I cancelled a flight following it being brought forward by 1 day. Thomas Cook refunded Opodo the same day. Opodo tells me it's 20 working days for a refund. 20 working days to do an electronic transfer of over £540! What a joke. Will never use them again.
Opodo confirmed our flights and then cancelled them without informing us, denying responsibility and hanging up on me 10 mins before check in after being on the phone with their call centre for an hour at the airport.
We arrived at the airport and the airline (Aer Lingus/British airways) said that our booking was voided by opodo although I was still receiving emails from Opodo and the airline insinuating that we were still on the flight (including an email stating check in was open), and the airline app still had us on the flight.
Called Opodo for an hour at the airport who said there was nothing they could do and that we would need to pay an extra £250 each one way ontop of the initial £220 for a flight to Dublin. I said that they need to contact the airline to resolve the situation, as we still had seats on the flights per the airline, which just needed to be confirmed by Opodo (as they had confirmed with us) to which they said they would do, put me on hold and then hung up with only 10 minutes remaining until the gate closed.
This is completely unacceptable and the airline informed us this has happened numerous times and I have since found many others who have had similar situations with Opodo. DO NOT USE OPODO.
I booked a flight with opodo they sent me confirmation but reakised they only done one way baggage, so I phoned them the same day and they said my flights have been cancelled and they will refund my money within 7 days,
Sent emails one reply they will look into this sent another email no reply 8 days later I phoned them and they said it will be another 10 days before I get my money back, im waiting for a supervisor to get back to me,
So if I never phoned about the baggage I would still think I had flights as I got a email confirmation, but never got one for the cancellation,

Our flight was cancelled but we never got a notification of it and were only told so when we arrived at the airport. We were told by the airline that Opodo cancelled the booking. They were offering seats that the airline didn't actually release to them at the offered price so when they couldn't honour the booking they cancelled it. Never bothered to tell us. Completely unacceptable! The reason for the cancellation we got from Opodo was that due to the booking being for flights departing within 24 hours some of airlines don't confirm them in time, but some do. If there are airlines that don't confirm flight that are within 24 hours they should not be offering them or at least tell the person booking that they are risking not getting the flight! NEVER TO BE USED AGAIN!

Booked flights, next day received an email advising of a "security issue" with my card and the tickets cancelled. Aside from the panic of wondering if my card details had been stolen I also had to deal with finding a different flight with no money in the bank. Took days to be refunded and even then it was for the wrong (lesser) amount, citing differences in the exchange rate, which was actually in my favour.
Responding to Opodo that is the most non sequitur response possible. The money was taken from my account with no issue, there was no possible chance of there being any fraud on my account (except from Opodo) and even if there was, then why the difference in refund (of -5%) when it would have as told to me by customer service, due to "exchange rate differences" actually been +1%. Be honest, people aren't that stupid or uninformed. I bought the tickets, Oporto didn't have them to sell, made an excuse, kept a chunk of the money I gave them in fair faith and continue to blame their customers for their fraudulent business. Admit your actions, apologise and at least die with dignity.

Booked my fligths with opodo, when I get to the counter I get notified b the airline that I have no tickets because there was a problem with the charge, Opodo charge my card and then they payed for my tickets with they business account and off course the charge didnt go through.
Even though I had no tickets and had to buy new ones at the moment of my flight for double the money, Opodo still had the balls to charge me.
I have already sent them 25 emails in total and made 3 calls to them.
After some time they refounded me for abour 15% of the charge, After I blasted them on all the review sites they finally reached out to me and told me I would get a full refund.
They had me send them all my bank information, after about 3 weeks, they sent the money and then immediately took withdraw it, So I got no refund and I actually got charged a comission from my bank for the transfer they ended up withdrawing.
I ended up with multiple charged on my account because of them, and of course since then they disappeared from the map and havent answered a single one of my emails.
DO NOT BOOK WITH OPODO, biggest mistake of my life

Booked flights as was overcharged £205 rang them up and took a screen shot of the price breakdown they first said that's the price then said after seeing the screenshot they would refund me but it would take up to 20 days I said can I have this in writing they said they cant send emails... don't believe anything they say cowboy company

As The airline told me, opodo charged my card and they Pay with their corporate card to the airline.
I made my booking with Opodo, I arrive to the aipprt an they tell me that I have no tickets because there was a problem with the credit card that made the purchase, however my card was charge fully (520£).
Opodo refunded me only 200£, and not to mention that I had to buy a brand new ticket at the airport since mine was cancelled by Opodo last minute.
I have wrote 4 emails and called twice, I have gotten not one single contact or answer from them, when I call them they tell me someone will contact me in 48 hours and it has been weeks.
Not to mention that to call them you have to call a UK number which they charge for.

I got a quote for 3 flights and an additional charge was added to my final figure (3x £16) for what are supposed to be charges for using a low cost airline. I've since gone to flybe direct and on their website there is no such fee. And I've just gone back onto the Opodo website and got another quote and the fee/s were not added this time around, so must be sneaked on just before you buy. Avoid Opodo at all costs..
Absolutely vile service. They booked one-way flight instead of two-ways, the second flight is still 'pending' - while I cannot cancel the outbound flight without 25 pounds cancellation fee! Plus an 18 pound 'service charge' which was NEVER mentioned on the flight price until you put in the card details. Disgusting and appalling. Never ever deal with these people if you can avoid it.
I had a duplication book because their website was not working well and they still charged me £25 administration fee + £25 cancellation penalty even if it was not my fault!
Sometimes is better pay a little bit more and have a good service.
As soon as you enter your card details they will add on an extra cost. When i added my card details it jumper from £160 pp to £186 pp - so an extra £26 odd pp - even though it states you will only be charged approx £8 for using that type of card - absolute joke. I have used them plenty of times in the past and never had this issue so must be a relatively new trick they have started using. I of course did not notice that the amount jumped up 50 odd quid and booked it. Will NEVER use Opodo again.
Opodo booking system is faulty, it gives you a message to say payment is not processed wth no confirmation then still proceeds to take money from your account and they refuse to refund for their error. Disgraceful customer service, generic responses or holding and toe the party line of 'we don't give refunds' despite their errors. Don't use this app.
Worst customer service ever! Charged me twice for a plane ticket, and then didn't issue the ticket! Four hours (5 calls) on the phone and 7 unanswered emails to get one plane ticket issued, and to get my money back for their mistake. Argh! Totally disappointed. AND, the guy on the phone was a jerk. He blamed the problems on the website, and said he couldn't do anything about it. WHAT?!?!
Truly they are the biggest thieves out there once you are victim then one will certainly wake from a dreadful dream. They don't refund my tax, they provide me once refrence that left me stranded two days at the airport l was not on the airline system. Sadly after 3 occassions the lesson has been learned
Booking on Opodo applied an additional service free of £16 per ticket and removed a discount at the last minute AS PAYMENT WAS BEING MADE. The response to the complaint was they never offer refunds under any circumstances. Will never use again
In the beginning, I was using skyscanner to find airplane ticket. At the cheapest search I found was offered by opodo. At the same time, their advertisement was so tricky that it was very obvious on the right and changed destination according to my search in skyscanner. Also, you will get the same results either you click the select button or advertisement logo. The only difference is the price is a couple pounds cheaper by using the advertisement link. I thought opodo is quite clever and try to take advantage from skyscanner and I tried to book it because of the two pounds cheaper. However, at the final payment, it charged extra £2.2 x 2 + £4.7 x 2 for using card. Whatever, every website will charge a bit different, just only this 8% is a bit more than the others. After the payment, I received the confirmation e-mail which is different from the date of the flight I finally chose. After I contact them through e-mail, they asked me to provide screen shot in order to investigate. So, they don't need to investigate their problem because I didn't take screen shot. They also put error message to temporarily fix the bug. I suggest to avoid this website.
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
Answer: You can complain all you like but once they have your money they dont give a tinkers cuss. Best form of complaint is social media like this site and face book.
