I have had my old retainers for over a decade, so I was looking forward to a new set.
I went through 8 combined molds to get 2 different sets of retainers, with none of them fitting properly. I am beyond disappointed and furious. The last set didn't even sit on my teeth properly, and I made sure to follow all of the instructions and videos as best as I could.
I wore the better fitting set overnight. In the morning, my teeth were still sore and my old retainer (which again, I've worn for a decade) did not fit properly. I don't know what they did, but they did not deliver. And now I'm being charged $20 for what was advertised as "100% satisfaction guaranteed" (the fee is in the fine print). This process took 4 months, wasted several days of back-and-forth, making multiple molds after wearing my retainer, and now $20. If you have had and have worn a retainer, save yourself and don't use them
My son seems to lost retainers constantly. Got sick of making appointments and costing $300+ every time. I order everything online so why not retainers? We have now ordered 3 different times and been really happy with the quality and fit every time. The saving money is great, but the convenience is the best part for me. Place a new order and a week later new retainers show up.
My son lost his retainer just after having them for 3 months. We moved an our dentist was over an hour and a half away. Looked online and decided it was worth a chance. The impression kit came right away. Send back and in about 10 days I got the retainers back. They fit perfect and would have be a quarter of the price. Will reorder a spare set
I needed a new night guard and have a new dentist. He wanted $850 for a new guard. I found sportingsmiles and was skeptical that a guard for an eight of the price would be good, but figured it's worth trying. I did have to take the impression 2 times, and the 1st time was my fault for mixing the putty too much and getting hard before I could fully bite down. I send a photo and the next day I get an email telling me to send everything back in. Then, I got an email that they received my kit back and it was going to the lab. Then only 4 days later I got an email that it was being shipped. It was a lot faster than what I was expecting.I tried it on and was very surprised at how well it fit. It's just like the one I got from my dentist. I have told a bunch of people about sportingsmiles. Easy, and so much cheaper than going to the dentist. I am very happy and will be a long-time customer.
I have been ordering from SportingSmiles for 4 years now. The retainers fit perfect and its so easy to get new one. I just login to my account place an order and a couple of weeks later I get a new set of retainers. I figure I have saved about $1500 using sportingsmiles. Basic a free vacation over what it would have cost me to go to the dentist.
Customer service is the absolute worst. They messed up my retainer twice and are making ME pay for the replacement tray. Unreal
Update: These are some of the most dishonest people I've ever dealt with.
It took months to get warranty coverage applied and it was only applied after I left negative feedback regarding their treatment of my issue.
They sent the wrong size retainer (children's) and blamed me for user error.
After months of back and forth they finally sent the new kit but when I returned them they told me it was outside the 90 day warranty.
Criminally misleading, avoid at all costs
I sent my impressions in years ago and the retainers fit snug/the way they should.just reordered twice for loose fitting retainers and they still are putting my teeth out of alignment. Hope I can help someone save time and money by not going through this company
I have purchased over 4 times and have been pleased each time. The first time I did impressions customer service helped and the video tutorial really helps it is simple. Sporting smiles retainers and whitening system has kept my smile beautiful. The owner is professional and provides quality product. I do not work for sporting smiles nor do I know anyone that works there. Just a happy consumer.
I got two guards, Dual Laminate Teeth Grinding Day Guard, and Flexible Super Hard Night Guard (Back Cut). I had used the Dual Laminate one primarily but then I had been grinding so hard I separated the layers. It was still useable, I just had to nest the layers together before putting it on. Then my guard went missing so I started using the back cut one and I like that one so much more. It feels more hardy. That one I have now reordered.
The process to make your own impressions wasn't easy (I had originally wanted bottom guards) but the team at Sporting Smiles was helpful and kind, even sent me extra putty when my first couple tries were flops. I ended up switching to a top guard because that was easier for me to do.
Overall, good customer service and more affordable than the dentist office. I would highly recommend.
My husband bought bleach trays. He did not know that bleach trays are supposed to be scalloped otherwise the bleach BURNS the gums so badly they cannot be used. After a couple of months of him trying and failing to be able to bleach his teeth I looked at the trays and told him what the problem was.
I sent a note to their "warranty" department. Liz sent a canned email response about retainers that had nothing to do with the message sent to her. The company would NOT accept a return, repair them, or replace them. Ripoff.
Also, their brand of bleach is disgusting. It foams in the trays, bubbles up, and burns the gums regardless of what kind of tray is used (my trays from the dentist are scalloped and I could not tolerate their nasty bleach).
I'm guessing all the positive reviews are faked.
AVOID at all costs.
Ordered SportingSmiles teeth whitening kit off Amazon and was really surprised on how great the quality was. I used it for 2 weeks and my teeth are noticeably whiter. I got sick of paying over and over for whitening strips. Its going to save me a lot just to buy refill on gel. It's a lot easier to use as well.
Let me know what I can do for you
Terrible experience, I was customer which used their services for few years and now it became terrible, retainers breaks easily and not worth the money. With my last order been waiting for my retainers for 3 month and it was never delivered
The worse customer support and quality of product, would never recommend
Best night guard
Been ordering from SportingSmiles for a couple of years. The night guards are a great fit. I have 2 different types and love both. So easy to just order online and not have to go to the dentist. Great customer service.
Used them for many years until this past month they denied 4 of my impressions without notifying me, poor customer service, no good explanation of why was denied. A complete waste of 2 months, because they do not communicate neither care you are waiting for your night guard. Find someone else!
My top retainer (from dentist) lasted over a decade but then broke, so I got sporting smiles since it was so less costly. I didn't realize the lack of durability. Only 3 years later it broke - I have no idea when or hell (meanwhile, my bottom retainer is still perfectly fine) and sporting smiles takes a week to get back to me to tell me they can't do anything:
Hi,
We are unable to assist you as we would no longer have your impressions on file, as we only keep them on file for one year. Our warranty period is 30-days from the final ship date.
Lame AF! I won't be using them again!
LASTED 3+ YEARS! 3 Years is a great amount of time to have a retainer. The life span of a clear retainer is about 1 year. If you google life span of clear retainer you will see that. That last molar can always just be trimmed off the retainer can still be used for a while. Not sure what you expected us to do on an order over 3+ year retainer order. This should be a good review on getting a great fitting retainer that lasted 3 years for less than 100$.
My retainer cracked and my dentist retired. Called around and couldn't get in for a while. Went online and found SportingSmiles. Paid extra to get it faster, but got my retainers in 2 weeks. The fit was perfect and was a quarter the cost of the quotes I was getting.
Sporting Smiles has an outstanding customer service team. I have been very satisfied working them. My first sets of upper and lower dental impressions were low quality, so they sent me replacement sets free of charge. When I got good impressions, the lower set got lost in the mail. They were more than happy help me out and facilitate a fair arrangement. Their customer service team is on it!
They take a long time to process your moulds to make them into retainers. My impressions were rejected 3 times, then I called them because I was biting into the moulds via the instructions properly and had them approved. Probably a money steal for them. My upper retainer broke and it hasn't even been a full year, cheap material.
Purchasing retainers from sporting smiles was a great decision. They are AMAZING quality, affordable and most importantly the support staff here is phenomenal. Anytime I call they are happy to assist with my needs. Thank you guys!

The soft night guard is legit. As someone who has paid a lot for dentists to make custom night guards, I only wish I had discovered Sporting Smiles earlier.
I originally ordered the hard night guard, thinking it's what I needed I did not like it at all. I sent it back, it got lost in the mail and Evan quickly rectified the situation by sending me a soft night guard, which arrived within two days in the middle of the pandemic in New York.
The team is great and if you have to contact customer service I'd suggest calling them directly to avoid delays.
I just got my night guard today and it was great. Read the reviews on here and figured I had to tell my store. I called first and they helped me over the phone to pick the right guard. I paid with paypal just in case there was a problem.
Got impression kit right away. Was easy to do. Shipped back and got my night guards in 2 weeks. Haven't had real time to test it yet but seems really good. The fit is perfect. I normally don't write reviews, but figured I had to since there was a couple other bad ones.
Answer: No, our products will not straighten your teeth. We sell retainers that will prevent your teeth from moving any further. Thank you, SportingSmiles
Answer: No, it shouldn't be an issue. We have many customers that use our impression process with veneers. Just to be 100% sure one trick is to use coconut oil, put a little on the veneers and it will prevent any sticking.
Answer: The price and their amazing customer service. They are a much safer choice then other places.
Answer: Yes. I emailed them at 8 at night and they responded early the next morning. Email is the best way, I never had to call. They were always super quick.
Answer: Totally legit. I'm 17 and managed to get through the whole process without problem by myself.
Sporting Smiles has a rating of 2.9 stars from 65 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Sporting Smiles ranks 3rd among Dental Products sites.

We have tried to warranty your order twice for you. Your order was a reorder, so your teeth may have shifted since the first order. With all our products, we have a warranty and could have switched your order to a new one or issued a refund. Instead, you just decided to keep them provide a bad review. We always work with our customers just as we did with you. We just need to be notified of an issue instead of finding out via a bad review.
