I'm sorry to hear your order wasn't what you'd expected. It appears that Skip has consistently fallen short of your expectations as you've had a large number of requests for refunds. Due to this activity, we're not able to offer any type of reimbursement to your account moving forward. Like its my fault the restaurants screwed up the order
Our order was delivered to the wrong address and Skip will only refund 50% of our money so now we have no food and have been ripped off by Skipthedishes
I placed an order for the first time with Skip. When I completed the order with the restaurant, I got an error page. I reloaded the site and my order was still in my cart so I completed it again. This time it worked. While I was watching the delivery screen I noticed my address had been replaced with an address that had nothing to do with me. I messaged the driver 5 times and he never responded. I tried to contact Skip but the only contact I found was an email for customer service. I sent them an email to explain the situation. The driver contacted me when he got to the wrong address, I explained the issue and texted him my correct address. 5 mins later he called me to say I would need to pay more because skip would not pay him the extra km. (mind you, I had already paid for the food, the service fee, the delivery fee, and a tip!) I told him I was not gonna pay extra, so he refused to make the delivery. I contacted skip again and they offered me a 50% refund as skip credits! Needless to say I will never do business with skip again and will be contacting my credit card company for a charge back.
They leave food orders outside at rear door on the steps of an apartment building. The buzzer to contact me is at the front door of the apartment building. The don't call me to tell me about it or anything. I always go to the front door of the apartment building to meet the driver and make his life a bit easier. Then he never shows up. I sometimes find it a good while later at the rear door on the steps. Might be covered in ants by then, I don't know. I'm finding Skip the Dishes are not what it's claimed to be. Skip is to hard to contact and not getting my food deliveries is costing me money for nothing.
Even a 1-star rating is way too generous for this garbage service. Y'all have drivers who can't read simple instructions and drive around like they're blindfolded. I stayed away from Skip for a whole year because the orders were always a disaster. Gave it another shot today—big mistake. And, of course, they messed up again. By the time the chat support dragged their feet and processed the refund, the restaurant was closed, so I couldn't even reorder. If you're craving disappointment, go ahead and order from Skip—expect missing items, tampered bags, or your food delivered like an afterthought.
On Feb 13 I had issue with delivery which the company has not addressed properly. I sent out email to them as well on Feb 15 and nobody responded. Today Feb 21 I have sent a follow up email. This company has made it difficult for consumer to address issues to their senior management. They mislead consumers as they do not give warnings when there will be delays. But there is no one to talk to.
I was charged a delivery fee when it clearly stated "Free delivery over $15." I added more than that to my cart, a window popped up say "You have qualified for free delivery." Then they charged me a delivery fee. Customer service tried to make me prove it with screenshot, when I eventually did they made other excuses such as "That promo is for Skip+ members only", when I mentioned that it didn't state that anywhere on the page, they decided to end the chat. They are scam artists and should be prosecuted.
But on a positive note, they are inspiring me to prepare my own meals.
Took over two hours refund taken up to 10 days no customer service only chat, McDonald's should have closed their account until they could catchup on the orders as well
Food comes cold no insulated bag. The driver does not even ring the door bell Customer service is no help forgot have the order no help. They did refund the price of the food that did not make it nice so one person does not get feed
I ordered from skip and never received my food customer service wouldn't even answer me. I will never order from them again. I'm also out $40 for the food I never received
I am new restaurant owner took over the existing one. Forced by representatives to sing off documents a day before vacation. As soon as i did it they cut off my account. And every one went for vacation for ten days. Surprisingly after vacation they are asking for the sane documents. It seems they never checked their emails.I damaged the best sales of the year just because of irresponsible representative while they could let me know and shifting after vacation.They are useless and irresponsible.
Skip the dishes is a scam. When you order, the app shows that the restaurant is preparing your food, a few minutes later it shos that the driver picked it up and is on his way, and the you get a notification that the order was canceled because the restaurant is closed. So what the app has been showing is just a scam.
Then of course they don't refund your money.
When you request to talk to someone, they get someone to chat with you and as soon as you ask for a refund, the person you were chatting with doesn't reply anymore and they close the chat
We put 2 orders in, and they just decided to cancel one without contacting us... and refused to refund our order. What was supposed to be a nice christmas breakfast, turned into an absolute wreck.
I placed an order because they sent me a $10. Voucher. I have a new, broken ankle. The driver delivered it outside of my apartment building! Skip didn't care! Accessibility is a joke!
The customer service agent was $#*!ing $#*!ed, and their attitude was $#*!ing stupid. They were so $#*!ing stupid indiens, they did not understand what I was saying.
I canceled an order with them and was never refunded, I contacted multiple different people about the issue through their support and it seems like it's just bots at this point. You can't even call anymore so I can't even talk to a real person about the issue. Skip is basically a scam at this point, don't order through them! I definitely won't be going forward.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
I had terrible experience,delivered around 50 minutes after my order. Problem was original delivery person took my order and dropped my order after 15 mins, and another guy picked my order. 2nd del person delivered after half an hour that was nomal. But problem was delayed by first guy who did not pick up myfoods on time and dropped. Total del time was around 50 mins. I got cold burgers and foods. Skip the Dish told me that was nomal in an hour delivry. Is it true? After 30 mins,got food getting cold quickly. I don't need cold foods. That was not my fault but me and my wife got cold burgers and onion rings we ate little and dumped. Chatting guy told me only 10 mins late.it was very nice customer service. How skip the Dish solves the problem? You guys should avoid del person takes multiple orders.he didn't pick my foods up when ready he drove somehwere and dropped my order. He should pay my cold foods and take it. It is terrible service.
We couldn't eat the salmon we ordered at Paisano's as it wasn't fresh. Skip the dishes refused to refund the full amount and forced us to accept only 25% and then hung up on us.
This company will Refuse to refund you when they mix up your order.
