I started emailing all Spa Boutique suppliers... Nancy didn't like that very much, and refunded my money right away. Suppliers head offices are all listed online, it was quite simple.
Thank you to everyone who wrote a review. I only wish I had checked before I ordered! Now out $200 with little recourse. How could a company that once was able to get it right, go so wrong?! Can anyone who lives in Vancouver go by the address and see if the company is still there? This totally sucks!
Was a repeat customer of spaboutique.ca, but I had the same experience as many others have reviewed with my recent order.
Products were not delivered as promised, even though I followed-up multiple times - and being told that they will be shipped 'soon'. Once it was apparent that was not going to happen, I requested a refund. Refund was promised Sept. 5 and would be processed within 10 business days.
That, of course, did not happen. After multiple attempts at resolving directly with the Spa Boutique, I was also left with no choice but to dispute charge with my credit card company.
I would be surprised if they survive, I imagine cash-flow will be a major problem for them after settling all of these fought charges!
NEVER EVER ORDER from these guys. Worst retail experience ever.
I ordered and paid for some items on October 15,2014, and I have never received them. They do not respond to my e-mails, and now they are not taking any phone calls. They keep saying the same thing, that they are so busy with orders that they cannot take any phone calls. Buyer beware, this company does not deliver.
Ordered twice from this website and was happy with the vast selection of different brands they offer. Fast & free shipping is a bonus as well. On one of my orders, an item was out of stock. However, no one from the warehouse contacted me regarding the out of stock item. Upon receiving the parcel, opening it and realizing one item was missing... my initial reaction was WTFFFF to see one item missing. Then I finally realized it was out of stock only when I saw the item crossed off on the attached invoice. More effective communication skills should have been implemented to lessen the unpleasant surprise to the customer. Contacting the customer via email regarding the out of stock item would have been nice.
Hi! I am also a customer who was waiting for my order. I ordered 200.00 worth of product and have waited almost 2 months for my product. I have talked to the credit card company and might have to wait up to two months to get the charges reversed. Their is a another website that looks a lot like Spa Boutique and it's also located in Vancouver I would be very wary.
I wish I would have found this site and read the reviews before I placed my order. I thought to myself, "oh they are from Vancouver, they use Paypal, they seem legit". Clearly I was wrong. I placed an order July 4, kept telling me after I emailed them numerous times that my product was not yet in stock. August 8 I cancelled- told I would be refunded everything to my bank account but nothing. Visa will now be dealing with them. Hopefully they go out of business because they clearly have no organization or apparently, any products!
I don't know what is going on with them it has been way over 1 month since I ordered my last products - I did receive two emails stating that they had 10-20 business days to ship products - the last 3 emails that I sent - no response - I have been a loyal customer for at least 5 years and this is how they treat loyal customers - disgusting - especially if they are going bankrupt as the website is still up and running. I just want someone to get back to me on my inquiries.
Do NOT deal with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering and paying for products that I never received. My money has not been refunded, in spite of repeated requests, and I am now working through my credit card dispute department. Very disappointing for a young Canadian company with so much press to display complete lack of integrity.
ZERO stars! Worst customer service, never answer their phone, rarely answer emails, I've been waiting for my refund for 2 months now! Starting to think this company has gone bankrupt or is a total scam from all the other terrible reviews! They stole my money. I reported the business on Better Business Bureau and I suggest that everyone should do the same so this company could get investigated and so we could get some answers. I was told the refund is taking long due to "high volume of refunds" and now you can no longer reach them on the phone due to "high volumes of calls". Everyone beware of Spa Boutique!
Ordered a product from this company and $126 was charged immediately to my credit card. One month later still had not received product. Sent two emails with no response. Called and the person who took my call could not have been more disinterested. Said they would call back and didn't. Finally received product. Will not order again from here. There are far more reputable places to order that actually have customer service.
I placed an order in Dec 2014. After waiting for 2 months and sending numerous emails (with no response) and calling the phone # (which was disconnected) I finally received a notice stating that my products would be shipped. I had already lost hope and assumed I had lost my money in a scam. Today my products arrived completely damaged and frozen solid. This company is awful - they don't respond to emails. Do not order from this company.
Yep- same as other recent reviews. I've ordered in the past and had a good experience, but this time items were missing (out of stock) from my shipment it said I'd get them sent to me later after 2 months and 4 phone calls and some really bad customer service I will be sent (so they say) my stuff I paid for 2 months ago next week. This is after having them try to suggest other products than I ordered because what I ordered is out of stock again- basically seems like they lost that I was t sent the stuff. They admit it was never sent. I got a pathetic 'sorry about that' and that is how she was willing to leave it. When I pointed out that was terrible I was offered a discount on my next order!? I also had a a rude girl explain to me what "follow up" means after I told her I was already to that by another rep. I'd be interested to know if the other reviewers specifically had a problem receiving Eminence products... The crappy customer service is just the icing on the cake!
Terrible company. I have ordered previously with no problems. My last order was on 12 Sept 2014. $351.43 was posted to my credit card on the same day. I have sent 5 emails tried numerous times to call. Their phone is disconnected and they have the nerve to send me an email today for their Christmas sale! REALLY?
OMG, I am having the same problems, I placed an order in July 2014, still have not received my order and it is now almost November 2014, have called several times, mailbox is full. I have sent emails, same story, refund in the mail or product will be sent out shortly. It is so ridiculous, but as women or men, we get sucked in with discounts, not worth it! Too much stress waiting for product or refund. How can I get a refund or products? Any suggestions?

This company has become bankrupt and no longer exists in the real world. It does however still exist in the virtual world and the owner is committing fraud by accepting your orders and taking your money with no ability to fill that order. Go to the police and let them know what has happened.
I am getting the sinking feeling I have been ripped off by http://www.spaboutique.ca - particularly after reading the negative reviews here. I ordered over $300 worth of products from this company a full month ago. Now they are not contactable and my card was charged on the day of the order. They list my order as "processing". I am notifying the visa company to see if I can get a refund on my card as there is fraud insurance as an aspect of the service.
Absolutely the worst customer service! Placed an order back in February of 2014, did not receive my order until I emailed with no response and called. Finally received them only to find one of the products was incorrect. They wanted me to ship it back then they would send me the correct one. Ok no problem, only they shipped me the incorrect one again! Finally I insisted I want my money returned. After several calls to this company, I am still waiting for my refund and it is now July. Keep your money and save yourself the hassle of dealing with Spa Boutique.
I made the mistake of ordering from this company for $170.24 on March 8,2015. I decided to cancel my order right away after my Visa was charged minutes after placing my order. This sent up red flags to me... my visa should not of been charged until the items I ordered were mailed out. They have no customer service phone number to call only contact is by E-mail. I have E-mailed this company many, many times stating I want to cancel my order under their 48 hours rule after you place an order. It has been a full month now and still no refund. I have been contacted by E-mail from the founder, Nancy Mudford to say "we sent out cheques today March 27/15, we are located in Vancouver and it will take time to reach you"... I live in Prince Rupert BC and it only takes 3-4 business days for mail to get here... still no refund! And its April 9/15. I have all the E-mails I have sent to this company and a few responses from them that I will forward on to my Visa company to investigate my refund. I did inform my Visa company within 2 hours after placing my order that I had made a purchase from Spa Boutique and I was cancelling my order right away. What a very bad experience for sure from this so call company... BUYER BE AWARE!

The same thing that has happened to all of you has happened to me. Ordered my products, got charged $172.00 then got an email saying my products were shipped. 2 weeks later still no products, so I called and the girl said that they were out of stock and it would be another 8- 10 before they got the products in. It's been almost two months and nothing. No one has answered back to my emails.
Answer: Call your credit card company to get a refund and NEVER order from Spa Boutique again. You will not be getting your order! If you need any products, it is better to get them in person from another Spa company. Lesson learned. We all have been had.

Answer: Are you sure you ordered in May? Their website had a notice of suspension in April of 2015 if you tried to log in, and their bricks & mortar boutique was cleared out sometime before that.
