Terrible customer service!
They are either not knowledgeable about their products or just plain lie to you on the phone.
Then they don't do anything to back up their bad information.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
My husband and I tried numerous times to place an order using PayPal in January. The order did not appear to go through and we didn't get an order confirmation. Finally he got one. This happened with another order in October and I didn't get charged for those transactions, only the order confirmed and delivered. We just found out ALL of the transactions went through, yet we only got one confirmation. So 4 separate non existent transactions were paid by PayPal. Be very very careful with this company, especially if you are using PayPal for online transactions. PayPal is not consumer friendly, so I am also disputing with Discover. Glad we caught it before time elapsed.
Very disappointed in the company and its customer service. I placed an order for two chaise lounges on April 4,2020. Today is June 13,2020, and I still do not have my order. My credit card was charged (almost $3,000!) when I placed my order so they have had the free use of my money since then. I will not place an order with Patio Living again.
I have been trying to reach customer service for over a week about a current order. Online chat doesn't work. Have waited on hold several days for over an hour only to be hung up on. Sent several emails with no response. Will never order from them again or recommend them.
Placed order in April (they set expectation of 14-16 weeks) zero update until I proactively reached out inquiring bc it was past 16 weeks - then delivery magically appeared a week later. My other order placed in May have not seen or had any response from company. Lesson learned - must be squeeky wheel to get grease with this company. I ordered local to support local but clearly not worth the squeeze - their orders come from China regardless of ordering local.
They were six months late in delivering the product... btw good qualtiy product... they give you 12 hours notice it will be dropped off... 30 minutes before drop off... dont know about you but working from home and back to back zoom calls... it is a patio set delivered in october so ask them to put it in my garage... one box is damaged the largest box. Can see no cushions... need to run back to my day job... let patio living missing cushions and they send me new cushions... good work by them... two weekends later I get some help to open these large boxes (5'x4'x10'), i pull out the sofa and the leg is bent... send picture to company... call ten times on hold right now for supervisor 22 min, longest hold has been 45min and no one picked up... a supervisor never called me back... now i here after six months that I missed the cut off for reporting a damaged product by four days... needed to report it in ten days not 14... after they were six months late in delivering the product... company's are only as good as doing the right thing... BEWARE... now on hold 28 min LOL."customer service" for patio living is a misnomer!
Ordered a small patio round coffee table and it wasn't true to the color as pictured, so consequently didn't match other existing patio furniture. It was over $900 and when i returned it, I only got a $400 refund due to their outlandish fees of shipping and restocking! I would never order from this company again and neither should you.
We ordered a table 8 months ago and it has been pushed back multiple times. We finally found a table that would be an acceptable replacement and they won't switch it out for us because of the price difference. Customer support kept us on for an hour only to tell us that we would have to pay the difference for both tables. After 8 months of wait this is unacceptable. It is 700$ that has been out of our bank account. A lot we could have done with that money and now we don't even have a table and not even sure how hard it will be to get our money back at this point. Very disappointing company and experience. Do not buy from here.
I ordered a Fire Pitt, it was NOT a custom order. They said it was in stock and would ship sooner than the expected 4-6 weeks. Then oh sorry, it didn't make the truck in FL to CO. So it will ship later. I was given numerous ship dates, numerous tracking #'s, 2 different shipping companies-none of them had any knowledge of order. I spoke to Patio Living numerous times, got the run around, eventually told I could cancel the order. I did cancel over the phone... was told I had to cancel order with my credit card company, which I did. Then they said I cancelled too late. They lied to credit card company when I filed dispute. They stole 50% =$1496. 48. I sure hope they sleep well at night and no one treats them as badly as I was treated. Will NEVER buy from Patio Living again.
Waited an hour to speak to a rep when he finally came his name is tucker and he kept repeating himself over and over without listening to what I was trying to say. I wanted a umbrella that I knew wouldn't be long enough for my table according the the official numbers but wan the s anyway and he kept saying well we don't recommend it. And kept repeating himself like 5 times till he hung up. I can't believe I wasted an hour on hold to talk to that prick
This company is awful, they never answer their phones and never follow through with your order. Product was ordered over 2 months ago, has been shipped but no one will confirm where the order is now and no one will answer. Can't cancel, can't confirm can't do anything, would never order from them again. Additionally, the freight service they use is just as bad, no answer and no communication--waste of time.
We purchased two chaise lounge cushions spending over $1,200.00. The "Sunbrella" material is turning orange and is falling apart. The company is not standing by their products and in hindsight I should have "listened" to the other reviewers negative experience.
Due to Covid the cushions have only been outside one season for approximately five months.
It is so disappointing to have this company not back their products. Their excuse is the vendor only provides a one year warranty for a fabric that is supposed to last ten years. We purchased just a little over a year ago. Horrible business practices.
I bought a set of these Woodard Tucson Wrought Iron High Back Coil Spring Chairs online from PatioLiving in May 2017 because of their reputation for durability and craftsmanship. They came with a fifteen year guarantee, but I didn't think I'd ever need it because the chairs were on a covered patio and only lightly used. However, last week as I leaned back I felt a strange "pop". One of the welds at the top corner of the chair had broken. I called PL's customer service line on 8/8/23 and was later contacted by the claims team and told told to send photos of the damage. On 8/10/23 I received a follow-up email from the claims team stating that the vendor would replace the frame "on a no charge basis under warranty", but in order to get my replacement chair I needed to send a check or money order for $260.21 to the vendor to cover shipping. Oh, and if I don't send them a check for the amount in 30 days the claim will be closed out. That's some lousy warranty and even worse customer service! To be clear, I can understand the vendor wanting to re-coop the shipping cost(although this amount seems outrageous), but they are asking me to pay $260.21 because of their workmanship/quality control failure. I bought the chair once, I shouldn't have to buy it again. I would recommend not buying from PatioLiving.
I ordered an outdoor cocktail table on 6/5 and was informed that the product would ship in 1-3 business days. Just got an email saying its coming mid to late August. Have tried calling ("we have longer than usual wait times. Please stay on the line or go to our website for a live chat or to reach us online" I have been trying for days. Have "chatted" with their ROBO-CHAT service (not "live, btw)
And emailed them. They promise to get back to you in one business day. They NEVER respond. I am still on hold on the phone for the third time... I tried to wait them out but the wait time never changes... why? Because the don't give a damn about you or me.RUN! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Horrible customer service. I ordered two patio benches which required special accommodations (no signature, vacation house). PatioLiving wouldn't answer the phone and they would only respond with online Live Chat. I was told they would contact me prior to shipping to determine signature. The next call was to schedule a delivery. PatioLiving is now charging round trip shipping which comes to over 50% of the original cost. Totally unethical. I do not recommend this company!
We purchased a table and were given a shipping date. The company didn't even come close to living up to that timeline and when we called (numerous times) to complain, they just referred us to the shipper. Eventually (2 MONTHS!) we received the table. It was severely damaged in the shipping - a corner was so badly dented, the leg on that corner could not be attached. We immediately (day after delivery) filed a return claim - they made us go through several days of picture taking and back and forth before agreeing to have the shipper return for the damaged goods. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND our money until the table arrives back at their warehouse and is reviewed in person despite ample photographic evidence. We are now STILL waiting for the shipper to pick up the damaged table and out nearly $1000 in the mean time. AVOID PATIO LIVING at all cost, regardless of how good you think the pricing maybe, and I would also avoid AGS shipping.
Ordered a pricey umbrella in early June. Was told it would ship July 16. Never came and wasn't updated on status. Emailed 3 times no reply. Called and waited on hold 40 minutes, being told wait time was 8 minutes. Finally a human and she said it would ship July 27... She had no answers other than Covid. Tried to buy from a business in the USA and this is what I get. Back to Amazon
I know we are in a pandemic, but there should be SOMEONE to answer the phone. I placed an expensive order almost 4 weeks ago, and I have had NO estimated delivery time yet on this "quick ship" item. No one answers the phone nor the online chat, nor my two emails to customer service.
Ordered $2000 worth of furniture that was supposed to arrive in two weeks. 10 days later, was emailed that they were out of stock and would refund. Not sure why it would take 10 days to figure out that they were out of stock when I should have been receiving the furniture in the next four days.
