I order lots of food from delivery services and few times I had a terrible orders with different problems. In skip, I got two times rotten, spoiled products and they initiated only 50% of refund when it supposed to me whole refund because I just threw away this garbage. You should never use it.
Tonight we had a gathering of 3 people and were eagerly anticipating a delivery from Skip…instructions were sent as to protocol advising lobby code for door and to please knock and leave order. Courier did not use code but allowed a building resident to let him in and so no notification. Went to tracking and realized delivery had been made and likely sat at the door for a good length of time. To add insult to injury the food was horrendous, cold and overall experience very disappointing. Will likely go with Door Dash next time.
You guys have been steeling people's food a lot matter fact it's been going on for awhile I caught you steeling and you blocked me for ordering refunded my money in skip credits then ghost me lol it's okay I'll make sure this company falls I'll make sure people know that you scam them you lie. There are fatal flaws in the business practices of Skip the Dishes. 1. You have to pay full price when you place an order, but if an incomplete order is delivered, refunds are very difficult to get. 2. Apparently their delivery drivers do not check that an order is complete when they pick it up from the restaurant, so the customer is left holding a half-empty bag. 3. When contacted about the problem, Skip does NOT provide clear directions about how to fix the problem. Customer persistence results in Skip ending the communication.

They do not know how to treat they're customers when things go wrong in an order. It's unacceptable and they need to figure it out. We had food say delivered twice in 1 week. And never actually was delivered. After an hour and a half of waiting the driver got a flat tire.
First and last time using this service. Received completely wrong order and could not get 3 different "customer service" reps to understand what my problem was. Was promised a refund, but what I wanted was my food (and reading other reviews I'm not over optimistic about that refund ever coming).

After an hour of waiting, driver turned of his location. Food didn't arrive. I'm sent a receipt for something we didn't even receive! Absolutely garbage! Then didn't say what happened to my order and offered a refund in their stupid points system! What a joke!
Order was supposed to take 15-20 min, driver kept taking on new orders, driving all over town AFTER picking up my order, took over an hour and my food was cold, contacted support and the left the chat before any help was given. Finally got a refund after another 30 min waiting for support staff to get back to me. Horrible service from both the drivers and support staff. Would never use their service again
I'm so beyond angry at the services I've been receiving from skip in Cornwall Ontario. Everytime I try to make an order I get a call saying something I ordered is unavailable and the only other replacement option is also unavailable. I do not want to wait up to 10 days to receive my money back and skip credits are not worth my time and money. Food always comes cold, takes a long time and the customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.
I ordered from Cheesecake Cafe and a driver named Tammy in Calgary, Alberta did not deliver my food once. It was crazy, i was staring at my phone (I was hungry) and it said she buzzed for like half a second. She hung up, I thought she would buzz again, she didn't, so I waited, eventually I came downstairs, and Tammy could not be found! Can you believe, the driver stole my food. If you are using skip the dishes, make sure you pay cash so the driver HAS to come and get the money. I got a refund but the people on the chat can only give you a refund or skip credits. This is something that needs to be shared with management or the owners. Stealing from customers is unacceptable.
Can not trust the couriers. I have proof of them stealing receipts from customers when they order from a restaurant with a points program. Skip refuses to take responsibility. So if you want to order from a business that allows theft, enjoy skip... I suggest calling the restaurants directly to see if they have delivery, if not, pick it up. Skip is terrible.
Also, with all the dietary restrictions these days, skip SUCKS for finding restaurants that are vegan, gluten free... etc.
Your policy that if my full order doesn't show up you cant get a driver to retrieve the rest is absurd. Your driver missed an entire bag of food. We were told you would refund the missing items and i could re order. So the stuff that arrives gets cold while we wait and the perfectly fine food waiting to be picked up goes to waste on top of the restaurant losing $$ on a refund and tossed food. Not to mention food waste is already a big problem and you enact policies that contribute to it. Honestly we were already considering not using you guys anymore with communities having more options, community minded options. So with this absurd experience we will not be ordering through you again nor recommending you. A serious disappointment.
Delivery drivers obviously are taking more than one order, following them on the tracking map and watching them drive in the opposite direction f which ends up with me getting stone cold inedible food, or there's no drivers available which results in stone cold inedible food after waiting over an hour for a normally 10 minute delivery. Skip the dishes is poorly managed. The restaurants end up with poor reviews because the delivery service is awful. Something must change. The photo is of the tracking map which tells me the burger and fries that I ordered over 30 minutes ago is still over 30 minutes to wait. Absolutely ridiculous!
Driver stole my order! Support was no help said "to bad" we have no record of your order after I sent them screenshots of the confirmation, driver going the opposition direction then it saying "order cancelled" when I didn't cancel it! I WILL NEVER USE SKIP THE DISHES AGAIN THEY ARE RUDE AND STEAL YOUR MONEY AND FOOD!
First order (over $100!) - said it was delivered (I was waiting at the front door) - never came. Had to go through hoops to get a refund instead of a credit. It took several email exchanges
On a subsequent order, it was delivered but no one knocked or rang the bell. When I opened the door to see if they just dumped it and left, there was my order, ripped apart by squirrels. DO NOT USE THEM!
They really need to give the option of zero stars. I just used this app for the last time. I saw the driver pass my driveway 2 times, and never came back with my food and marked it delivered. Asking me to rate the service and food. Then the customer service disconnected with me because I said "$#*!"
Now I got an email saying they will give me skip credit when I never agreed to that. I'm waiting for my refund to my card and will never use this BULL $#*! app ever again. Their driver and workers such and have no sense of customer service. I work a 12 hour shift and and wasted my whole lunch time waiting for the food
The drivers in Fort Mcmurray are $#*!s they don't no how to read where to drop it off to and food is always cold once I get it! My courier name was Jamal! Took a hour to get my order maybe skip should order people with a education and can actually drive, and actually care about there job
Skip offered a 50% refund and thinks that's acceptable. My kids were unable to eat 100% of the order and I wasted my money. When I told them their offer was ridiculous they ended the chat with zero concern for my issue. They lost a customer
SkipTheDishes is full of joke, they stole my money and didn't give an option of delivery. If you have other options use other rather then SkipTheDishes, don't expect any service from them. They are simply their for nothing and forget about the customer service. I need to pay cause of their technical error! Pathetic customer service, pathetic app! Never use SkipTheDishes except if you want to lost your hard earned money!
