My flight was cancelled İstanbul ordu 2th of February and they don't pay my money back. The costumersevice is terrible. If you know the flight is cancelled why don't you pay that money back Opodo? Turkish Airlines give you that money to pay me! Never again here
We booked a flight and hotel to London for June last year. Flight was cancelled due to Covid but trying to find a contact number for them was really difficult. Eventually contacted them and they said they would refund our payment within 90 days. After several more calls we eventually got some of the money back. They told us they were waiting for the airline to refund them. Fast forward to February and we still hadn't got our money- they then told us we would have to contact the airline ourselves.
They don't keep you informed of any progress and getting through to them is a nightmare- avoid OPODO at all costs!
I made 2x one letter spelling mistakes on a booking for 7 people flying Manchester to Miami. Opodo will not help and the airlines BA Virgin can't because booked through agent. Not due to travel until December but very worried, been trying for 5 weeks to find out how to solve this. Understand there will be a fee, happy to pay it, but have no way to do it.
I booked flexible ticket through opodo prime. On my return journey the airline postponed the flight twice on scheduled date. But, opodo instead of helping me they charged me with penalty twice (£320+£320). Every time i call them to rebook they pretended like they are in contact with airline to rebook the ticket. But, that was their tactic to frustrate me to force me to pay penalty. Many days were wasted in waiting and i finally paid penalty twice. Once i returned back, i filed formal complaint, they opened a case to investigate but they never replied even after i sent many follow up emails and waited for a month. Absolute scammers. I will avoid next time, also advice others to avoid booking through this company.

Took my money. Refusing to provide the refund. I booked my flight over a year and two months ago and been requesting a refund for 10 months.
The airline told me they had sent the refund to Opodo and Opodo keep saying the same thing "request you to wait we've contacted the airline". I have been onto them every week. They have no intention of giving a refund ever.

I bought my ticket via Opodo. The flight company cancelled the flight, and I received an e-mail and a call from the Flight company to inform me. Problem is, in the Website of Opodo the flight was confirmed till the end. In the website of course I couldn't do anything as long as the flight is confirmed; So I called the Customer service (they didn't know about the cancellation), then began a long story including multiple calls for reimbursement claim: send us this, confirm this, tell us this. At the End they told me that my request is registered and that I have to wait till 6 Months to be refunded
I had a very bad experience with opodo service.
I had 2 flights booked via Opodo service.
It was two connection flights from Lahore(Pakistan) to Dubai (UAE) and from Dubai (UAE) to Kyiv (Ukraine).
When my flight on 15 February (Sunday)from Lahore to Dubai was delayed for 11 hours and I was not able to catch my next flight from Dubai to Kyiv, Opodo customer service was not able to help me with rebooking (flight from Dubai to Kyiv) as the working hours of opodo hotline service were only from Monday till Friday. So I was not able to contact them on Sunday concerning my next flight rebooking and my money for a next flight from Dubai to Lahore were lost/wasted.
Opodo didn't assist me on time with my flight rebooking.
My flight was cancelled on june20 and I am still waiting for refund even after 9 month. Service are really poor -- whenever i call them they escalate my case but didn't do anything. Believe me, don't use this company
2020 was a difficult year - I get that. I also get that we need to be more tolerant when dealing with the travel industry - but despite all of that I can think of very few positives from my dealings with Opodo.
Our flights were cancelled by the airline, it happens - but I had to make so many calls before I finally spoke to someone that actually did anything... despite so many promises.
When we did finally get a refund we only received the cost that Opodo had paid the airline (and eventually our insurance). They refused to refund anything else saying that they were on-line services and were not refundable... We were prepared to accept that some admin costs might not be refunded, but included amongst the various on-line services they refused to refund was the cost for our baggage to go on the flight that never happened!
We have finally given up chasing them as the stress/hassle is not worth it - so have written this off and moved on.
One things for sure, Opodo will never darken our door again - There are so many more companies deserving of everyone's business

I will never use Opodo again, at every opportunity they take excess money off you when Change booking particularly in these difficult COVID times. You are better off booking direct with the airline. Prime membership offers you no benefit and the Indian phone call staff have a script aimed at being very apologetic but intent in making life as difficult as possible. My on line management booking is inaccessible because it is stuck on a previous enquiry and not updated. The couple travelling with us requested a 26 December booking but got a 26th January booking meaning they were travelling back before they left. There is much more - never, never again. I will post this review elsewhere as well to ensure others don't get caught by Opodo's money grabbing policy
If it was possible, I would give it zero stars. I understand that this year has been hard for travel companies but that does not excuse Opodo's complete lack of customer service. I booked flights to the USA before Covid started but the trip was cancelled due to lockdown. Even though my flights were cancelled, Opodo sent me no notification of this so I had no proof they had been cancelled. It took me hours and hours of phone calls for my refund to begin processing and I was told it would take up to 3 months for me to receive it. 3 months later I still haven't received it and opodo have removed their phone number so the only way of the contacting them is the almost useless online bot. After writing to them a couple of times, I ended up having to file a money claim through the courts to get my refund as what they were doing was illegal. Even that didn't work and only received the refund once a bailiff was sent round to their office to collect it. It took 8 months, numerous phone calls and court forms, and a lot of stress for me to get my refund. I regret ever using Opodo and advise against even considering using them.

Part of my flight was cancelled made my own way to LHR. Was told ticket needed reissuing by Opodo who then told me after 30 mins on the phone airline changed flight so they have to reissue. No one could tell me why it was being reissued and both companys (Qatar/Opodo) wanted to charge me again for a ticket I had aready paid for? Ended paying but by this time missed flight. NEVER AGAIN still trying to find out who, if anyone has my money.
AVOID! No customer contact number, hidden terms and conditions, terrible experience. Will never use or be ripped off by Opodo again.

BSOLUTE SCAM
This is the worst travel organisation I've ever experienced. I bought a ticket on Opodo, paid for it (have the receipt) but never received my ticket as the confirmation email said I needed to check in on the airport. When I was at the airport to check in, my Opodo booking wasn't recognized and they didn't let me on the plane. They said this happens a lot with this organisation. So I had to buy a last minute ticket from Transavia for a ridiculous amount and it made me almost miss my flight. The same thing happened on the way back. I tried to reach them many times but they don't have proper customer service: you cannot reach them by phone and they don't even have an email address. They only have some sort of ridiculous robot chat box that doesn't understand a word you say. I requested a refund through this "robot" and then months later I received an email saying I don't get a refund because apparently my plane left and I wasn't on it. It was a no-reply email address with no alternative email address or contact details so I haven't been able to tell them that I WAS ON THE PLANE but not in my original seat because their stupid organisation screwed up by not confirming the booking so I had to buy a new ticket to get a new seat. I still haven't been able to reach them since. This joke cost me a lot of money and didn't give me anything other than stress. It is an ABSOLUTE SCAM - DON'T BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE or you get screwed over like I was
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
