I used to love shipito, and i am currently a paid gold member. But the last months have bean a complete disaster. I have sent 4 packages in November and December, all of them with SLA 5-12 business days. One has comed after 1 month and a half and the others are nowhere to bee seen. Out of the 3,2 have invalid tracking and chat support says they can do nothing and to file a claim trough the ticketing system.
I currently have 3 open tickets for the 3 packages. For the one that was requested in Dec 16th ( still in transit) the customer service rep told me to write back in Feb 10th as she can do nothing before, even tough I paid for 5-12 days shipping.
For the other 2 tickets nobody bothered for 4 days now to answer them.
Even more, the package that left shipito warehouse on Dec 16th was consolidated in November 24 and i struggled for more than 2 weeks to make shipito understand that a shampoo is not a dangerous item. I made 2 international phone calls, chat-ed with support 2 times and had an absolutely horrifying discussion with the support rep that handled my ticket. She insisted to impose a 95 USD dangerous fee on my package because my shampoo has alcohol in it, even after providing a safety sheet form the manufacturer clearly stating that my item is not regulated for transport. When she saw that my package was cleared because of my phone calls she proceeded to tell me that there is no dangerous item ( this time an aerosol can - that never really existed in my package) in my package - in her opinion it was perfectly ok for an item to mysteriously vanish from a client package, and threatened me that if the package is returned to them my shipping cost will not be reimbursed.
So stay away..
First they forced redundant package split, that would take extra charge to repack and double the delivery cost ($200). The splitting took 5 more days than promised.
I sent 2 packages by different companies, and after month one of the packages was returned, so $120 delivery price paid was wasted. They said they tried contacting me and recipient - no messages, calls, emails were received, they don't agree to refund.
No trust to them at all.

Mailed an item to a person i met online. Post office told me it was delivered to the address at Shipito
In Hawthorne, CA. Person claimed she never went to get it bu. Showed me a picture of the package sitting in some type of bin at the Shipito facility. I called Shipito and left a message. Was contacted by a person named Jorge Sandavol via email. He asked me to send him information regarding the package, which I did. He never responded back to me. I called the facility again months later. Eventually I received a call back. A woman contacted me, she had an accent, which sounded like she could have been a Latino. Not that that matters, just mentioning it. I told her what was going on she looked up the person I addressed the package to. She claims the person never picked up the package. The story becomes very foul when she claims that the company burns packages when they are not picked up. She also told me that there was along with the person's name I mailed the package to there was another name listed on the account or address. She refused to give me that name. This name was important to me because I believe that person is the one who is doing the catfishing of unexpecting males. I believe the woman from shipito is involved in the scamming ring because I find very hard to believe that the have policy is to burn packages that have not been picked up after a certain time. I think it would have been logical for the company to send it back to the post office and have them return the package to the sender. So now I am in the process of trying to investigate the scamming that I suspect is going on. If anyone else has experienced this also, let me know. I hope to one day contact the owner/founder of the company to let him know what is taking place in his business. Just do not know who is the owner--on line it says that the CEO/founder sold it to Tritium. I looked at their website and did not see Shipito in their company portfolio.

Started out nicely several years ago but service has been degrading consistently. Letters are rarely being scanned without repeated prodding (used to be auto-scanned on arrival), prohibited items list monstrous (they claim the carriers dictate this but the carriers' own prohibited list is MUCH shorter) so they may reject your mailout at a whim and force you to return the item to seller (if you're lucky enough to be eligible for a return), "forgetting" to refund you when they cancel an assisted purchase (still waiting for over $200,1.5 months and counting). Sales reps flat out decline any and all requests and won't let you speak to a manager. This will disappoint even the cynics.

I have a package with shipito where I paid over $400 in total for consolidation fee and shipping cost to Australia on the 3rd of December and tracking was provided. Today is the 24th and the package is still not trackable on USPS. Furthermore, customer service is not responding to messages and havent replied for a week. They also asked for my ID which I have uploaded, its been a week since and I have sent multiple messages to Shipito and there is no response. It is like they are not even trying and basically just completely disregard their customers. There is no sense of responsibility or doing the right thing or any empathy for their customers. I am not even sure how I can get any of my stuff back when a company can go so low.
Do not use shipito or you wont get your goods.

I ordered some coffee glasses. A set of 4.2 arrived OK, the other 2 were a few shards and basically glass dust.
Not Shipito's fault but the complaint is that I had ordered "Extra bubble wrap" ($5) and a "Fragile" sticker ($2).
There were no outwards signs of damage when the box arrived but as soon as I picked the box up I could hear the contents were no longer intact.
Attached is a pic of the "extra bubble wrap" - this for a box measuring about 6 inches square and 3 inches deep. Its 3/16" bubble wrap - almost useless - even if it had been the appropriate size.
staples.com sell 5/16" bubble wrap - 12" x 30 FEET - not 30 inches - 30 F-E-E-T for $8.
I'll let you decide if you think $5 for some scrap, thin, useless, ineffective "extra bubble wrap" is worth it.

Been pleased with the service. I've had them ship a few packages. I only had one issue with a delayed shipment and it was my fault. I've had them combine my shipments to one box and they do a fantastic job. Highly recommend this service.

ShipTo has lost 3 of my packages now. One of which I had insurance for. The tracking showed that it was sent back to them, made it to their doorstep, and then it apparently vanished into thin air. They refunded me the charge for shipping and considered the matter closed. That was it for me and this company.
Have been using shipito for 5+ years and every single package I've sent has been successfully delivered from small to large items varying in value. Every single one weather sent by shipitos preffered carrier or economy, everything arrived in tact as always. I also like their special services, they offer many specialized purchasing options and I have used them more than once. Their customer service is also excellent. Ultimately great value and service, would highly recommend this company and will be using in the future.

I ordered two packages be delivered to Japan. The first package was delivered with no issue, however upon receipt of the delivery notification from Fedex of the second package(not shipito mind you) a security review was issued against my account that took many days to resolve. After this bogus security review was finally ended (had to provide many sources of evidence that I in fact had ordered a computer monitor), the second package that I KNOW they have has never been logged as received. Mind you this is a $1,500 computer. It has now been 10 days and it is still in limbo status. This does not make me feel optimistic. If what you are shipping is important, look for other options. Also I paid for expedited shipping from Dell to Shipito and they negated it by holding on to it and ignoring me for over a week.
**UPDATE**
12 days after delivery they finally responded to my support ticket. You might think this is a joke but now they are requiring FULL PROOF that this package was delivered to them. Do you know what that means? They probably lost it.
Have used Shipito services since long ago, although didn´t have use it for a couple of years. Recently, used Shipito services again and could see they still give high attention to their customers. The chat service is wonderful, helping you to have a great customer experience, as your questions are immediately addressed, and this is a kind of task where many issues can happen. I use a few other services, run by other companies, and can evaluate Shipito as the best of them, by far.

I paid for a year membership after looking at the ranking of reshipping companies. I've used them on high ticket items that ranged from $1500 to $5000 to save on Cali sales tax where I reside.
The customer service and opening a ticket to discuss issues is a joke. They are quick to close the support ticket and not even give a reply. They often use Fed Ex to ship items which is definitely one of the horrible shipping companies that cost more to ship. No option to choose what postal service to use (ie: USPS)
For the shipping fees you pay in additional to the added cost of packing and shipping out, the delivery can take long and they won't help answer questions.
They've shipped some items of mine and didn't pack it well that it moved around the fed ex box.
I regret paying the annual membership up front and I know I will not use their service once it's time to renew.

Already 15 times I use Shipito and very satisfied. Very fast DHL shipping, but a bit expensive. It's a good way to send light packages from the United States.

My shipment, which was delivered with proof of delivery from Fedex, is now after 6 days not found at Shipto! The customer service is not answering anymore and and I'm left without my paid goods beeing somewhere in their warehouse.
If things are already going so badly within the US warehouse, I can hardly expect that the ordered goods will ever find their way to Germany.
Because of my very bad experiences I strongly advise against using Shipto and recommend to look for other services, such as Borderlinx (http://www.borderlinx.com/)

My questions prior to using this service were answered quickly. The service itself was smooth and everything I hoped it would be/expected. I wanted to get a gift for a friend in another country from a goat's milk soap website that is only available to ship within the US, Shipito was perfect for this.

Customer service is fking useless. I don't know why they provide a useless support. All the agent told me is that they can't do anything to track my package back since it's lost due to their mistake, and refuse to pay any compensation even i pay the insurance.

I have 3 packages requested to ship out on 5 June (domestic package), and every time I check back to the website it always shows "Mailout has been shipped from our warehouse and is en route to you". When I paid for the shipping fees, they stated it takes 2-4 days to arrives, and now I have waited for a week. I can suspect they are actually planning to steal my packages as they know there are valuable items inside and I did not purchase the insurance.
