Missed Pickups CONSTANTLY. Missing items constantly. Delivering to the wrong address constantly, and now today I've had one "Out For Delivery Today" that just never showed up. These guys are hopeless.
You have more chance of winning a Lottery than getting your Parcel or on time. Three times people have used Sendle to send to me; the first time I had to hunt for it and I finally found it about 3 weeks late in a Transport Company named Border Transport. The second time someone used Sendle to send a Laptop to me; after a while I was told it was lost; I would say STOLEN. The third time is still pending; who knows maybe I will get lucky. In future I will tell people who are selling; if you intend to use Sendle I will not purchase. Photo below of missing Laptop.
The courier never buzzed my apartment (I was home all day) and never left a card (which is necessary for organising redelivery). It's quite clear the delivery was never attempted. The company then refused to deliver it, and I had to make a 1hr round trip to collect it myself. I strongly advise against using them.
They dont have phone number to talk to, no service, they left my parcel other houses and nice people brought to me, most time i loose my stuff throw them as senders use these people as they cheapest and cheapest, sandle
My delivery is almost 3 weeks late now and the parcel has gone through several repeat cycles of failing to be delivered. In Transit > Unable to Deliver > Sent to Depot > Redelivery requested. And now on the 2nd cycle of this nonsense its now going back to the sender who will hopefully use a REAL delivery company!
I have never experienced this level of incompetence from a delivery company before, even Australia Post does a better job! How do you FAIL so hard that Aus Post is better then you!? Its quite obvious that the delivery driver didn't even attempt to make the delivery due to laziness and distance.
For anyone running a business I can guarantee using Sendle is a guaranteed way to loose customers and give yourself an aneurysm, avoid it like the plague.
I ordered a pick up and sendle has changed who the sender was and who the deliver was twice. I was told by the shop that the package was picked up four days ago which has been denied by sendles computer system. Their surport system is totally nonexistent. This package is a battery for my wheelchair and I have been without mobility for four days due to appalling incompetence. Do not give this company your business. I have never witnessed such poor service. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Just terrible! Took a month to send a package and then it was deemed as undeliverable (what?) and was to be returned to sender. Fortunately, I managed to track it down to a depot 35kms away and went and collected it myself before they returned it to sender. Dont try and speak to anyone because they have no phone number! I will never use sendle again!
They charge way to much money just for your order to get delivered.Dont ever send packages through here they just gonna keep asking you for money and more money. Its the worst company ever to send packages through DONT SHIPP PACKAGES THROUGH HERE!
Sendle is so simple and efficient to use. I can simply log my parcels and know that they will end up where they need to be. Sendle manages the tracking emails for me - huge timesaver! The only negatives are that Sendle won't deliver to PO Boxes and sometimes the prices to rural areas are significantly higher than AusPost. Plus I can't send overseas with Sendle. Other than that, it is just an easy, no-brainer way to get my parcels sent.
Thanks for this generous feedback, Angie! We're thrilled to have built a service that works for you! At the moment, we are not able to deliver to Australia Post-owned properties as deliveries to these locations are restricted. You may refer to this helpful article we put together on suburbs we can pickup from for international shipping as well as the countries we deliver to. Hope this helps!
No phone number, no service and no parcel do NOT recommend!
Despite being advised that my item had not been received after tracker indicated that it was onboard for delivery the previous Friday, Sendle made no attempt to contact their agent, instead they submitted a "redilivery" request (there had been no "unable to deliver " advice) and another week later when their system let me put in a "not received" report commenced their investigation
The seller was also unable to get any action
Do not use them!
If you are a business considering using Sendle, I would implore you to reconsider they may be cheaper than some but there's a reason. As a customer I've never had a good experience and if I see an online business uses Sendle as their service I won't place an order.
I sent an expensive guitar, extremely well packaged to a customer in Victoria, from Brisbane to an address 2 hours out of Melbourne. Sendle have lost it! They inexplicably have no tracking after it reached Melbourne. My customer is shattered, Sendle have done almost nothing except to wipe their hands of the whole matter. Reprehensible service and behaviour from Sendle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Over two weeks ago an item I purchased was dropped off to a pick up hub. They accepted the parcel that had been booked for collection with couriers please. The sender had traveled over an hour out of her way to do this as shes a nurse and the parcel couldnt be picked up from her home or work. After almost a week of it not moving I contacted sendle and was told to keep checking the tracking page. Not helpful! It was only after I gave them bad feedback that they actually looked into it and said it hadn't been collected because it was too large to be stored at that hub and yet it has sat at that hub for 2 weeks! The hub accepted it, the booking was fine. Its an absolute cop out and they wont fix it. They told me to contact to the sender, the sender has been trying to contact them for a week!
My parcel was coming from Victoria. Time I checked the tracking status it would show that pickup from the depot ihad changed to a later date!
Then they notified me to say they couldn't find it! Following this they emailed me saying the courier did come but nobody was home and left a card! The courier NEVER came and of course no card.He had left my delivery up the road at a newsagency for me to pickup.
When I did get it home and unpack it. It was all broken! I informed the seller and she graciously refunded me. I emailed Sendle. No reply... then they send me an email to rate their service?
As my title says. I wouldn't give them even one star!
Package was not picked on the scheduled date. The following day, a person in a private car, wearing a beanie, came and pick up the parcel, and the parcel has not been marked as picked up on Sendle tracking?
Its now 7 days since I booked a pickup for a parcel. Its not been picked up yet and despite their much advertised guarantees, and despite numerous emails I've had no response. No, correct that, I received an invoice for the service they have not provided and they have charged me.
This looks like a complete scam. Beware. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
I used to spend $2.5k to $3k a week with them... I run ebay and Amazon stores and send a lot of parcels. But after repeated poor service I switched to the eParcel system... and saved about a thousand dollars a week. I recently gave them another try and in the space of one week, they delivered a shipment to Germany instead of India, damaged a fragile spirit level way beyond usability and then failed to allow me to do a claim on it as I was 1 business day past their bull$#*! 10 business day limit (I was away over Easter and missed their stupid deadline by a day) and also failed to collect my items for 3 days straight. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that my thousands of dollars are now going to a much better company.
I don't usually do reviews, but my recent experience with sendle has been awful with delays which affects my business and also the customer service was SO SLOW and very unhelpful. There was no offer to compensate anything for the time I lost and their delays.
Hi there. Really sorry to hear about this experience and thanks for sharing it with us. Looks like Paulie is already on your case to have this pickup issue sorted out. I used to use Sendle all the time as their pricing was great. However with added levies and fees Aus Post is MUCH cheaper, especially to more rural areas. I understand fuel costs more but when I can send a package with Sendle for $30 or Aus Post for $17 its a no brainer.
I have spoken of this before and although I understand some charge increases, it's still disappointing especially for small business. The constand social media ads for your 250g parcels services is also infuriating as it's not available to my area and I am in Metro Melbourne?
Oh well.
Thanks a lot for this feedback, Liz. With regard to sending out 250g parcels, kindly note that under your plan, at the moment, this service is available for dropoff only. Unfortunately, the Melbourne parcel was not picked up from the School - after 2 x days of waiting. Many other businesses in the Abbotsford Convent use sendle - including companies in the building right next to us! I'm uncertain of what the issues was as there was PLENTY of access - a Main Gate and entrance to the precinct is very clear.
Hi there! Really sorry to hear that your parcel was not picked up successfully this morning and that you had to cancel it. We understand how concerning this must have been for you especially when our partner courier has been able to collect packages from your collection successfully previously. We'll have this taken up with our pickup provider to understand the circumstances around this pickup. Thanks again for this feedback. We take these instances seriously and this incident has been raised with the team to help bridge any gap in the overall courier performance and to help us serve you better moving forward.
Answer: Impossible to get hold of customer service. No phone numbers and they don't respond to emails despite sending an automated response to say they will be in touch.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
