Confirmation, wrong month!, I had no interest in any other month, yes you guested it! Had to pay extra, Dearer for july than Aug in The Algarve? Opodo ref stayed the same & so did the Ryanair Ref, I used a ladtop and found their site extra sensitive & not user friendly.
It's my second experience of this kind: I bought a ticket with priority option for a carry on up to 10 kg ( Eurowings) but on the issued boarding pass I belong to the group 2 and my carry on is not allowed on the flight, so I had to pay for it once again in the airport. I'm will publish this case in all review platforms about oppodo in the internet.
The airline had changed one of my flights which meant that I would have missed my connecting flight. Opodo didn't bother to tell me, I found out by chance.
The process of changing my flight was the most appalling customer experience I have ever had. I literally had to spend hours on the phone and I finally fixed the issue directly through the airline (who took pity on me).
Frequently I was put on hold and then forgotten.
They really don't have a right to be in business.

I booked a trip to London from Tenerife on Monday this week. When I received the email from them, the return flight was confirmed however the departure flight was pending for confirmation. I thought it was just a matter of time to get it confirmed, nonetheless, one day before traveling with them I didn't have a confirmation yet so I decided to call. What a surprise I got when they said my flight won't get confirmed and I had to sort myself out somehow!

Truly they are the biggest thieves out there once you are victim then one will certainly wake from a dreadful dream. They don't refund my tax, they provide me once refrence that left me stranded two days at the airport l was not on the airline system. Sadly after 3 occassions the lesson has been learned
I booked with opodo awaiting confirmation. Theyd processed my payment and for some unknown reason rejected my payment. Then they tried to process it at a later time but got declined therefore cancelling my booking. Upon investigation with my bank I was advised the above and that I would need to wait 10 working days for the funds to be refunded back to my account. When trying to approach opodo several times I got hand balled to machines and waiting in lines unattended. Who even know if Ill be refunded at this stage because I keep getting told they never processed my card! Furious to say the least and will never recommend this service EVER! I want my money back! This company needs to be SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!

I bought my tickets through opodo, and add a 61 euro insurence for flexible flight dates.
When tried to use it, was told i can't. Tried speaking with different costumer server people with same result. Not once was i offered an explanation. When asked they just said that's the way it is

Books a flight for a surprise holiday for my wife and myself with Easy Jet through Opodo,.
Understood there would be a small service charge imagine my surprise when my card bill showed an increase of £50-00p + the card fee, contacted Opodo they stated this price was shown on the conformation, I couldn`t find it, sent another "E" mail to them advising this guess what a conformation suddenly appeared showing the addition of the £50-00p.
I for one will never use this company again!
I booked a flight and i tripled checked the final price before payment. After payment i noticed they charged me extra 54 euros. I found out that it is a free cancellation guarantee which i never asked for and was never presented by them before they charged it. Customer service is unreachable. They are a joke.
UPDATE: Took them to the Small Claims Court, and they did not respond apart from asking for bank account details to pay me but nothing happened for almost 2 weeks. And last Sunday I made a request to the court to make a CCJ. Guess what, they settled the whole amount plus interest and the court application fee. And the best part is that I did it myself, all online via the money claims service website. It took about 2 months. So don't waste your time, get online and make claim to the small claims court.
Paid for a return flight ticket on 13/10/2021 to fly on 10/11/2021. Tried to check-in online on the evening of 09/11/2021 but couldn't because the airlines' website wouldn't recognise the reference number opodo provided, contacted customer services via their app, they kept me waiting for a very long time and suddenly received an email saying the airline cancelled my flight and offered me a rescheduling or a refund and I opted for refund. 4 months on (15/03/2022) and nothing heard, contacted them today and now they are saying the flight was changed and the ticket was non-refundable therefore the airline didn't allow them to refund.
All in all, a very dishonest way of conning people out of their money.
Just stay away from this lot. They are now a none UK / Spanish company (bought by eDreams apparently) and not in the ATOL. And we all know what that means.
What is it the UK authorities waiting to ban this scrupulous outfit from trading in the UK?

Air line already refund money because I was not able to travel an airline send receipt to me as well. Every time when I call them Opoodo and edreams are sister company and they making every time excuses that they not get money from airline. There is any way that I can contact to company house and they should be stop working in UK.
Booked a car, payed for prime insurance. End of the day I was late to the desk and haven't got the car neither any refund or discount for a new booking. Stuff by the desk wasn't interested in helping or solving the issue. Great start of the holiday.
Scam! Don't book with them! They didn't refund my airplane tickets after I had canceled the travel due to medical issues. They Cannot be contacted by email. You can « talk » with them only by chat. As you can see, on the receipt there is no mention such « ticket nonrefundable ». Although, they said that my ticket is nonrefundable, and they will not refund me the ticket.

I think there is something not right with their booking system... I am very very careful with booking flights and I always double check the dates and the flight times when booking.
I was directed to Opodo from kayak for the dates and times that I wanted (I checked). I proceeded to enter my passenger and payment information. After payment, i received a confirmation but one of the return flights was different resulting in 13-hour layover time (in the original ticket it was 6 and a half hours). I used their 'free cancellation within 1 hour" option and cancelled it immediately online. They promise to fully refund me within 10 days. My advice is don't use them but if you decide to, then sae all the screenshots at every step of the booking process.

Short story, I booked a ticket via Opodo with British Airways. There was a clear message saying that I can add a baggage after the booking without any condition.
The day before I've tried to add baggage but I'm unable to do it.
I've spent 4 hours with the customer service on the phone and all they could confirm is that "They are sorry for giving a wrong information and they can do nothing for me" and "I can add baggage in the airport" without giving any guarantee that I can do it, and without details on the cost price.
Knowing that I have 60kg baggage, I don't want to take a risk and go blindly to the airport.
As a result, I'll need to book another ticket, take 1 or 2 more nights in the hotel in London, and I don't talk about the waste of time and energy, stress and other prejudice.
Anyway I've recorded the conversation, I'll take Opodo to court
Opodo and their insurance partner company eDreams have the worst customer service in the world! If you buy an insured ticked, don't ever expect to see your money back, because you won't! However, they will make sure that you lose tons of your time and nerves while they are shifting responsibility, making you talk to idiotic chatbots until you go insane and finally give up, letting them keep the money they owe you, so you can have your peace of mind again. This is criminal and I am wondering how much money they stole from their customers so far. Probably billions. Criminal companies both Opodo and eDreams. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH!
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Please please don't book through Opodo. You might save a small amount of money but if anything goes wrong you will feel abandoned. Holding for hours and hours on the phone. Hours more once we got through to 'customer services' trying to get them to resolve a problem of their making... the day before we're due to travel. So stressful. Holiday of a lifetime already ruined by this appalling company. Gone 1am in the morning and still we wait for them to sort out their mess.
I have purchased the tickets from opodo. First time i did a mistake. I had issues with flights. My first flight was delayed subsequently the next was missed and so on. Later i had to purchase the new ticket. Keeping in mind all the aspects i purchased insurance from opodo. Later i claimed the insurance. It was revealed to me that i have purchased a fake insurance. Opodo sold me fake insurance number. After my so many complains they didn't even bother to sorry! I am opening a law suit against them.
There was an error so they couldn't finish my booking but still charged my card. The problem is that it is impossible to contact them without a booking reference number. What a $#*!ty service! Never use them, it's a scam
Never trust this company to rent a car.
We rented a car on opodo website through global company for one week. At the desk we find that our bank card will not be accepted. Three other families were in the same situation the same hour! Right! At The Same time.
For which reason: your card is a debit card, not a credit card to pay the insurance that we already paid online. We have used the same debit card to reserve this car online and it was accepted with no problem but at the desk they refuse. Global company and opodo didn't accept to refund our money. Because of this we lost 190€ with no car.
To appreciate our trip and forget this episode we rented a car with a professional company. So I really don't recommend global company to rent.
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
Answer: You can complain all you like but once they have your money they dont give a tinkers cuss. Best form of complaint is social media like this site and face book.
