair technical. I canton wait to discontinue my service with them.
When i agreed to get cable internet on spectrum, the monthly bill was supposed to be $118 per month, started month was august 26,2020. You get the bill instantly. There was a connection fee 1st bill. The next bill went up to $121.50. I called spectrum why the increase. They said there was an increase on cable. Yesterday i got an email from spectrum saying thank you for your recent spectrum order. And state per your request your service has been updated. So now my monthly bill coming will be $131.50. I never ordered anything! Spectrum conveniently added an order i never did to increase my bill. I called them few times to get rid of this damn added bill, i was on hold for so long a few times attempt to call and argue the added bill. Problem was not solve. Next day, i went to thier office store to dispute this added bill, the spectrum cust. Service has the nerve to asked what did i order. And wont take the word I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING THATS WHY I AM HERE. The cust service i cant help you if you dont tell me what u ordered. WTF?! This monopolize internet cable company knows we the consumer are at thier mercy since we all need internet and cable. Its part of our life. So they play the games to us the consumers who gets played and take the bite of thier monkey business.
Bill arrives and is substantially higher than the last. Call to cancel and told must pay full bill anyway even with service canceled. Theft plain and simple.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
