Very slow and poor assist from support even prime member support is very bad. They wastle time without resolving problem on time.
Opodo withdrawed 300€ from my account on tip of the ticket price and even after 4 month of calls (about 30 calls) never returned the money

Absolutely awful, Have never experience customer services like this, After my flight was cancelled from Tokyo to Hiroshima, I contact them to rearrange my flight, everything seem ok at first, I was total it was pass on the right department and to expect an e mail, with details to rearrange the flight, I should receive with in the next 6 hours.
12 hours later called again, Was greeted by a very rude member of the team, who told me i was lying and the flight was planned to take off, even though the flight was scheduled early that day and had pass, who then cut me off,
Called back, was total it was being dealt with, it can take up to 24hours, please wait
24 hours later, Nothing, Called again,
Spoke with a gentleman, who advised me this should have not happed he will now deal with case, put me on hold, he then advise me he need to make a few phone call to get this arrange, can he call me back in 2 hours, with all the details and new flight plan,
3 hours later, Nothing, called back to which this time, I was total there was no record of the flight, I asked to speak the supervisor, who could not be found, i then asked for a refund to which i was total the refund office was busy, he then said he would get his supervisor, which he then put me on hold and cut me off.
In total i have spent over 6 hours on the line, with no flight to show for it,
They are actually breaking the law by not providing a new flight, I have asked a lawyer friend for legal advise,

I booked a trip with Opodo *******772) in January 2022. I clicked pay, reasonably happy with the cost. When the money left my account it had gone up by over £70 from what I'd accepted paying. I called and the individual on the phone was powerless to do anything, didn't really listen to what I was saying and couldn't pass me onto someone who could help.
After an hour of my time had been wasted, I was told that the quickest way to deal with it would be to log a complaint online (case ******* for anyone from Opodo who may read this). I logged the complaint and heard nothing back, but emailed a couple more times to explain that I wanted this dealt with before I went on holiday.
After hearing nothing for two weeks, whilst still on holiday, I got in touch again and spoke to someone online. Again, he was completely useless, despite starting the conversation with "I'll do whatever needs to be done to help". He informed me that it takes 21 days to respond to a complaint. Why I wasn't told this on the phone, after my complaint was logged or in response to my numerous emails, I don't know.
So, here we are... 21 days later. I'm unsure how it is so difficult to speak to someone who actually knows what they're talking about. When you purchase "Prime" you are meant to have the best customer service possible; I cannot imagine what it'd be like for anyone who hadn't purchased Prime.
In summary, the £70 wasn't a great issue. But, the fact that I have wasted so much time, thought about this throughout my holiday, been lied to and still haven't got a response is an issue. I would never use them again as they do not value their customers and are, quite frankly, useless.
HORRIFIC SERVICE
WOULD EVEN RATE ONE STAR, After having a flight cancelled only to find out by calling to get flight details I was told someone would contact me 72 hours. Had no response I called to change the flight 1 HOUR WAITING TIME EACH TIME. Travel agent then moved my flight home via singapore, I asked if this was safe for me to fly to as I am 12 weeks pregnant. I then found out this airport is second most dangerous to fly to with the coronovirus. I called Opodo to cancel as the stress of this all I wanted a refund which I paid an extra £130 to have CANCEL AT ANY TIME ANY REASON insurance to then be told it wasnt valid on cancelled flights! Ok fine but I had rebooked a flight so how was this not valid I had a scheduled flight! I have now been told I have to wait 90 days for a full refund 3 MONTHS! So I have paid all this money for what! SCAM SCAM SCAM

After paying a huge amount for your flight ticket - It is not possible to get any help or assistance from Opodo.
First, I have been trying to call them. Multiple times, I have waited in their line for more than one hour. No response.
Then, I decided to write them an email - but there is no email address listed on their website.
Then, I decided to contact them through facebook messenger. At first, I was really happy as an employee helped me after a few minutes with a few questions. When I told them I wanted to claim back my taxes and subcharges of my ticket price, the employee first told me that my ticket is non-refundable, and thus, I cannot get anything back once I decide to cancel my tickets. When I told them that they are legally obliged to pay back taxes and subcharges - even when the ticket is non-refundable (AirFrance, the airline I am flying with, confirmed), the employee finally agreed. He or she promised me to get back to me in 24 hours with the total amount of taxes and subcharges I could claim back if I would cancel my ticket (based on this I wanted to decide whether or not to cancel).
48 hours later, I did not receive anything from Opodo. I sent them another message through Facebook chat. When I told them about my issue, and that I did not hear anything, they immediately terminated the chat and redirected me to the chatbot. I have started more than 20 chats through messenger now, but every time the subject of claiming back the taxes comes up, they terminate the chat.
Do not make the mistake to book with Opodo - as they do not keep promises, try to mislead you and wrongfully keep your money!
I have booked a car using a live chat with an agent.
First the agent, after all my requirements had offered me a car for 163 eur and after I said the price offer is two times more expensive than avarage on the website he offered me a similar car for 106 eur so they really not provide the best offers for the clients! Be aware!
Then I specifically ask what is the fee for crossing the border with a renewed car and o have need informed it's 40 eur.
So I asked the agent where I can read all the details of the agreement and reservation and he told me you will get all the details after making a payment! What?!?! Details of the deal after the payment… seriously?! But okey… I have a free cancellation so let's do it…
After I booked and paid I got a general conditions and a direct contact to the supplier who informed me that the fee for crossing the border is 75 eur! I told him that I have been informed by Opodo is 40 eur and he just simply told me they are wrong and they made a mistake.
After talking to Opodo on chat and on their phone number *******884 where the not necessarily nice lady just keep repeating that we have informed you in several emails that different terms may change and they don't take the responsibility for that. And she didn't understand that any terms haven't changed! This fee was the same from the beginning but they simply misinformed me just to "give me a nicer offer".
And there is no any kind of rehabilitation from their side but they are very well trained with saying "we are very sorry and we can imagine how frustrated it's for you" so I can only imagine how much reclamations they have…
Highly don't recommend to use this portal!
A very big scam!
Opodo tried for 2 hours to cheat me out of the full refund that I was entitled to and in the end charged me 50 pounds for it.
I wanted to cancel a reservation that was made online the previous night. Both airlines that I was using do this with no issues in less than 5 minutes. The airlines policy is that you can have dull free refund if the claim is made within 24h of booking.
Opodo insisted they couldn't do it and that the airlines would not refund them. I had to call the airlines myself and they confirmed they would do the refund to Opodo.
Opodo then said they had a "same-day" policy not a 24-hour policy so they still wouldn't do it. Unbelievable because their service line is only open until 6pm so all reservations made between 6pm and 11:50pm cannot be cancelled on the same day.
Interestingly, I then noticed that my reservation confirmation was time stamped with mid-night so I was in fact in the same day. They had no reason not to have done the refund when I called the 1st time!
I put this to them and yhey answered that in their system it showed 11:59pm
So they were still not going to cancel it.
After a lot of discussions they finally said they would refund me but would collect a 50GBP for the service... What service I wonder?

I checked the destinations and date to assure everything was correct before selecting my flight. When I finalized payment, it came back confirming a different destination than I had chosen, and approved. Clearly this was a glitch on behalf of the app, a trick of changing destinations that swindle money from its users, or if not honored, needs serious attention. My flight is not for two months, but I called immediately to have this rectified. I called Opodo in London, and got an operator out of India. This man refused, REFUSED, to let me speak to a manager. He would not rectify my issue. He said I had to call the airline myself. Again, I insisted I speak to a manager. He refused again, but said he would call the airline himself. He came back and said the airline was closed. He would not issue me a refund. Again, he refused to let me speak to a manager, and then, said I had to call the airline myself. This is the SINGLE WORST THIRD PARTY SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED, and I have used them all! UNCONSCIONABLE behavior. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

This is the worst travel organisation I've ever experienced. I bought a ticket on Opodo, paid for it (have the receipt) but never received my ticket as the confirmation email said I needed to check in on the airport. When I was at the airport to check in, my Opodo booking wasn't recognized and they didn't let me on the plane. They said this happens a lot with this organisation. So I had to buy a last minute ticket from Transavia for a ridiculous amount and it made me almost miss my flight. The same thing happened on the way back. I tried to reach them many times but they don't have proper customer service: you cannot reach them by phone and they don't even have an email address. They only have some sort of ridiculous robot chat box that doesn't understand a word you say. I requested a refund through this "robot" and then months later I received an email saying I don't get a refund because apparently my plane left and I wasn't on it. It was a no-reply email address with no alternative email address or contact details so I haven't been able to tell them that I WAS ON THE PLANE but not in my original seat because their stupid organisation screwed up by not confirming the booking so I had to buy a new ticket to get a new seat. I still haven't been able to reach them since. This joke cost me a lot of money and didn't give me anything other than stress. I booked flights at the beginning of August 2019, and at the end of October 2019 I received an email from Opodo saying that there had been a major schedule change to my flights and to contact them to discuss options. I called straight away and the advisor asked if this was suitable, as the return flight had been moved 24 hours back and I said no, this isn't suitable, I have to get back for work commitments. I was told that Opodo would ask the airline if there were any alternatives available, and I would receive a call back within 24-48 hours. 3 weeks later, still no call back so I contacted them again and they said the airline had no alternative so I requested a full refund of the flights so I could rebook flights that suit my schedule. Again I was told I'd receive a call back within 24-48 hours, and again this didn't happen. I decided to open a Resolver case against them and was met with zero help, and after more calls and live chats with customer services (at least 10 different times I contacted them), I'd had no call backs and no more information. I then tried to contact the airline who just pointed the finger of blame at Opodo. They were just blaming each other. At this point (then mid January) I decided to take my case to PayPal (I paid via PayPal) and raise a case for a refund. I raised this on 19/01/2020, and explained the situation, with screenshots and evidence attached. I don't know if Opodo ever replied to PayPal's request for information, but yesterday, 09/02/2020, PayPal ruled in my favour and gave me the full refund. So I can finally book new flights for the end of February!
All in all, terrible experience with Opodo, with zero support and no contact even after multiple promises.
They hang you for hours on the phone without anwsering, no emails are provided. Totally scam. Run away from them!

The most incompetent service I ever experienced. Because of a change in my flight timetable - which know forces me to stay one night in Nairobi with the implied additional costs - I had to call more than 10 times and the process is lasting more than 2 weeks. I had to wait more than 10 minutes on the phone in at least 4 or 5 occasions to then give up. They forwarded me to other departments which then did not hear me on the phone or just did not pick up. You cannot get in touch with the airline yourself, they have to do it, what just adds more links in the communication chain and therefore inefficiencies. Even worse, they make YOU call them to confirm THEIR changes (no email option, of course). Moreover, they sent me a very confusing email canceling my flight outbound flight on the 17th of October - when my flight was actually on the 18th of October. The best: they still asked you to call them if you wanted a reimbursement - seriously? And, yes, EVERYTHING IS STILL IN PROCESS. I still do not have an email or something written that confirms the flight timetable, even though they told me on the phone that they would send me a confirmation email in 24h, and I am flying in 2 weeks. I LOST A LOT OF TIME WHICH IS MONEY AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN WRITTEN FORM THAT CONFIRMS MY FLIGHT. They surely are keeping my money, though!
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
