Company seemed great so I put $300 down and got my impression kit pretty fast at End of February before all the shutdown stuff. I sent them pictures of the practice putty impressions to see if I was doing it correctly beginning of March and they still to this day have not gotten back to me. They took my first months payment the following month so in total they have taken $360 from me. They will not answer texts, calls, emails, or messages on FB messenger. I don't know if I will ever get my money back stay away from this company.
I really wish I took the review more serious. After like two months of sending the initial trays back and forth, I finally got my retainers. After the 5th set I realized that my front tooth simply was not shifting, I had never had crooked front teeth so it actually made me look worse. I reached out to customer service over and over and never got a call back. That's what I get for paying up front thinking I would save some money. Anyway, don't do it. It doesn't work
Spent $1500 here back in February still have gotten my Aligners so I asked for a refund and they refused (going against their own return policy). They stopped production of their Aligners but are still taking new customers who'll end of paying but will not receive their Aligners. Save your money and go somewhere else
Placed an order Wednesday, January 22,2020 2:32:20 PM PST. Smilelove Order # = F*******, in fact. They accepted my $1345. 00. They did send an impression kit and we started. Then the pandemic hit.
I was patient for quite some time, but enough is enough.
They claim to still be in business to this day, February 2,2021. They have refused to refund my $, are not providing services (which I would not want to accept now anyway), and refused to respond to a Utah BBB inquiry in the matter.
This is not the behavior of a company operating in good faith.
I have been trying to get ahold of someone at Smilelove for months. I'm a customer, received my retainers but not all of them. They are missing the retainer and once I was done with the last one, my teeth were not what was agreed upon in the pre-treatment. Like everyone else, trying to figure out what to do but feel like I'm out well over a thousand dollars.
Please do not subscribe to their service. At this time we don't even if they're still in business. They will ask you to send impressions of your teeth over and over again but they will never send your aligners. Meanwhile they already took your money and disappeared. If you ask to cancel they will refuse to send a refund and you will never hear from them. We are trying to put together a group to get the authorities involved since it's basically a financial crime they're committing.**** please stay away from that company while you still can*****
This guy, David Frazier has created a ponzi scheme with smilelove. They don't send the product, they don't return correspondence. They keep your money and shut you out of customer service. Disgusting and unethical
I completed my treatment May 24,2020 (paid in full July 2019, received Aligners Sept 2019).
My bite is now very off, which makes it extremely difficult to chew or speak properly. Two sets of incisors, and one set of canines come together (clicking when I try to bite down), my molars do not touch at all! My teeth are now a mess, and they are providing me with no information, or even acknowledgement for that matter. I have attempted to contact customer service 9 times, so far.

I just got the impression kit but I didn't like it and thought of canceling and getting a refund. I kept contacting them and no response from them. They don't have any customer care service. It's a real scam and I am so disappointed in paying so much money at a time without receiving any service. I am thinking of fixing my teeth for so many years and it's such an emotional thing for me, as I have been having crooked teeth for so many years. I finally started earning and thought of fixing them. It's so unfortunate that this company taking advantage of people.
Paid $1400 up front for full service, received the fitting kit and sent it back. Never received a retainer. Emailed dozens of times and never got a reply.
I got scammed out of $1400 and nothing to show for it. No way to contact them, and nothing can be done.
I started my aligner process with Smilelove in January, having paid $1495 up front. First few months seemed fine, they worked with me on getting the dental impressions right. Then they stopped the process during Covid shutdown. When I checked back in May they said they were trying to get their business started again and would update me soon. But I never heard back and when I tried additional times this summer to get a status report, they no longer responded. I see the website is still operational and they appear to be taking new customers while existing customers are dropped and lose a substantial investment. If you are looking for aligners, go elsewhere!
I started the process of getting my daughter aligners July 31,2019. After five or six tries her impressions were never "quite right" and she always had to "give it one more try". This was my first clue it was a scam. Emailed almost weekly after we sent in the last impression kit (late Jan or early Feb 2020). No response. Finally got an email stating that they weren't fulfilling orders but were not in a position to issue refunds. WTF! That's because it's a scam. After repeatedly trying to get a hold Smilelove, I found a Facebook group called Smilelove screwed me. Found out if I had proper documentation I could a refund from Affirm. I emailed Affirm and was able to get them to cancel the loan and refund what I had paid. If you financed through Affirm contact them, they might help. They too are a little flaky, but it's worth a shot.
I ordered my impression kit back in December and received my impression kit in February and sent them back in March. However, it's now been 5 months that I've been waiting on my aligners, and 8 months since I submitted my initial order and I've yet to receive my aligners. What's worse is that there has been no follow ups or updates on when I can expect to receive them, or any reasonable level of communication given the situation. This was a huge financial investment for me that I took with the understanding that in 8 months I would have completed the aligners kit. The fact that I haven't received the aligners, or any type of transparency or apologies or ability to be compensated or refunded in some way for this inconvenience is completely unacceptable. I've never been more disappointed in a service.
I have been dealing with trying to have the charge from my account removed by my bank. Yet the company keeps saying they done nothing wrong! When that isn't the case at ALL! I received nothing but the imprecation kit! No follow ups no contact no nothing. And when you ask for your money back because the site states a money back promise, I got no answer and now I'm having to jump though many hoops just to get something done about it! Do not waste your time or money and dam sure don't be the idiot like I was and pay in full! I REPEAT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! ITS A SCAM!
I decided to use smile love because it was affordable and convenient. I read the reviews and most of them were positive except for a few that I figured had made poor impressions or didn't wear their retainers religiously. I was wrong. I'm left with a bite that rocks side to side. Sure my smile is "straighter" but not as nice as they projected. The aligners wouldn't fit correctly, always popping off in the back if the front was set correctly or vis versa. The aligners also caused gum rescission so $2000 and a gum graft later I've started Invisalign $5000 and I am using a real orthodontist. I'm on my second set of Invisalign and can already tell the difference in the quality of the product. Oh, and Smile love ghosted me when I tried to contact them about issues I was having. Told me I should be using the chewies more and that I should pay another $1500 for their finishing kit.
Tl; dr You get what you pay for.
Took forever to get my original order and to get responses back. I also ordered two sets of retainers. One they completely forgot about and have still not received nor has anyone responded to my emails about when I will get it (it's been 7 months now). Pay the extra money and use any other company
This company is a $#*!ing joke. I could not be more livid with the service I have received... or should I say lack of. I have been attempting to speak to someone for over a month and received NOTHING. My aligners do not fit my teeth. They made several of the teeth way too big and uneven I can't even push them on completely. I am going on 8.5 months of wearing these aligners and the whitening kit I was supposed to get with my purchase has still never showed up, of course no one will answer me on the status of this either. It took over a month for my impressions to get sent and then about 5 long months until I finally received my aligners. Trying to get ahold of anyone regarding anything is impossible. DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!
Payed in full Nov 2019. After not approving the treatment plan I was promised a refund according to their policy. That's when they startEd ignoring me. I've complained through the BBB. Also I continue to contact Smilelove but still no refund or response. They are the definition of hypocrisy and a disgrace to business everywhere.
The company seems legit until you need help with a retainer that simply snaps in your hand. It was amazing how quickly I was told "this doesn't happen" and pay the $99 for a replacement. I felt bad after, so yes, I ordered a new one and the payment came out immediately from my account but it's been 20 days since and I haven't heard anything back about when my retainer will ship. To me, this is crap business management because now my teeth have been shifting back and no one seems to care now that the payment has gone through. This company seems to leave you in the dust after payment and is not there to assist you properly when you need a replacement product, which can happen very easily. I would recommend any other company that doesn't leave your side when their product fails. Shameful business and I regret it.
I would be EXTREMELY cautious in choosing SmileLove as your provider. I started this process in Aug of 2019. To this day I have not received my aligners. They lost our first impression kit and after sending in the second one I still have nothing. I requested to cancel and a refund. After this request customer service has stopped responding surprise surprise. Per their own words they are currently experiencing internal problems.
Answer: On Sep 10 I received confirmation that my sons impressions were accepted. We are supposed to receive the aligners 4-5 weeks (4-6 or 6-8 depending on who answers you.) on Oct 25 I asked for ETA and was told they should be done soon. NOW on Nov 20, (only AFTER I inquired) am told somehow our aligners didnt ship with the "others" and that we will have them in 1-2 MORE WEEKS! WTH? I paid up front in full and someone better be accountable. Im am still unsatisfied today.
Answer: No. They owe money to hundreds of people and have not refunded any of them. File a complaint with the BBB, the Attorney General in Utah, as well as the Attorney General in your state.

Answer: Received the impression kit and got doctors feedback quite quickly. Once I paid full upfront with credit card, three months later and I am still waiting to receive the trays. BUYER BEWARE!
Answer: No! They won't even answer me. From what I see they don't plan to refund us at all. They also show time limits now which with COVID and their lack of contact, have long since passed. Wish we could do a lawsuit.
Answer: Yes it was hard to get the impressions right. One person said their fine another said no. It's a very slow process and it seems like you have to deal with a different employee each time. I asked for a refund and was told I was entitled to one, but then got no response. It's been four months now and I've had to file a complaint with the BBB.
