I am 6 weeks into a no show order with spa boutique.ca. When I began to wonder whether the site is actually legitimate or just a front to get your credit information, I came across reviews on this site. Given everyone else's review, I am beginning to think I wasted my money on this order. I'm now hoping my credit card is safe in the hands of a company with such alarming business and customer service practices.
I strongly urge everyone with a poor to downright horrid experience with this company to launch a complaint with the BBB, Better Business Bureau. If I see no resolve in the next few weeks I am going to do just that. I have also contacted a National Canadian consumer 'watchdog' show - http://bc.ctvnews.ca/2.1141/steele-on-your-side. While one complaint may go nowhere, 15-20 might save others from experiencing the same frustration.
Ordered a product from this company on Feb. 2 and my Visa card was charged Feb. 3. I called the company at the beginning of March to check the status of my order and their phone number was disconnected. I emailed the company and received a generic "out of office" response. I found another email address on their website and sent another email. I finally got a response telling me they are in the process of setting up a new store and will ship my product asap. I emailed them back and asked that they just refund my Visa card because their service is unacceptable. Their response was that they don't have my Visa card information for the "protection of my privacy". I contacted Visa and explained everything and they reversed the charges with no problem. Within two days, I received an email from Spa Boutique telling me my product has been shipped directly from the company that makes the product I ordered because they are no longer carrying that line. This was 6 days ago and I'm still waiting to receive my product. I wasn't given a tracking number, so who knows if it will actually come... but at least Visa reversed the charges so it doesn't really matter! Worst company I have ever dealt with...
I have reported this company to the British Columbia Better Business Bureau. I placed my order in August and have been struggling with this company to first get my products, then to process a refund when they couldn't deliver my products ever since.
Their website is still open for business and sending emails about sales and promotions. Please do not order from this company!
I also order from Spa Boutique on Sept. 22nd and still have not received my order ($172.00). I have tried numerous times to email them to no avail. I finally found a phone number that works: *******114 and left a message. The voice said that she was the owner but if enquiring about an online order to please email. Yeah, right! That doesn't do any good.
Terrible company and will never order from them again! I will be going through my credit card company to try and get my money back and also putting in a complaint with the BBB.
Don't waste your money, unless you enjoy having your credit card charged while waiting FOREVER to receive your products (IF they get around to shipping them at all). Oh, and also don't expect any replies to your e-mails. Good luck if you get tired of waiting for a response and decide to call - expect a full voicemail box. And if they "forget" to send you a product you ordered, or if they tell you the item is "back ordered", don't expect your money back. Oh no, that was YOUR fault. Even though you never physically received the product you'll have to make due with a store credit so that you'll be forced to go through all this bullsh** with them again. Trust me, if you're already caught up in this nightmare of unbelievably bad customer service do yourself a favour, take an aspirin and contact your credit card company to have the charge reversed. I have been a loyal customer till now and will not give out their name of business to anyone again, as in the past I have a lot. It has been 2 months since I placed order and have not reiceved anything, not even a phone call to explain. I don't mind waiting if you contact me and let me now. But I have to do all contacting, with usually no response... really Spa Boutique... Business move and change all the time but it dosnt affect your phone or some manners...
Don't order from them! I report my case to BBB and this spa owner Nancy Mudford did reply and said the same things that according to their policy there's no refund but then she said the settlement will put through to my credit card anyway. However, I did not receive any money back. So, what is the point she said she will refund the money but not. I check her facebook and she look great and put up new look. How come she has money to make herself look good and not refund money to us. This company still sending automatic marketing e-mail to keep get more money from the other people but not sending the products. She need to stop what she is doing now.
I found the same thing as all the other reviews-I place an order and I have to wait weeks (not the 6 to 12 days as advised by spa boutique) to get my order. You can place a call but don't expect a call back and you can send an e-mail but don't expect a reply. I am now locked out of my account, so I cannot track my current order. Their system says that my password and e-mail address doesn't exist. If I don't receive my products soon - that I paid about $120 for - I too will go directly to the BBB. Screw calling them just to receive a credit. I don't intend to do business with them ever again! Even though I like shopping on-line, it's just not worth the hassle. I advise that you purchase what you want at to store or switch to another product that you can buy at the store.
Too much explaining the problems without fixing them. I waited over six weeks for my order and NOT once could I ever talk to a 'live' customer service rep.
Thanks to PAYPAL I finally got a full refund and will never order from Spa Boutique again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered $224 worth of products on October 24,2014. Never received anything. I tried emailing and calling, and never got a response back. I dont even receive the mass emails that others receive, giving updates on their supposedly order statuses! I contacted the Better Business Bureau and Spa Boutiques response was that they dont offer refunds, so I can not get my money back! WHAT? They havent even supplied the products, so how can my request to have my money taken from me be considered a refund? I CALL IT THEFT! The owners name is Nancy Mudford, if this will help anyone in getting anywhere with having their money returned to them. Count me in on any action that is taken against this sham of an operation!
If you roll the dice and order from this company, make sure you know how long you have after an order to dispute charges with your credit card company. I bought four items from Spa Boutique and my order was shipped late, minus one of the items. Apparently it was on "backorder", but at no time was this ever reflected on the site, either before my order or after. I had to email them to find out what happened to the missing item. I was told I would receive a refund. I waited a week and received nothing. I politely emailed them several times over the course of the next month and a half, but never got my money back. With one day to spare, I was finally forced to file a chargeback with my credit card company. I got my money back from my credit card company (NOT Spa Boutique) the next day. I will never order from Spa Boutique again.
Ordered twice from this website and was happy with the vast selection of different brands they offer. Fast & free shipping is a bonus as well. On one of my orders, an item was out of stock. However, no one from the warehouse contacted me regarding the out of stock item. Upon receiving the parcel, opening it and realizing one item was missing... my initial reaction was WTFFFF to see one item missing. Then I finally realized it was out of stock only when I saw the item crossed off on the attached invoice. More effective communication skills should have been implemented to lessen the unpleasant surprise to the customer. Contacting the customer via email regarding the out of stock item would have been nice.
Ordered something on July 19th and received most of it although it took forever to get here. Still missing a $16.00 item and they keep promising to send it but so far, nothing. Emails get the out of office reply and a phone call resulted in a full mailbox so I couldn't leave a message. I guess I'm lucky I only lost the $16.00.
I would never ever recommend this site to anyone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a mineral makeup and brush and payment went through. I went away on a business trip and expected my products to arrive by the time I got home. 3 weeks later nothing had arrived. I called and they said my product was on back order. I would have appreciated an email or notification call letting me know this. The customer service person saids it would be another 2 weeks. I said forget about it and refund my money. The customer service person said that it was policy to give a credit rather than refund and I said that that would not work for me because I need my product immediately and wanted to go buy somewhere else. He finally agreed but now it has been a month and I still have not received my refund. No one is answering my calls or emails. Worst customer service ever.
Terrible customer experience... placed order and had my credit card charged on Nov 22 2014 but did not receive any follow-up for 3 weeks as to the status of my order (no info on site saying products were out of stock etc. either), Received mass email stating that orders placed in November would be sent by December 11. Didn't happen. Have sent 6 emails to customer service with NO response at all. The company disconnected their phone and don't use social media so there is no way to get ahold of them. Have received several more mass emails stating they are sorry and hoping to get their shipments sent soon. Have never had this poor of an online shopping experience ever. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY - complete scam.
I ordered $287 worth of products on October 10th and it is now November 6th and I still have not received the order. My Emails are not being answered and the phone number they provide cannot be completed as dialed. The long distance mailbox is full and I had to get the direct number from Telus as the toll free number would not work. I will be calling my credit card company with this issue.
I am so frustrated. I ordered 130 dollars worth of pregnancy belly cream from them Dec 14. Never received anything and its February. They are shut down. And are still taking orders and charging credit cards. They dont ever reply to emails its always an automated reply... theyre phone nunber is disconnected... they just sent me an email this morning with a fake tracking number. That diesnt exist so i think my order is shipped. Im so fed up. I called my credit card company and explainedeverything. They credit my money and put a note and red flag just incase spaboutique tries to take the money again.

I ordered products worth $ 500.00 in September 2014 and its now December 2014 and nothing has been sent. After many phone calls and emails I submitted a complaint with the Better Bussiness Bureau this is what i got;

I ordered 150 dollars of product on September 27th and today is December 1st and I still have not received. I contacted the spa boutique October 28th and at first i got an email with a little bit of an attitude saying that they indicate 9-21 business days. I replied that it was 22 business days and then i got an apology saying it would be another 9- 21 business days. That was on October 28th. I have had no shipment and i live in the same city as the company. I have ordered from them for years without an issue. Something is not going well with this company and I fear i have lost my money. I receivved an email from the company today advertisiing cyber monday and free delivery and 15% off and when i called the number int he advertisement - it was "not in service".
Same experience... ordered, charged and NO product. I was a long time customer. Up until September they were terrific but now they don't respond to any emails. Lost $200.
Answer: Call your credit card company to get a refund and NEVER order from Spa Boutique again. You will not be getting your order! If you need any products, it is better to get them in person from another Spa company. Lesson learned. We all have been had.

Answer: Are you sure you ordered in May? Their website had a notice of suspension in April of 2015 if you tried to log in, and their bricks & mortar boutique was cleared out sometime before that.
