I have made over 70 photobooks with this company. The quality is excellent. I have just finished a photography degree, and used photobox for all my printing, books and single prints. Only one book had to be reprinted, which was done quickly, book soon replaced. It does take time for delivery, so don't expect it to arrive quickly. Its always well packaged. If I have needed to speak to anyone, I have found them most helpful. I have been using photobox for a few years now. The only negative I will mention is the new studio they use for producing books manually. It's not as good as the previous studio. There are not as many options for embellishments, manipulation or photo editing. I dont tend to use the auto photo insert, which allows the programme to 'make the book' for you, as I would then spend more time adjusting which photo I want where.
Eventhough I adhered to the Photobox dates for submitting my artwork, they have now said they won't be able to deliver my books in time for Christmas. They said on the phone "we are sorry to have FAILED you and all we can do is take off the delivery costs". I feel SO disappointed as I won't have presents to give to my family at Christmas (photo album of my newborn baby), instead I have to buy additional presents or turn up empty handed. This is money I don't have as I am on maternity leave. I will NEVER use Photobox again. Their website says they will give you 110% money back if you have a smudge on your artwork. What about compensation if they miss Christmas? Offering free delivery for them being LATE is a JOKE and terrible customer service.

My order cancelled for no reason and I've still not been told why or received a refund, rang customer service several times but no one answered, no response to my emails and still every day I receive them from them with offers, pathetic customer care
I ordered a photo book paid extra for delivery, no communication. I contacted them the day before to ensure it was still arriving I was assured it was. 48 hours later I am still waiting. Contacted customer services and was told a machine has broken but they couldn't issue any form or refund or compensation. Do not use! Can't contact them on a weekend and customer service very poor when contacted them.

If you want photos printed, go elsewhere: my photos are now three weeks "in the post" and all I get from the customer helpline is another ticket number - I suspect it's a bot just providing a random string of placating numbers. Nor are Photobox interested in reimbursing me for the cost of my pictures - without an effective method of sorting out the problem, that remains unresolved - and illegal under the Sale of Goods Act of 1989.

These guys are actually good and the support is fast, the reason for 3 stars is because like all of these print companies their vouchering and marketing is quite dishonest. They email me prices and i see discount codes, but then the discounts arent eligable at the prices they email me, then if i ask live chat to enable the discount, they first double the price, then enable discount codes, so it actually works out costing more than without the voucher. If pricing was more straightforward then I'd have given more stars.

This company does not deserve even 0 star to be honest. Ordered two custom made posters just so they could cut have of the images.
Now my husband birthday gift is ruined Very poor service apparently either they are blind or they do not check what they print at all! Very very disappointed!
This company does not deliver on time even if you pay for express delivery. Use other companies, you have more chance of getting your goods when you need them.
In Dec 2015 i gave my order and paid. And, after that NEVER received anything so far. Those pics were supposed to be my Xmas present for my family and I was let down by their service. That is a shame!
Photobox has changed software without telling their customers. As a consequence old creations can't be edited and some of them not even reprinted!
They did not even tell anything before changing.
I have spend a lot of time over the last 20 years making lots of books with them and I can't use them any more. I am extremely disappointed!
I have been a customer of Photobox for over 10 years and the most part they have been fine. Two weeks ago I ordered two calendars. After the payment went through I got an offer of a voucher for £6.87, their website said:
" Click here to claim your £6.87 cashback credited onto your card…."
As I went to apply for it I noticed in very small pale grey font:
"By clicking above, you can join our partner programme for 15 pounds/month and claim your reward"
Notice they use the £ sign for the cashback offer but not for the £15 a month. Its designed to be overlooked which I nearly did. The trick is that you think you are just claiming your cashback from Photobox "credited onto your card", but in reality you are giving a company called Complete Savings your CC to take £15 every month, that's £180 a year!
If you want to see how people have been duped search for Complete Savings on this website and you will find plenty of angry customers. If you think this may have happened to you I suggest you check your CC statement ASAP.
I have contacted Photobox twice to complain over this, but guess what they never replied!
The app and the website are on different platforms. So when you've wasted your time creating a photo book on the app that doesn't work, you then have to start all over again on the website as you can't access your creation through your account. Who comes up with this?
This has been a waste of 5 hours of my life, such a shameful company.

Somebody should explain what ‘customer service means'. It does not mean talking down to your customers! Purchased a 1000 jigsaw of train network map for my 5 year old grandson. First order: station names blurry and unreadable. Second one was readable, but margins, which amounted to a third of the map simply cut off. The last time I contacted Customer services to complaint their response was to be patronising and rude. My response ‘did' they think talking down to their customers acceptable? Since then no reply, no refund, no apology. Photobox unethical and unprofessional. Tried to upload image and receipt without success unfortunately.
Pretty shocked at the poor reviews on this website. I have used them for over a decade, making 2-3 albums a year from them. Wait for when their special offers come around which do so very often - you should never pay more than £40 - £50 for a 100 page A4 personalised photobook. The software I have got used to... it can be frustrating, but once you know its nuances, you get used to it - that said, it has all changed for 2020! The final product is excellent, production and delivery quick, and customer service ok, especially on the live assistant.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. We ordered 12 x a1 size canvas prints for our new office. We ordered them all with the no wrap option (white sides) They all turned up with 95% covered edges (the white part not even in a straight line on some of them) We contacted customer services who firstly stated we ordered them with wrap. I sent them a screen shot of our order where they confirmed we had actually ordered no wrap. After numerous emails they said they would offer us a refund. However they have now refused and we will be forced to do a credit charge back. This is absolutely disgusting - I would not recommend this company to anyone. There satisfaction guarantee is a joke. They are the most unhelpful company we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you are thinking of ordering from them be warned.

Order didn't arrive due to them mixing half the delivery address with half the billing address. Wouldn't talk to me when I called to sort it out as my wife's name is on the account. My email address, my name on credit card, my name on the delivery address. Quite happy to take my money but not talking to me to sort the problem, unbelievable lack of customer service!

Took two attempts to get a photo book to me as the first one went to a different address. Picture quality is rubbish all blurred as they use card instead of photo paper. (Nothing wrong with original pictures) Not worth the price even with a 50% discount!

Picture was half the size I paid for, no frame that I paid for, no hooks, the pictures were so bright nothing like the ones uploaded, half the people in the pics were wound around the canvas so cut off, looks just awful, they won't respond or refund. Scam company just avoid.

I ordered a photo book for my first wedding anniversary and they could not deliver on time. I asked them to change the delivery to express delivery, but they wouldn't. They were condescending trying to blame me and that I should have ordered earlier even though I had ordered in the required time to get it when I needed to.
Just don't bother, go with Snapfish or someone else.

As a regular customer, I want to send an email but all I get is a message from "Phoebe". I could telephone but don't want to - an email is so simple. They send me emails - why can I not reply to them! All I want to do is re-order my latest creation. Although I have been pleased with them in the past I have come to the conclusion that they don't want to hear from me and just don't care.
Ordered a photo block, horrible finish on it an very poor quality.

Absolutely the worst product I have ever received. Picture was at a skewed angle on the frame and was over one side and not to edge on other side. Print quality was awful. Telephoned them but they refused to look into it or offer a replacement.
