I ordered iPhone 6s on eBay from them they cancelled the order the reason is my PayPal does not have a conform address for me. Weird never had issued ordering from newegg previously and all orders shipped went to new egg website and my order was accepted
This review covers several orders that I made in the past with them and all of them have been great with products in good condition, prompt delivery. I like the feature that you can filter product reviews from customers who bought from their site - it gives you more confidence if you have enough.
I started using this site when my favorite IT guy kept referring me to them for everything little item I would need for my newest system. Cables, connectors. Everything. They are fast and competitive. And when a professional that I trust uses them regularly, what else can you say. They are very good.
Pretty much have any computer/gaming parts here. The prices are lower than most places. The only thing I wish they can improve is the shipping. Takes them 2-3 and sometimes 4 days to have things send out, unless you're willing to pay extra for them to rush your order so it's send out a little earlier. Maybe this is standard service now? So far I only found one site, condombee.com, that sends out same day of purchase even if it's free shipping.
Overall, I still like this site and have good experiences with it so far.
Couldn't find my $1300 monitor in shipping for weeks, would not provide me a refund until they found the box, even though both the shipping company (fedex) and the NewEgg employee both stated they have no idea where it is. So newegg is holding onto my money until they find this package, pretty cool eh? Part of their "assured customer return" system where they want to make sure I am absolutely screwed while I wait for my purchase. Oh, and the return period? Starts upon purchase, so my 30 days is almost up at this point, haven't even received the item. Pretty awful all around.
I purchased a refurbished desktop with an Allstate extended warranty. Its had hard drive failure from day one but we could use it by restarting 10 times a day. Since it was refurbished I thought I needed to use the Allstate protection plan. They have a 30 day window before coverage begins. Now Newegg wont take it back since it's been over 30 days and Allstate won't cover it saying it was a "preexisting Condition". Newegg has referred me to a "seller" twice and the seller claims it was not thier sale. Now I have a $300 brick with a $50 extended ""nothing" warranty.
Pathetic service. 4+ hours of phone calls, chats, emails and no one accepts responsibility. For a small business technophile with 5 desktops and innumerable "gadgets" I will NEVER use this platform again.

Deplorable customer service. Bought an item for my daughter for Christmas and they refuse to accept a return or exchange after 30 days, even unopened! This is my 2nd and final bad experience with Newegg.com.
I have been a Newegg customer for over 7 years now. Even though their prices did somewhat go up, they still offer very good deals on pretty much anything, you just have to catch those deals at the right time.
Their 'Premier' feature has a trial, it's similar to Amazon's Prime and offers some nice benefits. And their customer service has been very helpful; had some shipping issues (returned package) and they offered to re-send my items with discounted 3day shipping.
They didnt meet my minimum expectation. I ordered a particular case for an older phone. Only one out there... no replacements that I can find anywhere. They mailed it to the wrong address. Blamed it on a 3rd party vendor. Didnt want to give me their name. Working as an intermediary for them. I am sure I will get the refund in a week or so. Disappointing and profoundly irritating.

I purchased multiple orders bundled together from different merchants on the Newegg site.
In the purchasing process it listed 8 days as the expected shipping time for all three orders, however one merchant informed me that I may not receive the merchandise for 4 weeks. This was unacceptable because I wouldn't receive the items before my conference. I was able to cancel the order and receive and immediate refund.
The best way to judge a company is not when things go right but when things go wrong. They handled my complaint quickly and respectfully.

I recently bought some case fans from what turned out to be there market place. The fans needed splitter so I bought that. The splitter was for 4 fans which I need so I went back to order 2 more fans and it said out of stock. I called their customer service and they told me it was market place so they had no idea when they would be getting more. I tried to cancel the splitter and their website would not let me. So long story short Ive had 2 days of calls fighting to get restocking fees removed and trying to talk to a manager they keep making excuses. They apparently dont want my business. They still owe me for the fans which I have already sent back. I dont think I will buy anything from them again. If I have a problem I want solutions not excuses

Its a good platform as for me. Everything found in one place, the prices can be sometime higher than those of the other stores but again - its all in one place. Be sure to use tracking of your parcels - those are easily lost, or thats me who is unlucky =/

I ordered a pair of headphones that were an older model but didn't realize it until I had already placed the order. Then I saw the 15% restocking fee and cringed. Luckily, if you don't open the merchandise and either contact them in the request RMA or chat with them online, they will authorize the RMA with a full refund. That is very reasonable and rightly so but some retailers are mean. Newegg isn't!
Yes, I still go to BestBuy just to see what the newest graphics card, etc. is that is available. I never buy it from them though!: P
I highly recommend Newegg for those hardware pieces for your next computer build or rig-updating. They have great customer service and return policies, which is critical for new builders and the like since sometimes the technology just doesnt sync together properly and you have to swap out parts.

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
