Got the TD credit card $50 bonus credit for SHOP.ca. Bought 2 items, one of them is out of stock, and they refused to refund the full amount as store credit. Only giving me $1.44. Ridiculous! There are lots of shopping website out there. Why pay for such a negative experience? Shop around first. They charge higher, but with poor service and slow shipping. I bought a belt that they charged $25, but their supplier (merchant partner) even put a price tag in the package saying it actually selling it for $9.99.
Most of the products on this website are over priced. I made the mistake of ordering from them and my order has been processing for a week. I've sent two inquiries through their site to find out when the order will ship and have received no responses. How is this place still in business when Amazon 10 times more efficient? Never again. If I don't hear from them in the next 24 hours, I'm calling my credit card company and cancelling the payment.

Shop. Ca is so overpriced it's amazing how companies like this will just rip off consumers like we're all idiots. There must be enough people actually dumb enough to pay 3 to 4 times more than the same product on eBay, Amazon or a dozen other online stores. Total scam involving pay pay trying to tell you you are saving money when really they jack up the prices so high in actuality you are paying more than retail! Don't be an IDIOT!
Time delays in shipping (getting orders processed to when it is shipped) are long. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired - very slow in responding. Have not been overly impressed with quality of product
I have had successful transactions with shop.ca before but this latest one is terrible.
Part of my order was cancelled without notice and the other part has been "Shipping Soon" for 2 weeks. When contacting customer service by e-mail you do not get a response and by phoning their number you are told they are experiencing a higher than normal call volume and the machine hangs up.
Very sketchy. At this point I would like to just cancel my order and purchase from somewhere I trust.

I purchased a suitcase that was supposed to be shipped "within 3 business days". A week later, the item's status still showed as "supplier processing". I called their support line where the recording told me that they were experiencing "normal than higher call volumes" (sic). I had sent an e-mail and indeed received a response within their target response time (24-36 hours). Turns out the item was already shipped and waiting for pickup at my local Purolator depot. There was something wrong with shop.ca's online status update system. Otherwise, my experience was good, the item's price was very reasonable, and shipping was fast and free.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, maybe the positives are just not reviewing. I found it easy to order & pay on Nov 13. I live in Vancouver, both of my items arrived separately on Nov 19 (1 from Quebec, the other from Ontario) and both items were in perfect condition and as I expected.
I must admit, that if it were not for paypal inviting me to shop on shop.ca with a $40 credit on $99 or more, I probably might find their "regular" prices outrageously high. Sale item prices are much more tolerable given the inclusion of free shipping.
All-in-all my shopping experience was very positive.
Note: Less than 10 minutes after this hit Twitter and Facebook I got an email promising that this will be taken care of swiftly.
I ordered a 55 inch tv which arrived broken in the box. No signs of abuse on the outside, but it had been dropped on its corner and separated the bezel from the screen. I did not take it out of the box, notified them and was told they would get right back to me with return instructions.
That was a week ago, no amount of emails get answers. I called VISA, and they are taking over in a few days.
I learned too late that this company has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. We ordered 2 chairs, the order turned out to be fulfilled by The Brick. One chair was defective, and they were a different colour than pictured on the web site. The company has responded to none of my e-mails. Wish I had done my research before.
Ordered winter boots. They took the money right away and sent an email that the order was being processed. Eight days later and order is still being processed. Got through to a team member. They have no idea about where the order is right now. It is Saturday and they promise they will contact me on Monday. Are you kidding. Their billing system is not connected to inventory which is not connected to shipping. This is the 21st century. What kind of hobbled together joke is this for an online shopping experience. I could walk to a shoe store and get this item faster. Never again. Where were those ads showing on TV filmed, with happy Canadian employees looking at computer screens and processing orders. What a load of baloney. This operation deserves to be closed and the sooner the better.
With so many negative reviews I feel obligated to share my simple, positive experience. I ordered a pair of shoes on a Monday evening, got the confirmation they had shipped the next day and received them about noon on Thursday of the same week. Would definately buy from here again.
I waited over 2 MONTHS for my order to arrive. They kept telling me it was going to ship soon, but then they cancel so casually after making me wait the whole two months. Lousy company and lousy service. Never buying anything from them again!

Ordered something on Nov 27... states "in stock, ships within 5 business days" 12 business days later still not shipped and the folks at shop.ca cant even tell me where it's shipping from! As it does not state on the website that it's coming from a third party (like they do on Amazon) we assumed it came from their own warehouse. It is very difficult to get hold of people and you tend to get 'stock answers' in my opinion. They are e-mailing the supplier and cant tell me why they are not picking up the phone to talk to them... avoid this company! Too bad as we like to support Canadian companies when we can.
Their customer service is slow and bad, as well as their shipping. Also, they force you to "like" their Facebook and social networking pages, but then take the money away later! They've removed money from my account twice with no explanation, that is pure theft. Selection is bad and their prices are above retail, there's no reason to trust or use this site. Anything you earn in rewards could be taken from you at any time. Should be illegal.
One month to receive an outdoor furniture set that was supposed to arrive in 5 days.
Another month to have someone pick it up as the set was damaged.
Endless, and I mean endless frustrating hours on the phone struggling to get the arrangements made.
The Shop.ca staff did their best, and I thank them for their efforts, but their hands are tied as all arrangements must be made through the distributor.
Shop.ca is merely the middleman, with no authority or ability to make anything happen should something go wrong.
I bought 2 HP 75 XL Tricolor refilled ink cartridges from this company. Great price, quick delivery BUT, the printer showed "USED" and would not print properly. An original HP cartridge of this type weighs 46.5 grams new and 35 grams empty. These weighed 36.5 grams new. Looks like they added a few grams of ink and passed them off as full.
This site should be taken down, total scam, order nice boots, receive knock off trainers, they chat away about partial refund and keep the trainers, dragging it out, i know i will never see my money or my boots.

I ordered laser printer toner from them, because of a promotion through PayPal with Shop.ca. The price was good because of the discount. Shipping was fast, everything arrived fine. But the product is crap! Might as well have no toner in my printer! So I complained to customer service. Only an automated response saying we'll get back to you.
So let's see: they sell junk, and won't respond when you complain about it. The good is they ship the junk to you ASAP!

Shop.ca is the worst online business I have ever encountered, and I have bought a lot of things. I purchased shoes for my elderly mother, but decided to cancel the transaction within 30 minutes. The procedure for cancellation on their website did not work at all. I finally sent an email, requesting cancellation. Today 4 days later, they processed the transaction anyways, although they were in full knowledge of my cancellation request. I will report the company wherever I can.

Coupon was good but customer service is horrendous. I have contacted them repeatedly for a return shipping label - through their site, on the phone, by email - no reply. I don't think i will order from them again unless they have a very good deal. Original prices are inflated... much prefer amazon with great customer service and better prices.
