MY name is D.Jones and I am a full time construction worker who time is valuable and I'm here to take my time writing to express my deep disappointment with the level of customer service support I received with SkipTheDish, a third-party delivery service that I have been a loyal customer of for several years. Unfortunately, my most recent encounter has left me deeply dissatisfied and wanting to shed light on their subpar service.
To provide some context, I recently placed an order with one of their partner restaurants, valued at $31. However, upon its arrival, I was met with disappointment as the sub I received was soggy and unappetizing. Additionally, the delivery process itself was incredibly time-consuming, with two whole hours passing before my order finally reached my doorstep.
Naturally, I promptly reached out to SkipTheDish's customer service, eager to address these concerns. However, my interaction with their support team only compounded my disappointment. Upon reporting the issue, I observed their delivery driver hastily dropping off my food on my front porch, without extending any courtesy or opportunity for me to voice my concerns. This behavior left me feeling unheard and disregarded.
Following up with my complaint, the company's customer service representative offered me a mere 50% refund for their mistake. While attempting to compensate for their poor service, this offer fails to account for the time I wasted waiting for my order and the overall inconvenience caused. I firmly stand by the belief that a full refund of the amount I paid is both reasonable and fair, considering the extent of their shortcomings.
To further emphasize the severity of this ordeal, I have attached a screenshot of the timestamps on my order. It clearly showcases the moment I placed my order at 4:05 PM, and the dishearteningly delayed arrival at 6:04 PM. This tangible evidence serves as a testament to the disregard for prompt and efficient service that SkipTheDish has demonstrated.
In light of my experience, I call upon SkipTheDish to reconsider their initial offer and grant me the full refund I rightfully deserve. Loyalty should be reciprocated with superior customer service, and unfortunately, they have failed to meet that expectation. I find it essential to inform fellow customers about the disappointing service standards set by this third-party delivery company.

I just wanna start by saying that I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED and UNHAPPY with your service. I ordered food from Bombay Roti around 11:35 AM (reference #: *******) and the delivery guy named Ikash handled my food. We've been chatting and told him the Apt # 09 and he confirmed it by replying Apt #9? And I said yes, but when I saw his next message said, I leave the food outside the doorstep, Enjoy! (And he left the chat)
But I kept on looking out the door but food was nowhere to be found. I thought, he delivered it to the wrong apartment but I couldn't contact him anymore. Is this the way you trained your drivers? I mean that is not an item to leave at the doorstep, it's FOOD and not an item. I called the Customer Service Hotline but nobody answered it I'd been waiting for more than 54 minutes so I ended the call by waiting for someone to answer and help me.
And so, I went to the SkipTheDishes website and I had Deepanki chatted me but to my DISMAY he seemed to be IMPATIENT and not able to assist me at all. He didn't even help me but leave me hanging and leave the chat room. I AM TODAY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE FROM THE DRIVER TO THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT CHAT.
Did you train all your staff how to deliver EXCELLENT Customer Service? Especially the customer Support Chat that was supposed to help me and not leave me behind. I'm not having issues with a UBER and they deliver food right on time.

This business has absolutely no business being in business. I am shocked, yet completely unshocked by these reviews. This company has less than 2 stars from almost 800 reviews - someone should do something - legally. I am seeing repeated words like thieves, scam, etc. And I 100% agree. Almost every single person is in agreement that orders are very, very frequently delayed, incorrect, or don't show up at all - and that moreover, the customer service is essentially non-existent. You cannot reach an actual person other than through a chat. They will gaslight you, and kick you off the chat when you're demanding they listen to you and do something. I have had a multitude of negative experiences like this with SkipTheDishes, but today was by far my worst. I placed an order from a place 12 minutes away from me. The driver picked it up and then drove in the opposite direction, 10 minutes further away, and literally SAT there for THIRTY minutes doing nothing. I had to contact customer support and spend ample energy trying to explain to them the situation and they were useless. I tried to tell them there is a 100% chance my order (coffee and breakfast sandwich) would be cold by NOW, let alone the additional 20+ minutes it would take to get to me granted the driver left immediately. They didn't care. Eventually the driver made its way to me and dropped off the order. It had been over an hour since I placed it. The coffee was not only cold but it was also made incorrectly and not what I ordered. The breakfast sandwich was cold, and soggy. I tried to drink/eat the items but I couldn't and I literally had to throw them out. I paid $30 for this order after delivery fee of $5 and a $3 tip, plus skip fees. I tried to contact customer service again and explain the situation, and they gaslighted me, ignored me, and pretty much everything under the Sun. I was booted out of 3 different chats because they said they would only offer me a 50% refund on the order and I did not agree. I repeated myself over and over and said the aside from being cold, the coffee was literally not what I ordered, and the sandwich was soggy and inedible. In no universe would a 50% refund be appropriate for this. They do not care whatsoever. This business is a massive, massive, MASSIVE scam. And a plethora of reviews like this only confirms that. This business should absolutely be shut down. DO NOT USE IT. Use DoorDash or UberEats, or whatever, instead.
So when skip sending my earing went to my bank got rejected and returned to them my bank sending me all everything it shows it in pic it's return back it was for aug1 to Aug 8 after let them know. After 12 days they say it maybe ur info for ur bank it's not correct but it's very interesting last night I got my earing for last week to my account. Now it's good because it's good they sending this email. I spoke with 2 different lawyer they said if second earing arrived last night that's proof of that ur bank info it's correct after u fixed it u received ur other earing but the one it's rejected they don't wanna sending for you. It's good for you if you ok for that $757 they don't wanna give it back they they have to deal and give much and much more then that. I was try to share with u guys to know it takes time but they will have to give loads of money for damage your lods of thinks.

It's never the restaurants, it's the fricken couriers. Not all but def the ones who could care less because they know you will either get a refund or a credit in skip credits. I've deleted my app and will never order from them again. If you want proof look on my account
I live in Ottawa. Tonight my order from Wendy's took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get here arriving after 11 pm at night! I had 4 different chat people with the last being over the top rude. Offered me a 5 dollar credit and pretty much told me where to go! My last 5 orders have each been messed up, either missing items, drinks, wrong items, broken up food. Desserts were all smashed on 2 different occasions after being charged 6.00 for each dessert. I'm so angry right now. I want to go to the media. This company shouldn't be running. Tonight the reason explained to my by a Skip chat rep for my late delivery was the supposed lack of delivery people in the area. So how can you run a delivery service... if you don't have the people? Clearly from the other ratings on here this company is going down. I hope they do! I filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well.

I need to rant and warn you guys.
Yesterday I ordered a shamrock shake and cheeseburger from skip the dishes. It took a hour before I got the 10 mins until your order will be delivered notice, so like a good little diabetic, took the insulin I needed for that iced creamy goodness. Well, the order never arrived. I contacted customer service and they would not fix the problem beyond a refund in credits to use their service again. They told me I could use it to reorder that food. I told them I don't trust it not to take an hour and by that time I'd be in serious medical trouble. They refused to contact the restaurant or driver to have the food delivered promptly in order to help me get that sugar. I tried to get my sugars stabilized, but I couldn't and I had a seizure.
Fast forward to today. I decided to use those credits to order something else. I was hoping either to redeem then or to just use the credits and forget about using skip again. Food came but it was ice cold. I saw the driver put it on my doorstep and I grabbed it after he left.
I complained again letting them know I got cold food that was inedible and explained that I was already upset for how they treated yesterday's incident. Guess what I got? A $7 credit on my $20 purchase. Again they are forcing me to use their service if I want to get my money back... not even all my money. So I finally got customer "service" to have a manager call me. He did! Here's where things went south fast.
He asked me to explain what I was upset about, so I told him. He started off by telling me the food couldn't possibly have been that cold. I lost it because, in my opinion, he was telling me I lied about the temperature of the food. He insisted he wasn't calling me a liar, but went back to explaining why I was. He then went on to say that it was my fault for expecting my food to be delivered as promised yesterday and that I shouldn't have taken my insulin, so it was my fault for having the seizure. He compared it to his asthma saying that he wouldn't expect someone to give him his inhaler if he had an asthma attack. Two $#*!ing completely different things.
What $#*!ing company indirectly causes a medical emergency and then tells the customer it's their fault for trusting them? If anyone here uses skip the dishes please take this as a warning of their absolute lack of concern for their customers.

**** I only received two items. And the item I received was a different bread than the one I placed an order and had a lower price. Shame that they refused to take responsibility for it!
After waiting over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our dinner. I contacted SkipTheDishes by chat. They apologized and then proceeded on calling the restaurant (so they say) and informed me I should cancel my order and order somewhere else! The agent offered me a $5 consolation rebate on my next order. Original order was $55. HOW GENEROUS! LOL! Oh! And SkipTheDishesButNeverGetYourOrder just issued a refund to my credit card that will take 5 to 7 business day. Or is it the delivery time for the pizza?
I then called the restaurant directly and they answered right away. I explained the frustrating situation and they did put a SPECIAL RUSH on my food order!
My pizzas were there within 20 minutes.
It's double pizza in Montréal. I suggest to order directly from them.
