They purposely mess up your auto pay so you end up paying extra money. I had auto pay setup and every other month the bill comes as back due because auto pay didn't work. And when asked they say on their system it doesn't show it setup. And no support to check why so. Thus making you pay extra money for overdue ( which is a big scam). Forget small outages, One time they had outage for a whole day that too on week days and no sorry for it, no discount for it. Worst service ever.
Was late on payment due to the pandemic and having difficulty finding a new job. I've been with them for over 10 years with all payments made on time and they cannot provide me an extension as I wait for relief to activate. The customer service lady keeps repeating over and over, "there is nothing we can do at this time. Is there anything else we can help you with?" She must've copied and pasted that like 10 times as I was pleading with her. As if she did not give a crap.
Also, they have been charging me more for the same service they were offering new customers. $25 a month more than what I have been seeing advertised. Their service isn't all that great either. Internet would go out very often and for long periods.

Worst customer service. I am going in today to cancel my TV, Internet, cell phone plans. Was on the phone for over an hour. Got disconnected called again. Was trying to activate my Apple Watch. No No one knew what they were doing. Kept switching me to different departments.

I am on the EBb program which recently got switch to a new program. I get calls constantly from spectrum about my bill and recently I had one of their guys at my front door telling me he's coming back on the 2; to take my equipment? I called spectrum after that clown left, I was reassured by spectrum I can not be shut off and that she "didn't know why he used such harsh tactics " towards me. They accidentally disconnected my internet service then nobody in the office know how to reconnect them and put me on hold for 2 hrs keep forwarding me to different people even the supervisor does not know how to fix, still unable to reconnect worst service ever.

What a joke! I returned my equipment to a spectrum store 12/30/21. After noticing I was still being billed in February 2022, I reached out to customer service to settle the issue and get a refund for the 2 months of service I clearly did not use. After trying to sell additional services for 36 minutes, spectrum decided at that point I really wanted to disconnect services and proceeded to let me know a refund of $344 dollars was not possible.

This is 3rd times I call spectrum customers services, everything the same, representative not focus the main required of customers, they always try to sales options: extra Tv, extra home phone, upgrade service,... even though the customers didn't want. I ordered service on Friday and they said my modem is FedEx and will be there Saturday afternoon it did not show up so I called and let them know and they said it would be FedEx and be out no later than Sunday by noon and it still never showed. I called back and this time they told me it would not show up until at least Tuesday after 8:00 p.m. and since I do not have any internet I cannot use my wireless spectrum TV to watch shows. I am still being charged for 5 days of service I was not able to use due to them.
Burns me Marcus never mentioned the one time $19.99 charge when I called to get all my questions answered to decide if I wanted to order internet. Upon going to pay my bill I noticed the $19.99 charge. I called on it today and the manager apologized. She then asked if I received the email with the confirmation of the order. I was able to pull it up and saw the one time charge of $19.99. Sad you cannot count on a Spectrum reps to be straight up with you! I am a busy small business owner, so I didn't look at the billing info in the email because I trusted Marcus had been up front on all the charges when I called. Funny how big business can stick it to you, but small business will get ripped apart if done accidentally! Manager used the email for her excuse as to why she wouldn't refund the one time charge!
Ok so ive had spectrum for a while now and everytime the people who i talk to have an attitude idk what this is on about i have beeb having internet problems for 2 years now i am sick and tired of me spending so much money and i get told a million fking times to reboot router i already know the drill u dont need to tell me the same fking thing over and over i work from home i pay too much money for a service thats uptime is like 30% always having problems with spectrum technicians been to our house "our technician didnt find any problems comint from our house" almost 2 months later internet can you fking work i will make it a 2 star if u stopped having such bad service also the speeds are up to 400 mbps so i get around 200 but with ethernet very rarely i get 400 ye not flying with me

I have used Time Warner, now Spectrum, for many years. I attempted to cancel and they are billing me a full month of service at a non-discounted rate because I called in to cancel on February 9,2022, and they said my billing month began on February 8,2022 and advised they don't prorate. I explained that I had been paying the full rate for internet service for many years on time every month and requested that they remove the charge for the service I did not use. They repeatedly refused. After speaking with a 3rd person at Spectrum they agreed to reduce it by $50.00 and then sent me a bill for the full amount. I have repeatedly attempted to go onto my online Spectrum account to pay and cannot access the account. I'm saddened to say the least. Their customer service has a bad reputation for a good reason.

But when I called it's actually…wait for it …$44.99 for my Internet and then an additional $44.99 for TV! Altogether it's actually $90! It's not a bundle for $44.99 like advertised, it's separate so what a freakin scam and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
I have had spectrum off and on for a couple years. I paid off my 77 dollar balance that my app said I owed and tried to set up a new plan because I was paying 70+ a month for 30 mbps and they were advertising 400mbps for 44$ a month. I tried to set it up online but would not go through, called in and gave a reference number and they said I have 2 past bills for my adress that had to be paid first. One for 160 something and another for 670. So somehow even though I was able to sign up for the service I just cancelled without paying these mystery balances, now that I have canceled I cant restore service without paying 800 dollars. With promotional costs, thats like 16 months worth or service. What a completely worthless scam artist of a company. They should have a class action lawsuit. Just look at the rest of these reviews. Wow I just tried to screenshot a picture of my paid off balance but guess what, screenshots arent allowed by spectrum app. These are all obvious signs of illegal and unethical activity!
