I had been ordering Phytomer products on-line from Spa Boutique for the past 3 years without incident other than usually waiting ~1 month for my shipment! Living in Nova Scotia, I would allow this slow return although I would always find my credit card was immediately debited for whatever I needed. I recently had placed an order on November 11/2014 and was told Spa Boutique was experiencing an abnormally high volume of orders and were experiencing an website problem so I have been patiently awaiting my $565 order arrival. After the Holidays, I started to email politely about when I might expect my order to be shipped with no reply. Finally I emailed again last week and finally got a reply that said my order would shipped express last week? Guess what... no shipment and then I decided to start calling almost daily All attempts to speak to the manager( always in a meeting!) or the accounts manager ( always not there at that point)were put off, each with an assurance that someone would call me back about my order or refund. Again... No calls. Finally April 30/14 my account was blocked and I was directed to my credit card company in hopes of a refund recovery of my funds. I won't hold my breath on that one! Buyer Beware! Please don't get caught up in this trap! There are plenty of other on-line companies to supply all your skin/hair care needs without supporting these thieves! I expect to hear they have filed for Bankruptcy protection any day now!
Disgruntled and very annoyed in Nova Scotia.

Purchased July 15,214 and received half of my order, after several emails back and forth and every shipment/delivery promise broken. I couldn't do a charge back on my CC cause the time frame has been too long... now toll free numbers don't work and they are no longer responding to my email requests.
Just like everyone else I have been burned, Today the website is promoting a 20% black friday discount on everything!

I wish I could somehow attach this to their site. Ordered aug 3. Over $200.00 of products, money taken from visa right away. It is now aug, 29. After phoning the store, not the contact line, as there mailbox was full, I received an email saying yonka products arriving next week. Still not here. Look on there website. No mention products not available. I am asking for a refund. NOT a STORE CREDIT. Allison N. Vancouver

I'm reading these reviews with a sinking heart... I have ordered from this company for probably ten years and I can only think of twice that I was less than pleased. Until now. I placed a large order ($300) at the end of September, payment was processed immediately, and then nothing. Because of my long history of satisfactory experiences, it wasn't until I realized a month had gone by that I became alarmed. I have now been emailing for several weeks, and have requested my order be cancelled, but there has been no response. I guess I better contact my credit card provide to see what I can do...

I too am waiting for an order placed Aug 22,2014 I was promised delivery but Oct 1 at the latest after I wrote numerous emails complaint & questioning about my order. It is now Oct 8 and still no order, They keep telling me they are working on backorders! Seriously?!

If i could give a zero, i would. I ordered products on July 21,2014. Followed up on order every couple of weeks. Given all sorts of excuses, or no reply at all. Finally, gave up and asked for refund on September 18,2014. Would take 5 business days. By October 10,2014, still no refund. Made complaint with Paypal, but they can't help because it's longer than 45 days days. Disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed formal complaint with BBB. Take my advice, and the others here: STAY AWAY. Wish i had seen the reviews here, before i made my purchase.

FRAUD!

I have received my refund via PayPal. I also saw a review where someone said they were bankrupt and committing fraud by keeping the online business open. When I asked how they knew this they said they used to work there.
So BEWARE!

Horrible horrible horrible! I have the same bad experience. I placed the ordered on October but still not receive any products that is $414. There's nobody answer the phone and no reply from e-mail. Very disappointed and now I have to call my credit card center for the dispute order. And why they still sent out this online promotion to the clients so that they can keep stealing other people money! That is not right! Actually, your company deserve "No Star"!

I'm just like everyone else on this site. I placed my order and paid my money in good faith, but it was misplaced. If I'd read these reviews before ordering I wouldn't have. My order was received and processed July 18,2014 and I'm writing this angry missive on Oct 1,2014. Cannot call anyone nor email anyone at Spa Boutique. I'll be trying to get my money back through my credit card company.

I can only echo the majority of one star reviews. Ordered a birthday gift August 10th. Prepaid, of course, by credit card. After repeated follow ups and considerable email correspondence, still no goods shipped. After 6 weeks or so I asked for them to cancel the order and credit my charge card. They said this would take 6 to 10 business days. After about 15 business days there was no credit put through. I contacted my cardholder who initiated a dispute process. Despite my wishes to cancel this order it was finally shipped about 10 weeks after ordering. I can say, in all honesty, that my customer experience with them is the worst I have ever experienced.

I have ordered many times from Spa Boutique. In the past, it was slow, however, more recently it has become really bad. I placed an order on August 2, and still have not received it. I have called many times... no one answers... and when I get an answer... all they say is "it will be shipped next week. No its not! I have sent almost a dozen nasty emails,,, and no products yet. Will be taking my complaint to the BBB and my credit card company.

I ordered and paid for some items on October 15,2014, and I have never received them. They do not respond to my e-mails, and now they are not taking any phone calls. They keep saying the same thing, that they are so busy with orders that they cannot take any phone calls. Buyer beware, this company does not deliver.

I, too have been waiting for a refund that was promised in July. I think that I will spend the time equivalent of the money spreading the word about their dishonesty and inexcusable unresponsiveness. My order was placed in June and only after waiting a month and then emailing for a status was I advised that it could not be fulfilled and a refund was promised on July 22,2014. After allowing two or three cycles on my credit card, I sent a reminder email. I was copied in on an internal email to Ingrid or similar name to follow-up.

In response to my email of today, I received an out of office reply which stated that they had an unusually high volume of orders... incompetence, dishonesty it doesn't matter. I don't have my order or my money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

If I could give them negative stars I would! A year and a half ago I ordered products that came quickly - all was great. I placed another order back in August and after a month I began inquiring about when it would be shipped (my credit card was charged immediately after the order was placed). Each time I received a response such as 'I spoke to my shipper and you will receive the order in 6 to 12 business days' or 'we have so many orders that we are filling the older orders first'. I became angry and asked for the order to be cancelled and was told there would be a '15 to 20 day' wait for the accounting department to process the refund. I had enough and asked for some advice on how to respond to this continuous run around from a relative who is an attorney. The next thing you know, I received an email from this company telling me my package had been shipped - with a tracking number!

Lets just see what happens next!

I can't even give these people one star but I am forced to. They will NOT give me my refund. It seems like their accountant Ingrid De la Pena (*******@spaboutique.ca) is afraid to answer emails. Their voice mailbox is always full. This is the worst, most expensive mistake I have made with online ordering. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM…a slightly more expensive dealer in these products is worth it. Give business to people with integrity.

I am so annoyed right now. This company is a joke and I wish I googled and read reviews prior to ordering. I have ordered in the past with no issue; however, I ordered at the end of November and it still hasn't shipped. There is NO phone number and I have sent multiple emails with ZERO response. I am currently on hold to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

I had ordered from Spa Boutique over a year ago and had not had a problem receiving my order. As a result I failed to research them when I placed an order in January. What a terrible mistake! They charged me right away and I never received the ordered product. I contacted them by email and they never responded! I was lucky enough to contact my credit card company in the nick of time. They reversed the charge and launched an investigation. I encourage you all to do the same. Lesson learned: I will always check the reviews whenever I order online even if I have used the company before! Learn from my lesson!

BRUTAL company to deal with
September 17, 2014

BRUTAL company to deal with. Would have given them a 0 star rating if I could. Purchased $125 worth of product, credit card charged immediately, and now almost 2 months later, nothing! Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. I've probably called the customer service line 85 times with no answer and a full voice mailbox every time. Only twice did I actually get through to anyone and this person informed me that my order was due to ship out next week. Next week comes and goes and nothing. Have sent multiple emails and they only responded to one with the same " it's due to ship out next week". The company re-launched their website on August 21,2014 and since then, I'm no longer able to log into my account. BRUTAL! With all of these similar reviews, my only conclusion is *INTERNET SCAM* I've since contacted my credit card company and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Just bummed I didn't read these reviews before I purchased from Spaboutique.ca

Poor customer service

Poor customer service.

I have been a repeat customer at Spa Boutique, but I am sad to say that their customer service is getting worse. I recently placed an order, and after more than a week and half, it has not yet shipped. When I contacted the company to ask when my order would be shipped, I received a reply saying that it would take up to 21 business days before it was shipped. By the time the order arrives, it could be more than a month since my order date---and I am located in the same country. I can order from overseas and receive my order more quickly!

The thing that upset me the most was the complete lack of customer service. When I told the company representative that I wished to cancel my order, I was told that I would not receive a refund---only a credit note.

I am very sorry that I ordered from this company, and will not do so again. Buyer beware!

Ordered Obagi products from this site last Aug. 30,2014, I haven't receive any yet until now Sept. 20th, 2014. I sent an email once, they said they're experiencing backlogs due to migrating platforms, etc... I called but nobody answers. I used to order at essentialdayspa.ca, but they don't have it in stock. I should have read the reviews first.
