Unprofessional and total scam artists. Sent a defective item. I promptly returned it but never received my refund. Customer service phone number automatically sends you to voicemail. Had to end up starting a Paypal dispute and only then did I receive an e-mail from Shop.ca telling me to close the dispute then they'll refund. Really? Because for weeks after they received the item back, they never refunded me so me closing the dispute would only kill my last recourse at actually getting my money back. Also, they make you return items to a different address than the one listed on their Paypal account so this causes confusion with Paypal reps. Finally, after numerous calls and about five weeks, Paypal refunded me. Ridiculous. Shop.ca should be shut down for their unethical practices trying to steal people's money. Wish I would've read reviews on this site before buying anything from them. Would've saved myself a lot of time and hassle.

I went to buy a $30 accessory kit for stacking a washer/dryer. Small item in both size and price that I could pick up anywhere... futureshop, sears, etc. Thought I'd try shop.ca since I like the idea. They wanted to charge $59 shipping on a $30 item. With tax it was over $100. Whatever... Shop.ca is dead to me now. Tell two friends...

Guy this website is only good if you know how to use it.
Do not shop until you can find a good coupon. I'll tell you what I did.
I wanted to get some headphones and saw that Audio technica m50x is usually 240 but was on sale for 199, and I found a coupon that gives 60 dollars of credit for items above 175 dollars. I ended up paying about 160 tax included. + free shipping.
That price beats everywhere i searched.
Use these coupons I also picked graphic cards from here and guess what I had 60 dollars off of 180 dollar graphic cards as well. I ve worked at retail before and the store does not make money on computer parts and usually when things are on sale they cannot take additional dollars off because store will lose money on it.
All in all, take advantage of sales and coupons and you will get the best deal in canada. For sure!

I am a first time customer of Shop.ca. I must admit I was hesitant to order as there were so many negative reviews. That said - those reviews do not reflect my experience at all. I purchased an infant travel system (car seat & stroller) and could not be happier. It was more than half off the price I was going to pay at other locations, purchase process was easy & efficient, system arrived in a timely manner and product is exactly what I expected it to be. I would absolutely order from them again.

Ordered 6 items for Christmas on Dec. 3rd. 4 of the 6 orders were cancelled without warning, 1 came through a week later, another is still stuck at "Shipping soon". Repeated attempts to contact through email and phone are met with automated replies and answering machine. Their company is a joke. Stay away, save your money and time. It's a joke how they market themselves as a Canadian site by Canadians for Canadians. They are a DISGRACE to the country and I hope they go out of business soon.

Ordered a shirt from shop.ca and they charged my credit card the same day. 3 weeks later still have not received the shirt. You cannot talk to someone at the "customer service" phone number they provide on their website... it goes to voicemail claiming they are receiving higher than normal call volumes and they suggest to email them. I've done so... time will tell if they are able to rectify the situation (I want my money back... I don't care about the shirt).

We at Shop. Catry our best to provide a hassle-free experience for our customers. However, there are rare occasions, due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the vendor, where the experiences do not meet the expected satisfaction of the customers. In such instances we do our best to turn such situations around. But we do have certain limitations in what we can offer our customers.

We asked the vendor to cancel your order when you emailed us on January 23rd inquiring about it. A refund is only processed through our system once the vendor cancels the order but they did not do that in a timely fashion. It seems that the amount was refunded February 3rd. We assure you that we are working hard to get back to our service levels and avoid situations like these.

Absolutely horrible customer service! You can never get anyone on the phone, by email, or live chat. I haven't seen my refunded money from over 6 days ago, and I am getting more than a little worried, as I had to purchase the same item 3 times, because it kept getting cancelled by shop.ca - with no explanation. Now I am out over 600 dollars and I am hoping that my money comes back to me.
I urge you not to shop there, as it is one of the most frusturating experiences of my life.

I also use shop.ca to shop for my Christmas gifts and never received the items at all. I called them several times, exchanged emails to customer service reps and their CEO, and even sent them messages in FB to get their attention. I never got satisfactory reply from all of it so I filed a dispute to Paypal and they have resolved it in my favor. I will never shop at this site ever again, my first and last! This site doesn't even deserve a star (I just did to post this review).

I wish I had read more reviews before shopping here. Don't know how this site is still even functioning. Ordered something a month ago and item has still not been delivered and i Don't even think the supplier has been notified. I've sent 2 emails to the support and even Tho they say 24-36hr reply time it's been well over that and i Have still not heard from anyone. Wondering if I can reverse my payment some how and get My
Money back.:(

Don't shop here people! They may be trying to turn things around but at clearly doing a piss poor job of it. Don't understand how there can be so many functioning online shopping sights and one like this can literally just be so so terrible.

I signed up for the $25 off with paypal and then you also get $25 off from shop.ca when you order $100 or more. I ordered something worth $142. Paypal came through but surprise, surprise shop.ca didn't! I could have bought my item cheaper at Home Depot! This is a scam! You can't talk to anybody on the phone, when you send an email you get some instructions that are out of this world that you should have done at check out which wasn't shown anywhere when you ordered! Stay away! This site has SCAM written all over it!

Since my registration on Shop.ca, I keep getting (unrelated) spam emails. Before my email was spam free. Also my wife had the exact same issue. When contacting Shop.ca, they could/would not help me. AVOID registering at Shop.ca if you want to remain spam free.

Don't deal with this website! Their advertising is false. They state that item would ship within 6 business days. It has been11 days since I placed the order and the order has not been sent for processing at this time, so I have requested a cancellation of the order and a full refund. We will see how long it takes to get it done. I pointed out the false claims and discrepancies in what their telephone rep was telling me. Never again will I use shop.ca!

I ordered Nov. 27th. Update. I was heading out to find alternative gifts for my grandchildren when I saw a UPS truck doing a U turn outside my driveway and the cardboard boxes laying in my garden. At least the items arrived but with absolutely no email from Shop.ca that the items were ever shipped and therefore no way to track the items.It is Friday afternoon and Christmas Eve is Sunday... not the type of service I am looking for.

Saw the PayPal offer and decided to take a closer look. Ive done enough internet shopping to recognize a fishy site when I see one. So I decided to read some reviews to confirm or disconfirm my suspicions. So glad I did. This site hardly seems like a professional business and it has me concerned that is "backed" by PayPal

Purchased a laptop and applied discount codes. During checkout, the codes were seen as "applied" and it lessed it from the total. However, in my invoice I got, the original price was charged to me without the discounts, so they overcharged me.

I tried to contact customer service to dispute this, but nobody answers emails or calls. I intend to return my product for a full refund, but who knows how long that will take.

Site is terribly overpriced, very rare to find a "good deal".
Gimmicky rewards are a poor attempt to attain new customers.
Selection is horrendous.
Extremely slow customer service response.

I find your site very difficult to use and there is no customer service phone number anywhere on your site. Even when I Google it nothing comes up. I have been trying to order a product for a couple of weeks and my emails don't work and the passwords don't work and the whole customer experience is very frustrating. Why are all you on line sites obsessed with passwords and security. I get security a check out but you can't get to the check out with out an out of stock message come up after you've gone through the whole shopping process. (They pay Google to promote these ads to reel you into their website)
They advertise a good deal on a Yamaha keyboard piano so I ordered it.
They send me a cheaper model. I tell them, they say return it for a refund their website was a mistake. After reading other peoples complaints I decide not to take a chance shipping it back and maybe it gets damaged and then I would be without the keyboard and the refund.
Shop.ca is only good if you have a $50 off coupon which I did, so it was still a good deal.
Customer service and shipping was fast.

I searched online for a gift and found it on shop.ca with a huge discount! But after reading so many bad reviews, I was hesitant to purchase from this site. I went ahead & ordered it anyway, & I was completely surprised. My item was delivered less than a week after I ordered it, in perfect condition! Very pleased.
