Ordered a dress & when it arrived I could use it as a tent it's that huge. The sewing was incomplete actually not even sewn around the neckline. Will never use this 'company' again... ever. This just sums it up, don't buy overseas stuff, support your own country.
I had never used Newchic before but was keen to give them a go as I like the style of a lot of their clothing. I ordered 2 items from Newchic in early September, I was told via email a few days after that they were on back order- which I was fine with and said I was happy for them to restock. Last week, a month and a half after I made the order I emailed to ask if they had an estimated time of restocking for the items I ordered, to which they replied 1-2 weeks. Today 2 months after I first made the order I received an email advising they have cancelled my order... With no explanation or advice on how I can receive a refund. I have waited 2 months for my order just be cancelled... I wont be using Newchic again

Should you not like it or it doesn't fit, it will likely cost more to return it than it cost. I placed two orders, coupla pair of shoes for my wife and some hats for me. Shoes didn't fit and one of the hats too small.

Then, as we worked through the problem, they handled things correctly. There is always a risk ordering from a company overseas. Many sizing issues, quality issues and delivery issues. The trick to ordering is 1) don't assume. Check out all the sizing charts and make sure you read the measurements 2) Be patient. If you have to contact customer service for a return, be pleasant, be patient and respect their culture. It is more polite than ours. 3) Negotiate. They will try to benefit their company, and you will want customer satisfaction. Be prepared to bargain and have a look through their eyes. Accept responsibility where appropriate, but don't give up. They will honor your wishes in the long run, even if it take several communications. Remember, this is a different country and they deserve our respect. After a few communications back and forth, they issued me a full refund and that was the right thing to do. We reined pleasant and respectful so it ended up being a good solution. I will order from them again.
Do not buy from this company. Purchased 2 sweaters, they finally came after a month of waiting. I am 56 years old and slender. These sweaters are not what is pictured They wouldn't fit an eleven year old. Their customer service is horrible and will do everything in their power to make it difficult for you to return items! Ordered 2 pair of shoes for my Mom & I, unfortunately they were to small when we got them. Got a second set delivered to us for the price of shipping. The emails back & forth with the company were always very friendly & helpful. This was a wonderful experience & will be buying more super cute shoes very soon!
The Customer Service reps were awesome. They were professional and helped resolve all of my issues. I will definitely shop with them again.
I brought 2 dresses and payed express postage they came in 2 months after several emails. Well when they came my god the dresses looked nothing like the ones I ordered. No hem just cut straight along the bottom of the fabric. The material was cheap and nasty plus see through not lined at all. The material was like a see through Nitie, I threw it straight in the bin. Recently went on the web-site to order shoes. More than 50% of the shoes are no larger than size 10. I ordered 8 pairs of shoes. The company broke my order into 3 parts and charged my debit card in two charges. I saw no where on the web-site that I would pay an international charge card fee. At check out, I opted to not use Pay-Pal and submitted my order. It came back later, refused and refunded. The charge card fee was not refunded. Apparently one must use Pay-Pal or you cant order. My funds were refunded immediately. Nice site, but was also unaware it is a Chinese site and, if I understand it correctly, shoes are shipped from different locations in China. I would not recommend anyone buying from this company. There are too many American companies that do a better job and are more web friendly.

I on an impulse bought a pair of shoes from the site NewChic which I became familiar with from pop up ads on Facebook. I was really disappointed to see that they were being shipped from China, not because I don't like China just that I thought it would take forever. I then looked up reviews for the site and was horrified to read all of the negative reviews on this site. Particularly I read that the shoes either do not come at all or when they do they don't fit. After several weeks my order arrived today. The fit is true to size and they are the cutest shoes! The quality of the leather is top notch, they feel like butter! I did not experience any problems so I can not speak to the customer service aspect but I am so pleasantly surprised by this company I thought I would share!

Answer: A friend from Reading placed an order 14 weeks ago. Total cost was 21 GBP. He contacted NewChic about his order 5 times. Their standard answer (WAIT FEW MORE DAYS). Eventually he gave up and lost the 21GBP. If you have extra money that you want to throw away, NewChic is the way to go. They will take your money; send you nothing and tell you (we are sorry. We will fix situation). But they do nothing
Answer: Ordered a purse, it is the dimensions listed. But what they don't show is that the zipper is sewn in 2" below the top and reduces the opening size. Not which is shown and not "workable" as a purse. Communications with the company for returns result in frustration. The first statement is "you will be responsible to return this to China and it is very expensive. Do you want to proceed?" The address they gave is incomplete and does not come up on Google maps.
