The app and the website are on different platforms. So when you've wasted your time creating a photo book on the app that doesn't work, you then have to start all over again on the website as you can't access your creation through your account. Who comes up with this?
This has been a waste of 5 hours of my life, such a shameful company.
I ordered photos for the first time from photo box - I didn't receive all of the photos I ordered, there is no way of checking what you ordered. Some of the photos only had half of the picture in the print. I sent an email so I could have an explanation but have so far not received a reply. I won't use this company again.
I ordered a photo book for my first wedding anniversary and they could not deliver on time. I asked them to change the delivery to express delivery, but they wouldn't. They were condescending trying to blame me and that I should have ordered earlier even though I had ordered in the required time to get it when I needed to.
Just don't bother, go with Snapfish or someone else.
Absolutely terrible service. With the amount of times i called, not a single staff member knew what they where doing. I ordered 5 large canvases which was actually for a client. Only 3 came and 2 was missing according to a staff member but they couldn't track the item and couldn't contact the courier, which i assume is hired by photobox (evri). Unfortunately not a good experience and we spent almost £400 for 5 60 x 60 canvases, i will not be using photobox in the future. They are very unhelpful and unreliable. If you need need canvases in a time-pressured situation then Photobox is not the best for that.
I have made over 70 photobooks with this company. The quality is excellent. I have just finished a photography degree, and used photobox for all my printing, books and single prints. Only one book had to be reprinted, which was done quickly, book soon replaced.
It does take time for delivery, so don't expect it to arrive quickly. Its always well packaged. If I have needed to speak to anyone, I have found them most helpful.
I have been using photobox for a few years now. The only negative I will mention is the new studio they use for producing books manually. It's not as good as the previous studio. There are not as many options for embellishments, manipulation or photo editing.
I dont tend to use the auto photo insert, which allows the programme to 'make the book' for you, as I would then spend more time adjusting which photo I want where.
I placed an order and paid £7.99 for express delivery. When photos didn't arrive in the expected time, instead of 2days they came 5 days later. I complained but was refused a refund and they lied about what the service was.
I have been a customer of Photobox for over 10 years and the most part they have been fine. Two weeks ago I ordered two calendars. After the payment went through I got an offer of a voucher for £6.87, their website said:
" Click here to claim your £6.87 cashback credited onto your card…."
As I went to apply for it I noticed in very small pale grey font:
"By clicking above, you can join our partner programme for 15 pounds/month and claim your reward"
Notice they use the £ sign for the cashback offer but not for the £15 a month. Its designed to be overlooked which I nearly did. The trick is that you think you are just claiming your cashback from Photobox "credited onto your card", but in reality you are giving a company called Complete Savings your CC to take £15 every month, that's £180 a year!
If you want to see how people have been duped search for Complete Savings on this website and you will find plenty of angry customers. If you think this may have happened to you I suggest you check your CC statement ASAP.
I have contacted Photobox twice to complain over this, but guess what they never replied!
Absolutely the worst product I have ever received. Picture was at a skewed angle on the frame and was over one side and not to edge on other side. Print quality was awful. Telephoned them but they refused to look into it or offer a replacement.
Ordered a photo block, horrible finish on it an very poor quality.
Have tried contacting them on all social media apps.

Tried to update my calendar but its locked into unsupported software used by Photobox they said i could reprint last years but not edit it and make it 2022 version! I advised them that was not helpful he said i could recreate my calendar but not use any of the photos as they can't be accessed by me anymore. Again not useful. He then advised me that his computer has stopped working and he would call me back! I asked him if he had my number he said yes it's in front of me on my screen... oh you just told me it's not working? He put the phone down and funny enough he has not called me back. Rude, unhelpful and disgusting manners.
They have NO idea of what they do. Not clear where they are based. Items lost, shameful and not professional customer service. AVOID.
And yes, genuine review, here my tracking number to NOWHERE as they don't even know the name of the courier. UX*******FR

Size of jigsaw not appropriate. Ordered 49 piece for a child and received pieces same size as a 300 piece jigsaw. Too tiny for a child to do. I emailed and said according to a box I have from yourselves that shows the jigsaw size I have the 300 piece size, not 49. They argued this then eventually refunded the jigsaw price (I asked for a bigger size but they wouldn't do it) but I paid £6.99 for postage that wasn't refunded. So jigsaw in bin and out of pocket. Disgraceful company.
Placed order on August 4th. After 5 phone calls and three attempts by them to reprint I still have no photo book! Utterly hopeless. Nothing Customer Services can do but 'raise a request with the printing team' which they seem to do each time I call but never get a response from that team so nothing ever gets printed. At one point was told that I 'was not alone' in having this issue and suspect they are having issues with photo books across the board. I would not use them it takes a long time on your part to produce a photo book so when they are incapable of printing it then you will just become and upset and frustrated like I have
Printout was shoddy, pixilated and cheap looking. Complained to customer service and they offered a reprint. Received the reprint and was looking exactly the same as the first. Been contacting customer service for over a week trying now trying to get a refund and just being ignored. If there wasn't an offer on at the time this would of cost me £35 when I could of gone to a supermarket and got better quality for 50p! Don't waste your time or money on this company.
I ordered 82 prints from PhotoBox having used them before with no issues at a cost of £18 including delivery. The majority of prints that arrived were blurry and they took longer than usual to arrive. I emailed them and photographed the worst ones and requested the "guaranteed 110% refund". They informed me that the prints were of "medium quality" and therefore as it was not a production issue they could not refund or send reprints. They then went on to say they had placed the prints in my basket so I could check them myself. I looked at them in the basket and they had placed symbols with "medium" or "high quality image"beside each one. Interestingly two of the absolute worst quality prints had the symbol "high quality image" next to it. Explain that photobox? I ordered the same prints from the freeprints app for much cheaper, they arrived within 48 hours and were of excellent quality. Oh I should say that in the email they offered me £8 credit note to spend with them in the future. Needless to say, I will not be using PhotoBox again, not because of the poor prints but because they would not accept responsibility and they were caught out trying to fob me off.
Somebody should explain what ‘customer service means'. It does not mean talking down to your customers! Purchased a 1000 jigsaw of train network map for my 5 year old grandson. First order: station names blurry and unreadable. Second one was readable, but margins, which amounted to a third of the map simply cut off. The last time I contacted Customer services to complaint their response was to be patronising and rude. My response ‘did' they think talking down to their customers acceptable? Since then no reply, no refund, no apology. Photobox unethical and unprofessional. Tried to upload image and receipt without success unfortunately.
This company needs reporting to trading standards they are thieving scumbags imo and judging by the amount of really poor reviews on here, there's a lot of people feeling the same way. You don't take peoples hard earnt money, not deliver, and don't offer an explanation either, it really isn't on. I'm still waiting for an explanation let alone the refund.
I received my photos of a memorable day out with my family to find on opening them all they had been sent to me with heads missing and some pics with a person cut off only half their body showing in the photo. I have contacted photobox through their website and have still not reci4ved a reply or acknowledgement. I would never use them again.
