CAUTION! DO NOT BUY! I ordered yellow belly slider turtles. One dead and the other died a 6 days later. I am not a beginner turtle owner. I currently have a very healthy 4 year old YBS that I did not purchase from this company. I know turtle behavior and when I saw first, how they are shipped, in a plastic bowl with some newspaper in a beat up box, I knew I was the recipient of sick and/or dead turtles. Opened the bowl to find one DOA. The other was very lethargic, but I first passed it off to the stress of shipment. Now, 6 days later, I have another dead turtle. He never perked up, wouldn't eat, wouldn't really swim. I contacted the company by phone on the day of the arrival to report my DOA. And yesterday I emailed them because I had not heard back from anyone. The reply I got was simply "will replace". No apology, no explanation. After waking this morning, to another dead turtle, I emailed them back telling them I just want a refund. Also, my turtles were shipped via 2 day mail, NOT OVERNIGHT, as I was charged! The price on the postage was merely 6.95 while I paid 29.99 for overnight. I will follow up this review once I find out if they are actually going to refund me my money.

We ordered our turtle on January 8th, we were told based upon the shipping option we chose that It would be up to 30 days. That 30 days came and went. My wife followed up at that point and she was told it would be shipped out either that day or the next. That came and went with no response or update or anything from the customer. I followed up on the 20th of February, and I was told it was shipped out that day. The turtle finally came on February 22. It was mailed out in the worst fashion/means... it was shipped in a small packaging(I'm sure that part was correct), but than that was wrapped in newspaper, then it was put in a small box (which did have really poor scissor stabs for air holes, and then it was placed in a flat-rate 2 day shipping envelope(which had no holes). There was nothing on the packaging about "live animals." It is clearly stated when you do a basic search online, that live animals need to be shipped "one day shipping." When I called to talk to them about our experience and how it was handled, I got no apology or concern at all. I got off the phone feeling like more of a hassle, and my order was not important. We will not do business with this company again, and if they treat all their customers this same way, I am sure they will not be in business long.

I ordered some turtles tuesday morning, this pkace has the BEST PRICES AND SHIPPING so I figure wure give it a shot. I emailed him wednesday night just to make sure they would be here by the holiday weekend (3 day weekend) & I told him I read a bunch of bad reviews and I hope the transaction goes smooth because I will be a returning customer. He gets pissed off and says "dont believe the reviews, your order Is shilping tomorrow, actually, no im voiding your order"

Long story short. He probably voided my order because he could not make the shipment by the weekend. Funny how you pay for overnight shipping at UNDERGROUND REPTILES and they are at your house next morning with multiple text and email alerts. Nothing from this guy just pay and wait. Now lets see if I actually get my refund...

I ordered 2 eccies with EC shipping not knowing there were so many negative reviews for reptile city. There was some trouble with getting my card to charge but I called the given number and it was answered promptly by a genuinely sweet woman (who was patient enough to take my number down a second time later). The card's been charged and I saw where 2 eccies have been decremented from stock on the website (a good sign for me). I'm just waiting on delivery. I'm really wanting to like this company, I guess we'll see when/if the eccies get here. Will update my review accordingly, using 3 stars as a placeholder. I'm not making any judgements until after day 30. (Hoping they come thru and prove the bad reviews wrong).

Edit: I never received my order, they said they were all out and for a long while they were in fact sold out. I check the site to see if they got stock in regularly. You can also track your order, mine always said "picking" as the status. Just checked today and I cant navigate to the ecuadorian hermit crab page and my order's been erased from their order tracking system but no crabs, no package ever sent, nothing... wtf. Now going to have to call for a refund, hope that goes well, will update.

Reptilecity, HahaReptiles, and another site. This man sold me buy one get one free snakes (both of which were sick) and he tried posting on facebook that I just killed the free snake to get my money back! I had to get a vets opinion AND a lawyer so he would stop harassing me (he went to google maps and sent a screenshot of my house and was talking crap and being childish!) and give me my money back. Snakes took three days to get here, but he played it off and only sent me tracking info the day BEFORE they got here. He paid 14.00 to ship them, im surprised they were even alive when i got them. They were in little cups, as expected, but the only other packaging was some crumpled up paper no heat packs or anything! Please check out fauna classifieds to see other reviews on them. The good reviewers here simply got lucky, and im glad they did. I hate knowing this guy is still getting away with this! He was also a jerk when we were exchanging emails, i only sent him two. One asking if B1G1 salamanders (which thankfully i decided against) were shipped as male+female, and a second time asking for tracking info. He replied with "i knew youd be trouble" when referring to my two emails. Yes I was trouble. Sorry for caring about the well being of an animal! PS: He lied about his location as well, doesnt have "a few acres with warehouses" as stated. The guys from florida!

Healthy Reptiles

I was a bit worried, after my purchase, to see and hear so many negative reviews and opinions in regards to ReptileCity.com. I qualified for free shipping, 3-5 days. I recieved an email on day 5, stating my pets were shipped, and that I could pick them up from my local post office the following day at 1:30pm. I went ahead and checking the tracking number, excited my babies were on the way. Glad I did! They arrived at my post office an hour BEFORE I recieved the shipping confirmation! I quickly retrieved my package. A small box, completely sealed with tape, and no lables or warnings that it was fragile or contained live animals. Inside the box, was 4 small clear deli containers(with the 4 animals), covered in newspapers, and topped with a heating pack. 2 baby snakes, a Smooth Green and a California King, arrived active and healthy. A baby Red Ear Slider turtle, also active and healthy. And a Red Claw Emperor scorpian, who appeared dead at first, but quickly perked up when placed in his new enclosure. All 4 are doing great so far, and already eating on their second day here. All and all, I am pleased with me experience with ReptileCity, but personally feel whole shipping process could use a bit of improving.

I Ordered Three times from this company. First a male basilisk he had MBD THIN and VERY dehydrated when he arrived I was able to nurse him back to health. Then I ordered two tokays and a female basilisk. One Tokay came VERY dead so dead it was already decomposing. The other was VERY thin and dehydrated. Then the basilisk came with MBD and only a LITTLE hatch-ling when I CLEARLY asked for a larger guaranteed female. Then after only having her three days she died. Then when I asked for my money back he DID refund but left this message to me in response. "We do not want your business either - Find another reptile company to___ over" Isn't that just GREAT customer service. I WILL NEVER use them again. This place sucks and Felton Willis is VERY RUDE! WOW NEVER do buisness with this company EVER!

Asian Vine Snake, 1000 crickets, 2 nile monitor.
Purchased some reptiles from the website stating 100$ minimun for free shipping withen 3-5 days. They claim in their website that the animals are shipped with heat packs via ups, fedex, delta or airborne. Package arrived via usps with no heat pack or breath holes for ventilation a box inside a box. No live animals printed on the box to let delivery personal to handle with care. The order was on May 9th 2015, monitor lizards arrived May 20th 2015 the claimed the shipping was delayed. Research shipping address it linked back to a funeral home in Palm City Florida. Our order also included 1000 crickets and an Asian Vine snake, when we called for the crickets and Snake they were very rude, cursing and vulgar language. This was after we complained about the other animals not being here and response being from them that the Snake was a "first come first serve basis and it wasn't in stock". Website does not state this nor it did not say "out of stock". We called the first time to a response similar in regards to our order saying it will all be on the way and shipping was delayed. Felton Willis answered our calls so did a lady im assume it was Nina Baum very rude individuals and liars should have told us on the 9th date of purchase the snake wasn't avail. This company does'nt need to be in business for other people to suffer the same rude hospitality and false hopes of pets to arrive that wont arrive.

Incredibly rude
December 4, 2019

I was in the market for purchasing a particular breed of snake they had listed for sale on their site. However, no photo, not even a stock photo, is provided for the snake. Instead, it is just a piece of printer paper with a drawing of a snake and the breed name listed. I initially emailed stating my interest and requested they send photos. No photos were provided back, just a response saying "will do". After a few hours had passed without any further reply, I emailed again asking for photos. I was met with a very rude reply stating that they were busy with 200 other orders and did not have time right then to send me any. Further more, they stated that it was also not as simple as taking a photo of the snake because they are moving around and hard to capture and that they all look alike anyway. I'm sorry, lol, but I have never been met with a more ignorant response. I have yet to come across ANY online breeder that didn't provide some type of photo. Whether it be a stock photo from the internet showing a similar color and pattern of the same breed of snake, or an actual photo of the snake listed for sale. Never once until today have I seen a listing where a piece of printer paper with a drawing of a snake with the breed name listed above it, was used as a selling point. Not to mention, never have I received a response as rude and bizarre as the last one I was given about snakes moving and being hard to photograph and how they all look alike. No two snakes whether they are the same breed or not, ever look alike. If more time was needed to collect photos, then that should have been stated in a more professional manner. They just lost my business and I will look elsewhere. I won't be considering them for future business.

First off the guy is just plane rude... I'm a disabled veteran I ordered a nile monitor from there over a month ago. It was supposed to arrive on a tuesday, it didn't. So Wed I called and he gave me the excuse that the hatch he Had was bad that he was getting some in Thursday and I would receive mine the following Thursday. Did not receive it. Called Mr. Felton and he gave me the same story. He said he would refund my money. Over a week goes by and I called to ask about my refund. He said it was sitting on his desk and he Had been out of town the whole week and I would receive it in two days. Highly dought that coming from a dishonest corrupt so called american. So my next step is to fight Mr. Felton and reptile city to get it closed down just like I fought for my country. I didn't serve my country putting my body and life on the line so that low life like these people can take advantage of Americans. I will turn him in to the better business burea. I will turn him in to the general inspectors office for fraud. Then sue him for fraud and the extra stress that he has caused me and probably many more. Do not buy anything from these low life unamericans out there ripping off the innocent Americans. Its time that we as veterans and Americans stand up for our selves against Curupt people like this. Retile city has made a new enemy and I come in the from as a former United state's Marine ready to fight until they won't even be allowed to sale lemonade on the corner...
