They say you need wait 30 days, 30 days goes by and nothing, you chase them, they then say you need to wait 90 days after the trip, 90 days goes by, nothing! Having verbally agreed a full refund, we are now 18 months later (yes 18 months) and still nothing. Not one update, not one call, email or message. Awful company, don't use them unless you can guarantee no issues. They hide behind the airlines and state in their T&Cs that your contract is with the Airline and not them!

Don't use Opodo for Ski transfer in France. They offer the service then seem to outsource it to a limo company in the US, and also the contact for the service from Opodo is in the US. I booked two taxies from Grenobe to La La PLagne and back. Neither showed up and I spent 4 hours on a call with Opodo to try and find out if the return taxi was going to happen. They could give me no assurances but a load of false promises right up until the moment (the night before an early start) when they cancelled it. That was a week ago I'm still waiting for my refund. I submitted a complaint and heard nothing, except a weird note saying this was not personal. My point to them that they had no way or resources to provide this service and should not offer it. I'll never use this lot again for anything.
I got a quote for 3 flights and an additional charge was added to my final figure (3x £16) for what are supposed to be charges for using a low cost airline. I've since gone to flybe direct and on their website there is no such fee. And I've just gone back onto the Opodo website and got another quote and the fee/s were not added this time around, so must be sneaked on just before you buy. Avoid Opodo at all costs..
Beware! This is a ripoff! I booked a return flight from London (coming from Canada) to Manchester as my mother was placed on end of life and with the understanding I could cancel the return flight depending on how things went. Sadly my mother passed away and I needed to cancel my return flight. I Was unable to do this on the app. And forced to chat with on online chat person as I didn't have the option to call them from my mobile being out of country. I was on chat for about 40 minutes, constantly waiting on hold, only to be told that british airways refused to grant the refund? I didn't book thru british airways I booked thru opodo for the one reason I was told I could change or cancel 48 hours before flight. Also, i was charged more than the website stated price! Stay away from this site! They're crooks! I felt I was taken advantage of during a difficult time. How cruel.
The worse service ever. In 2020, I bought 3 tickets of about £1000, the flight was cancelled. For a long time Opodo gave me 3 vouchers of 979.11 GBP with no expiration dates. Yestoday, I did try to buy a flight ticket from Opodo again, but the voucher code did not work. I have dowloaded their app and checked, unfortunately the vouchers expired. Terrible
It is the same kind of firm as ViaGogo! Actually All we need is "hackers"?! I lost my nerves and a lot of money because of them! Why is GOOGLE and others giving them "upgrades" at sites?! Well i know, because the money talks?!
We showed up to the airport and our reservation was cancelled. My family had booked our trip 6 months out. My husband and I took a week off work a party was planned. Because we apparently checked a box that said more comments our reservation was cancelled. I missed an email with an unclear subject that said if we didn't resolve the issue our reservation would be cancelled. They never sent a clear email saying reservation was cancelled.
Worst experience I've ever had with a travel company, sold flexi date option which it had no intention of honoring despite a week's notice and the policy saying they needed a minimum of 24 hours notice. Despite repeated attempts to contact them through a variety of methods, I have had zero customer service to resolve this issue and have lost several hundred euro on this. I shouldn't say 'lost' - I consider Opodo to have stolen the money. An absolutely unethical company. Avoid.
I was in process of buying a ticket and was charged £290 for it, but confirmation never arrived (so I had to eventually buy my ticket elsewhere). Since I didnt receive a confirmation number, I am unable to process anything onine or get to a human agent (you need enter your booking code). Its now been sex weeks, money has been taken, but no ticket nor do I have the ability to speak to anyone about it. Not sure what to do or how to proceed.
This is the very worst company to deal with. No refunds provided and no terms and conditions provided prior to purchase. They do not provide the customer with the information they need to make a booking. They took payment from a debit card, happily, and then sent an email (post-purchase) to inform me a credit card with £2500+ limit was necessary to complete the booking. No refund possible for the debit card purchase and no way of knowing this in advance.
This company is the worst! I booked with opodo (big mistake). On arival at the airport I was held at security with united airlines and asked many person questions that have absolutely no relevance to them and after 45 minutes they decided I was not allowed on my flight as I did not have a visa to enter America (it is not required as I was only passing threw transit). After showing this to them they still would not let me on my flight or allow me to cancel my flight. I called opodo to cancel and they told me I was marked as no show so are not able to refund my ticket! I have proof of being at the airport, I even had to book another flight from the airport for 2 hours later with a different airline as I already out of my home country. This is pathetic. I advise anyone booking with this company to re think the idea.

I have in writing I will be given full refund. Waited months was finally given partial refund. I have it in writing from Mr Goel. He agreed to give my full refund. That's the only reason I cancelled. I am getting no answer as to the failings of this company. It looks like these frauds their lack of professionalism, lies, rudeness and hesitancy to give back monies owed have come to UK from India to harm the British public. They should be closed down immediately.
I booked car for 16 days( 22 november till 8 December 2022)+full insurance. And when I arrived at the airport for pick up my car in front desk it turned out that my documents are wrong (I had debit card) and I can't pick up my car. All money company "opodo" took off 21 December when I was still on my way!
As a result I don't have a car and my money(including money for insurance)!
When I trying connect with company i always recived same answer "this is not in line with company policy" and after this answer blocked me!
I have booked flight with Opodo. The total price was 608 EUR. After completing my card details and confirming the payment. They charged my credit card with 1004 EUR! You can not write an email - you will not find any email adress on their websites. The phone-number of "hot call" doesn´t work (or exist.) I will never book with this company again.
Do NOT use this company! You will lose your money and possibly your trip! Book directly with the airline - if you need to make a change, you must call them at 2 euros per minute with an hour wait EASILY! It is truly A SCAM.
I cancelled my flight and was informed that my money would be back to my credit card in 10 days. It has passed 31 days, I called them 9 times (over 3,5h on the phone in total) - I get different information every time. Today I got information that they started the refund process today and I will get my money back in 21 days. I'm wondering what will happen tomorrow.
Terrible customer service, they don't care about you. Don't expect any service whatsoever.
I called 5 times on 5 consecutive days to rebook my ticket, and they couldn't get it done. I had to leave holiday earlier because they were unable to rebook my ticket due to unavailability of tickets; a problem in their software apparently! One day prior to leaving suddenly someone noticed my 1 star review on TrustPilot, and suddenly a guy called Ross started offering options. All of these options very expensive tickets that were no way close to my Flexible Ticket rate.
A bunch of crooks that don't understand how to treat a customer at all. I tried to talk to them, but now I am done trying to help. Stay away from this lousy business.
Same here. Booked flights with baggage. Air fares ok but baggage not on itinerary. Been phoning non stop with no responce saying will be sorted but has not been. Tried cancelling baggage but with have to wait 3 weeks for refund. Absolute joke OPODO. Shame on you. I will be advise all my friends and face book of a con and shame of a so called travel agencie

I paid £480.23 for booking flight from Luton to Thessaloniki on Wizz air and return from Thessaloniki to Gatwick on easy jet. While I received receipt from the airlines only of £355.98. On top of that Wizz air charged me for £135 for check-in and my cabin bags. Also easy jet charged me £96 for my cabin bags and asked me to put it in luggage while they allowed other people to carry their bags which were bigger then mine in the cabin.
Chose my flight and entered my bank details but afterwards, looking at my bank statement, I found that they had overcharged me by £75. I have been calling and emailing them for about a month and they keep asking me to provide evidence if having been overcharged. Then they asked me to provide full bank details to refund me, including the 3 digits at the back of the card. I sought advise from the bank and I was advised never to disclose these information under any circumstances. They said that they couldn't refund me without this information. In the end I called my bank to sort it out after hours on the phone with these people. Rubbish company. WARNING: DO NOT USE. EVER.
Answer: Guys, it would only cost you about £40 to take them to small claims court. Dont just take the loss, these people need to be held to account. Id also contact Rip Off Britain to get a programme made about their tactics
Answer: You can complain all you like but once they have your money they dont give a tinkers cuss. Best form of complaint is social media like this site and face book.
