I am looking a for a trucking company in order to ship 2 boxes not a broker for FedEx!
After scheduling the shipment someone called me to advise that FedEx will pick up the boxes.
I contact Shipley for trucking shipment to my clients, i do not need a middlemann for FedEx!
I have my own FedEx! Account everything was delivered broken/lost.
I'm a van driver and I took 3 loads from shiply. The 3rd, I mentioned more than one price for faster delivery times and shiply sends me a bill for $30 accusing me of trying to bypass their fees. My understanding is they charge $10 and then it's whatever I bid. Apparently that's not the case. There's some kind of fee structure but they won't tell me what it is. They won't tell me how I broke the rules. They just keep repeating a canned statement, it sounds like they're saying I charged the customer $200 when I only charged $89. They saw another price mentioned and decided they need more money... from me. I offered delivery within 3 weeks for the quoted price of $89, within 1 week for $200, and same day for $350... She picked the cheap one. Ugh, I'm such a rule breaker.? The kicker here is when I was in the area the customer didn't answer any messages, so I still have this mattress on my truck and have to drive it from Wisconsin to Indianapolis for $89 and now shiply wants $30 of that. Ridiculous! I emailed numerous times and they keep repeating the same short sentence, not explaining anything, and now are referring me to write a formal complaint to the CEO in London? FINE I'LL DO IT. Just stupid. Numerous other problems with the bidding process, load info disappearing after they accept the bid, can't upload pics, etc. Oh yeah, and they don't actually check your references so you can go ahead and put wherever down there too. Done with these jokers, it's a money scam.
Hiply — Shiply didn't act properly and driver stole my money
Hello
On October 29 I had bid that accepted to find a driver ship my boat. I saw two unauthorized payment $110and $85 but at that time I didn't know but I saw messages came $110 charged I contacted Karen support team to cancel the bid but he never replied back all conversations was via email. Now I saw at the same time shiply charged me another payment of $85.
After that on Nov 2 someone gave me offer and I accepted. Shiply sent driver contact number. I didn't contact him but he none stop called me and texted me.
He said I can transfer your boat on Nov 10 but if you want I'll do it tomorrow Nov 3 if you pay $1200 deposit now. He said I'm certified insured licensed driver through Shiply.
I paid $1200 via Zelle and after that he disappeared and never replied back.
I sent email to shiply and repot him and said you have to suspend his license but shiply replied: we will do act when the driver will do something wrong few times in short period of time!
I said he stole my money and 2 days before me he stole another person money still you wanted to wait?!
They sent me his address that it's not match in google maps.
Shiply just answered very late and acted improperly and didn't have enough information about driver.
Shiply has to give me and other people who were victims and lost money because of their lack of proper act and on time.
Still no delivery. No vetting of shippers. No advocacy for clients. You are on your own and at the mercy of crooks.
Got transport courier thru shiply... they collected vehicle and no delivery... police envolved classed as stollen t4 VW campervan reg R588 ABU WHITE WITH BLACK STIPES... disgusting how they can let companys register with them and this happens total scam
The shippers they put me in contact with were crooks.
The company named Daak Global LLC
DBA Kwick Kargo stated in their website that the had 15 years experience BUT they got incorporated in 2019.
The received quote stated "no service fees or extra fees"... but the shipper charged me 5% as CREDIT MERCHANT CHARGES. Totally BS.
The shipper also wanted payment with Zelle, or a deposit to their bank account and to give them my credit card info in a form of "authorization" so they can run my credit card... GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
BOTH Shiply and their UNVERIFIED shippers ARE CROOKS.
This business charges you to connect you with individuals. All the check is that they have a valid drivers license and their address and phone number. Internet scammers are using them as a way to scam money from people trying to ship goods. If I were Shipley I would at least check that they are a valid company and have insurance. 20 minutes after I did my research I found out that there was a warrant out for their arrest they were not a trucking company everything was made up shiply says it's my responsibility to file charges against them and it Shipley is not responsible for any loss. If someone is moving tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars of goods this is not a company you want anything to do with. They will not give out the shippers information besides a phone number and address that are disconnected and do not exist. I'm out about $1000 upfront and Shipley says good luck.
They don't vet the contractor they refer to you and unfortunately I got one of their crooks. When I discussed those referrals they insisted that the issue was between me and them even though the recommend and ‘Stand Behind' them. They are still referring this crook even though there is a pending class action against him. Don't use Shipley,!
Shiply's courier 'Good' brothers collected my item and have stolen it. Don't use Shiply if you want your property stolen. Would give 0/5 if that was possible
I haven't even had the service yet, I am so upset, I have contacted shiply to sort it as I have had no proper contact from the courier booked to carry out a house move. Bad enough that you're locked out until a deposit is made but now that's done, nothing. Seem very cowboy ish to me
Do not recommend, maybe for a quick job happening tomorrow
After I paid the deposit they charged £10 extra for every flight of stairs - down and possibly up again. They claim it is in the terms and conditions but I could only see that after I was already committed i. E. after I paid the deposit. So I tried to cancel. No refund. Lost my money. And no delivery either. So the item I paid for is stranded with the seller. What a waste!
@shipleytrans Upon payment to receive the following car (https://t.co/fBrC618CxO), Shipley promised to complete transfer within 2-3 days. After 3 weeks no car has arrived nor wants Shipley to pay back. Shipley arranges cheat deals! The customer support was not helpful and would not resolve the issue. Who in Shipley is responsible? I have payed but have not received the car! I am asking for my money back!
Appalling service Avoid Avoid Avoid they will not pick up or deliver on time. Appalling service Avoid Avoid Avoid Please
Shiply is not a real company. SCAM They can not be contacted. They stole a fee which is a percentage of the cost of transport and I've heard nothing since. I cannot get my money back or speak to anyone total scam.
I was trying to get a motorcycle shipped from Montreal. They connect me with a shipper, that when I search the web, there is a long list of horrible reports that there are scam artists and damaged equipment, were not on time, the equipment took much longer to receive ete. I cancelled my order and now out $85 because there does really appear to be any way to contact shiply. Their site help icon says Ooops something went wrong and their email does not work. I think this is a scam site that directs all may to the same company and provides other bogus quotes that may all go to same shipper as well.
Shiply is a shipping broker site full of low ball pricing scammer movers who hold goods hostage. Most offered very low prices for our household move of ******* kgs cargo. Many of the network members are also not really movin companies but sub brokers mediate for partner moving companies who then hire subcontractor drivers. One Hungarian sub broker company we hired for the 1500 kgs household goods cargo move from Spain to the Netherlands only sent a 1050 kgs cargo holding truck instead of the agreed and paid for 1500 kgs. Ultimately we had to pay extra to get the full load moved. The driver was also very late so not per agreed time and delayed our move by a day with of course extra costs. Upon arrival at destination the driver refused to help unload although we had paid extra for his help. Shiply refused to mediate to get a partial refund for that non performance despite that they had received a deposit from us.
Shiply had no control over the chosen company and when my vehicle arrived damaged, they made that clear. They did not offer to refund me the portion of the funds paid directly to them which says a lot about company character and integrity. My Range Rover Evoque was delivered by a company called WHC Courier and delivered by its co-owner Yan Dean Whittaker. Mr. Whittaker likes to give the impression that he's running a high end company with a multitude of select drivers and transport vehicles. All I can say is he is the one that ended up delivering my two vehicles, taking two separate trips using a single vehicle trailer. On arrival to me, the noticeable damage was pointed out, along with the fact that the bonnet was opened. Mr. Whittaker acted surprised and showed a self made video from his phone of the vehicle prior to delivery and stated that he being the owner of the company would pay for any damage and that the reason the bonnet was opened was because he had to jump start the vehicle. At this point he also claimed that he had not seen the damage prior. The thing is the damage does NOT appear in the video taken by Mr. Whittaker and after a dozen plus conversations, he contradicts himself in writing to say that he saw the damage prior to transport. I've turned the matter over to police, but after looking into the matter have informed me that it's a civil matter. Shiply was provided all of this narrative in much greater detail and I still haven't received an offer of reimbursement from them. They're saying that Mr. Whittaker provided proof of insurance and that they can't understand why he's refusing to provide his insurance details if he still has it. The damage extends from the front bumper rim and completely down the passenger side to the rear tire. Given the owner's unbelievable unprofessional behaviour towards myself and the shipping company's staff where he picked up my vehicle, it's hard to believe he's the face of any public facing business. Luckily, l have great insurance but don't really appreciate having to pay the excess. Am sure that I will be filing a civil suit shortly.
I have advertised parcel with dimensions, weight, pick up address and delivery address, according to that I have received many quotations, each courier you contact you have to pay £7 to Shiply first, then each courier replies back "sorry we don't cover your area". My question is that if you don't cover my area then why send the written quotations? These kind of couriers only help Shiply to make money for nothing.
Despite the couriers details showing a tick next to verified and a tick next to insurance along with details of the insurance Eg £100k Goods in Transit. Shipley DO NOT verify goods in transit insurance, they only check for vehicle insurance. Personally its not my problem if the courier doesn't insure his truck, it is my problem when my goods are damaged and they haven't got Goods in Transit insurance. The pages are laid out to give the impression that Shipley have checked out the providers when actually they do a bare minimum and rely on their own small print to turn their backs on their customers. I've used Shipley before and the service is good but isn't everything when things go right. The measure of a good company is hw they act when things go wrong and Shipley have been appalling!
I got an alert on my package that I had put an hold on it which I never did do still waiting?
