I have been using only Phenomental mascara for a while now and I am very happy with the quality, it doesn't stick together. And the silicone brush, just the way I like it.
I am not one to complain. But I just placed a $75 order with my Representative and I only received $11 in product. She stated that everything I ordered was out of stock or no longer available. This is not the first time this has happened. The past few orders have had something Out of stock or Not Available. I buy a lot of gifts for my loved ones thru Avon. Am I going to have to shop somewhere else? I hope not, but I am losing interest in Avon.

The prices are too high for that quality of products. I was using Avon some time ago. But now I found another brand with the same prices and much better cosmetics.

I've been a loyal Avon customer since the 1960's & newly married up to today & in my seventies. I was always pleased with most of Avon's product's until very recently. The things I liked about it can be summed up as - the perfumes were lovely, lasting, and very distinctive. My complaint - they discontinued my favorites. Something that was really outstanding "way back" in the 1980's & 90"s were the gift items for holidays, for men & so on. They were truly unusual, clever, & reasonable. Additionally, I was very satisfied the makeup, lipstick, eyeliners line. Then they came out with an exceptional line of face creams (the Anew Line), with facial treatments created for the 40/50/ & 60 year old skin, I believe, which I can promise you have kept me looking younger than I am. These are just some of the positives. However, in the last few years, there's been a BIG change and sadly, it's for the worse. They have done away with some of the excellent products I just spoke about. Now, you will find, toothpaste, cleaning supplies, vitamins, and a number of other oddball items ( "oils, scents, CBD stuff, bamboo & charcoal"?!) I really miss Avon... where did it go?
Tip for consumers:
I really don't know how to answer that. I have nothing to suggest.

Which products did I end up using? Too numerous to mention!!

I sold Avon for a couple of years because it was worth it for representatives. I loved their products. Everyone loved the children's items and their collectable items as well as jewelry. Avon is no longer an American company and they sell everything but the kitchen sink. What is with that? The prices are very high and from what I see representatives aren't getting what they once did. Good luck Avon!

Always having a good time with these products, and they come in great packages, and definitely worth the buy
I placed an order for a difficult to find item yesterday, only to see it elsewhere today for a fraction of the price. Avon refuses to cancel the order - despite the fact that it hasn't even processed yet and even the payment is still pending. And I will have to pay the return shipping. My financial institutions won't help either. They cannot decline the purchase even thought it is still pending: I will have to wait and then file a dispute. So not only is Avon happy to gouge me on price, they are happy to waste my time. MAJOR FAIL AVON!
Placed a regular order as a representative, paying as usual by PayPal. Then started getting past due notices. Called customer service who I could barely understand but was told I had to PROVE that I paid. Got with PayPal who was thankfully helpful. But I had to send Avon a physical printout of my payment. Month goes by so I called to find out if I was cleared of the false no-payment, and they said oh yeah it's good. I mean, what?!?! I quit being a rep at that point and now getting promos to rejoin. Are you kidding me?! I'm never going to rep for Avon again and have them screw up their records and come after me for their mistake. Also beside the point is they discontinued good products in favor of high-priced junk no one wants. Good luck Avon, you're dying
I ordered 2 avon foundations, both of them were suitable for oily skin. Well, at least that's what the product information said.
No matter how i applied them, they became cakey after 2-3 hours and caused me breakouts.
Oh, this brand is cool. The red lipstick is especially good. Its color is so juicy and tempting :) I like their products.
I like Avon because it comes right to your door and makes it easy to order and talk to the representative about their large inventory of colors.
Made a purchase of $130 never got my products call customer service many times got a refund and never got my credit back at first was told to wait that the refund take time then after more than a month was told i could not get my money back bcause it was more than 40 days. Very frustrating
I started using this cosmetics recently. They have very nice body sprays with nice scent. Now, I tried Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick, I chose a Candy Red one. Its only $11. I like it because you do not need to use it every hour. The color is really string.
After 14 years of selling, I am so extremely disappointed in Avon right now. All this new c r a p at triple the prices. Im losing customers like crazy. All their favorite items are disappearing and I have nothing to replace them with that they can or want to afford. Seriously Avon, what are you thinking?!?
Avon has become too pricey for most. Ever since it was sold out to the Korean company it has changed and not for the better. Most people who have used Avon for decades haven't done so because we want to pay $60 for a 1 oz jar of face cream. I'm a rep and no one wants to buy from me anymore. I can get the same quality drug store creams for half the price.
True, the quality of the product is awesome. Don't feel like comparingit to other companies as I have not only the products of Avon but of others in my bag. What I can't stand about this company is their business networking pholosophy. Women are going crazy about it and they are so arragant when they want you to buy anything. It makes me maaad! The manager can call me several times in a row, day by day starting in the morning. That's an awful thing.
Avon.com is a good website if you don't mind buying products from a company that tests on animals. I bought countless items online and never had any problems with my orders... but now i have a problem with being deceived like countless other people who were unaware of avon not being truthful about their manufacturing or testing practices.
Avon has always advertised itself as being a proud US company that set the standard when it banned animal testing in the 1980's. All this time, people like me have assumed that Avon was a cruelty free company, and purchased products from them thinking we were getting a quality product, but after reading an article that was published today which exposed Avon as well as Mary kay and estee Lauder as liars, I won't buy from them ever again. They have been testing their products on animals all the while their companies were listed on cruelty free shopping lists. I emailed Avon today to tell them they lost me as a customer. Here is a copy of the message i sent them. I copied it on here so that people can learn the truth and spread the word. I am angry about being deceived and I feel that other people will be surprised to find out that they, too, believed Avon to be a better company than it truly is.
Here's what I emailed:
To everyone at AVON,
I found out today after reading an article online that Avon tests on animals and has been doing so for some time, all the while, advertising to be cruelty-free. Do you understand how much this is going to impact your company once the word gets out? I, for one, will not be purchasing ANY more of your products because I can't live with myself knowing that I'm funding a company that is killing innocent creatures needlessly. Throughout my life, I have bought hundreds to maybe even thousands of dollars worth of avon products... my house has Avon stuff everywhere, but now that I know that Avon has been lying to their customers, pretending to be so environmentally conscious and a proud American company, i'm going to shop elsewhere and give my money to companies that don't send their jobs and factories overseas to countries where it's required BY LAW to test on animals.
I have been a vegetarian for almost 20 years, and the whole reasoning behind that is that I CARE! Animals are important to me, and the decision to be aware of what I eat and what I buy should reflect my beliefs. I always research products and companies before I buy things, and I feel deceived that Avon has been on numerous cruelty-free lists for years, yet it was nothing but a lie. I trusted that I was buying from a US company that cared and had set an example when it came to banning animal testing. What a complete let down! It makes me sick to my stomach when I think about how much money I've spent on your products, and all the while my money was used to torture and kill the creatures that I care so much about!
Last winter I emailed you concerning my disgust at seeing the labels on various items of Avon make-up, stating they were made in China. I never received a reply from anyone at Avon. In my gut I had a feeling that something wasn't right as soon as I saw CHINA on my avon products, but most of avon's customers are unaware of this because the "made in" sticker is printed so microscopically and China is not the place of manufacturing for all avon products. Most people assume what Avon sells is made in the USA... I know I did at first, but I started noticing how wrong I was when my foundations, powders, eyeshadows, and lipsticks said MADE IN CHINA! How sickening! After my son's Thomas the tank engine trains were recalled due to the fact that they contained lead paint and came from China, I do not trust Chinese products, period. And when Avon stooped so low as to let China make their products, it just proved the point that all Avon cares about is making their stuff cheap. If you really valued your customers, you wouldn't have allowed them to be exposed to questionably manufactured products from a country that saw nothing wrong with painting toy trains for children with LEAD!
Most people don't know enough about the companies they are buying from, but I receive emails from various animal rights websites and had been sent an article talking about China and how they were making it MANDATORY for all beauty and cosmetics made there to be animal tested. After I read that article, I emailed you at avon, asking why Avon was sending jobs to china, where animal testing is the law, and no one had the decency to even acknowledge my message. In reality, I knew that someone at Avon wouldn't send me a reply, but I also knew that Avon was saying a lot by not saying anything at all.
So thanks, avon, for sending jobs to China, for lying to your customers all this time, and for taking our money and using it to kill animals. I hope that your company suffers once the word is spread about how you lied. Your company's financial suffering is nothing compared to the suffering you've allowed to happen to thousands of animals in the process of lining your pockets with your precious money. Hopefully people will stop buying your products once their eyes are opened to what's been going on with Avon. Your company's reputation is going to go down the drain, and I'm definitely going to spread the word because people should know the truth... Avon doesn't care about the quality of their products, their customers, the environment, animals, or even the USA. All Avon cares about is MONEY.
The only negative thing I have to say about this company is that the shipping takes a bit longer than I thought it would by a day or two, mind you there was a major snow storm. The products are amazing and you can get almost everything makeup you need. I would love to see some plus sized clothing from them especially with how great the quality of their necklaces where. And I how they come out with primers (face, eye, and lip) and setting powders and sprays.
I have two glimmer cream eyeliners. One is greay and another one is blue. Both are very beatiful and help me make my look complete, especially when I go to party.

Avon has a new policy to lie to consumers about their products ingredients. Stay away from their products. If they lie about changing the formula, they may lie about the ingredients in their products. Retinal? Hyaluronic Acid? Avon changed their product formulation on their Anew Clinical Collagen Booster Eye Lift Pro Dual Eye System. I don't care that they changed their formula, but they continually lie about changing the formula in their reviews. I have proof it changed, since I had some old product left over.
The new formula has fragrance added. It is heavier, and irritating to the eye area. I have been using Avon for well over 30 years. Not anymore. They lost a customer for life due to the lies. They also hide any bad comments about their products on Twitter. They are a true snowflake company.
