Shop.ca, is the slowest on-line purchase I have ever made... 2 weeks later and the item has not shipped. No response after 2 phone calls, they are still trying to contact the supplier. Didn't update me after the first request asking why my purchase has not been shipped as promised. So I've made a second phone call. They still don't know when or why... do not use this company unless you enjoy being frustrated.

I will never use this site again! They are too slow, ordered something more than a week a go, still shows up as "processing". It is before "shipping soon", and "Item in transit" status. So still long way! They are too lazy.

If you are wondering why your order still not arrived, the reason is shop.ca doesn't pay suppliers money. Please STOP shop at this website, go Amazon.ca or somewhere else which has much better reputation among the suppliers. Remember! If you don't receive your order, call your credit card centre to dispute the payment!

Have been days trying to talk to loyalty rep or online chat to an agent - no luck.
No response other than an automated confirmation of receipt to emails.
I dont care if their prices are cheaper - I wont be shopping there again until they fix their customer service. Period.

Really like the site, love Bonus coupon they give you however many products are overpriced found some products a lot cheaper at amazon
I don't, understand how they can have items for half price and I find them elsewhere at regular price and about 3-5 dollars cheaper. That really bothered me, it's as if they just pretend to make up a sale when really they are just selling the product at the same price as everyone
Hope the work on there prices really want to stay with them.

I purchased an electronics item which has a 180 day return policy on their website. They refuse to give me a refund on the defect product after 38 days saying that it was only (a) a 30 day return window and (b) the 180 days refers to new-condition, still in packaging items. Who, I ask, makes a purchase and after 175 days decides to return it without ever using it. They advertise a good return policy but there is so much fine print that you will undoubtedly be stuck with whatever you buy from them.

I ordered some gift cards one month ago and still not received. I tried to sign-in that not works. Called them, just answering machine. But still they are sending emails everyday about their F**** sale. After all the emails, finally l received the e-card.

This company is the worst, trying since two month to get money back for a returned defect tablet. Never again, stay away from this Canadian online company. I'll stay for the future with the US companies, they are reliable have very good customer service and are quick. Shop.ca want to become number 1 in Canada, they are just a joke and should be removed from the net.

I cannot get anyone on the phone and continually need to send email for support. My first order was cancelled, with no reason given. My second order was filled with a used repackaged item. But I also have a credit for something else and I am trying to use the credit. I ordered an item and it has been sitting in processing for a week now and cannot get anyone on the phone and no satisfaction via email. Once my credit is used, I will not use them again.

Having a very frustrating experience with shop.ca. There is long wait time every time trying to contact them and they offer caller to be called back by their customer reps. Guess what, they would NOT call your back, at least in my case.

Also, it took a long time to get the shipment, one week after being told that the order had been shipped. When I was about the activate the gift cards I purchased, I realized that their numbers are different from those in their system under the same order. In other words, the gift cards I received can't be activated and can't be use at all. Called them for help fixing the issue. It has been two days and they haven't been able to address the issue.

Very unpleasant experience.

I have a lot of love for my homeland of Canada, and Shop.ca is the fastest growing ecommerce site. I used to always buy from Amazon, and they're great, nothing against them, but I wanted to support a local company. So now I buy all the random electronics and appliances I used to get on Amazon on shop.ca instead. Also they have a neat perk that whenever you get a friend to to join their (free) rewards program you get $25, which is pretty nice. I've gotten 3 friends to join so far. I should also say shop.ca has pretty good/friendly customer service. I've never found Amazon's phone number (although I suppose they have one somewhere) but you can call shop.ca at *******722 which I thought was neat. Enjoy!

I have had the most difficult time getting anyone to contact me who works for this company. I found an article of clothing I wanted and went to add it to my cart. The site won't actually let me do this as it won't let me modify the size and says I can't add it using the current size. I emailed their support address and received an automatic reply that they would get back to me and strive for great service. I haven't heard a thing. I've emailed twice since then. I've contacted them on twitter. I've messaged them on facebook. I don'd think they know what 'service' means. Don't waste your time on their site because they don't care if you have problems. I wish I could give negative stars.

I can't stand companies that trick you in with a promo for new clients only. Once you're in, you are garbage, and any other promo is for the "newer" people. Take care of your clients, and they'll come back. It must be tough for them to always try to find new customers...

I had purchased a pair of jeans. The package arrived, no problem, but the jeans had no tags attached at all and looked like used ones. I had contacted the company the same day, and of course they said that if there is no tags on the item you won't be able to return or exchange it! This is the worst experience ever! Don't buy from them, by the way the jeans arrived from the store called Jean Machine

Very poor service

Very poor service. I have called 4 times and emailed twice. Nothing. Maybe they are just to busy dealing with their bad service or they don't care once they get your money. I will not be dealing with them again not matter what the offer is. Now we just have to wait and see what is delivered. Shop anywhere but at Shop.ca

I ordered a camera which was an amazing deal. Although they over sold the product, they were extremely accommodating. They purchased another Camera to send to me even though it was a different colour. They also upgraded the memory card and gave me a 25 dollar credit for the inconvenience. I was amazed with their customer service. I will definitely purchase from there again

Do not purchase anything from SHOP.CA. If you do receive your items, you in no way can return anything. They don't reply to email or answer their phone... EVER. I can't believe they are still in operation. Its all overpriced merchandise anyways. They don't even deserve one star on anything, but minus stars are not an option. Don't waste your money or your time!

Worst customer service ever! I purchased a set of kitchen pots and pans and it took forever for it to arrive. Upon calling to inquire about the status I was put on hold of course... but it was about an hour long hold. I thought my cell phone was going to run out of battery but I didn't want to hang up since I was in queue and didn't want to lose my place. I was told it was in transit but after a week with no updates or email delivery confirmation I had to call again. The product arrived almost a month later. Very frustrating customer service, will not be doing business with them again.

Put in an order on Nov 4th. I got my order 2 weeks later but not even what I ordered! Calling the support number never gets a human on the phone. Even emails respond by robot saying they are just too busy. Finally got an email from a "human", basically saying they are really busy! Wow great customer service. It is now Dec 27th and still have no refund or correct product. Are these guys related to TeamBuy. Same type of experience! Stay away.

I placed a substantial order on this site in mid October 2013. The following day, I received an email message indicating that two items were not available and there were refunds made through PayPal and on to my credit card. I waited a few days to see these refund show up. One finally did but, as of today (November 8), I am still arguing with Yursa at shop.ca who tells me all is well and the monies have been refunded. I am frustrated and highly annoyed. The 'savings' I got from using this site have been eaten up by the non-refund. Shop here at your own peril.
