The negative reviews i've just read above were disturbing, to say the least. I already switched to your software last week without reading those reviews yet.
Am i wrong in my decision?
I hope the issues raised did not occur nor happen the way as it was claimed. In any case, can you rather give better assurance that the same oissues were rectified and will no longer ever happen again? Thank you.
TaxPrep representative Ray called regarding a support ticket. Ray resolved not only the subject ticket but also two other support tickets I had outstanding. Ray also provided instructions on how to customize my organizer to better serve my clients. Ray was extremely competent and professional. Spent considerable time to help me understand parts of the program that I have not become familiar with. Really appreciate the quality of service I received today. Great job!
Athena from MyTaxPrepOffice was a wonderful customer service representative to work with. I had a lot of questions that needed to be addressed and she never once seemed in a rush or upset with me. We spoke on the phone for about an hour and she was pleasant and a joy to speak with. More customer service representatives should strive to be just like her!
I have used My Tax prep office for several Years at fairly good soft ware price but I am not fully happy with calculation of the software processing. I should not have to manually calculate so much of the needed figures.
This Tax Prep software does everything that you need, it does lag a little during high internet use times, but that is likely an issue with the internet service provider not MyTaxPrepOffice. Reasonable pricing, just make sure to renew early within the discount window.
Felisha was very professional & thorough. Has excellent customer service skills. Instead of letting you off the phone once the problem was corrected she stayed on the phone line to ensure that the problem was in fact corrected & there would be no need to call back regarding that same issue again. She verified all my profile information & when errors found they were corrected and verified right then and there. She definitely is an asset to My Tax Prep Office, it's one of the reasons I refuse to change to another software provider. Please keep up your excellent customer/technical support

I used this software for several years even though there were ongoing issues with it. I stuck with them, mainly because their support personnel were very good. I had a "lifetime guarantee" of the price I paid when I first became a customer but they way they have wriggled out of their promise was to simply tell me that they were not going to offer me a renewal option this year! Their lame excuse was that "I had too many service requests". Mind you, every request was a valid problem with the software or the way the program responded to certain entries. I never asked a tax question, just a request for development to correct a glitch or guidance about how to make the software respond in the way I knew it needed to to give me the correct answer. If it had been a quality product, this would not have been necessary. I guess you really do get wat you pay for so this year, I will pay more for my software but it looks like it will be a much better product!

I am writing to detail the phenomenal support assistance I received from Jessica today. She called to assist with my software setup as a new user/client of MyTaxPrepOffice. She not only provided a thorough working knowledge of the software features, but she also was able to answer any questions that I presented. Jessica also was able to clearly explain "the why" of a particular strategy. I LOVE IT.
Incidentally, she and another tech support individual( many thanks to him too) were able to resolve an issue I had with printing from the web. This problem would have eliminated my ability to print my prepared returns, By Jehovah's grace, they fixed the problem.

Completed my office setup, and one on one training and so far I am super impressed with the representatives and the software, super light, fast, nimble and robust with tons of features and ways to start, resume and complete a tax return from any screen or field. The interface (and the ability to customize); the client interface piece of it; the internal controls for documents, notes, etc ---- just great stuff all around. Highly recommend! I am a one man shop and the customer service and support is a tremendous help. There are times I get stuck and having a professional available to log on and go thru the return with me and help direct me and point out if I have an error where I went wrong is a great service. I used to work in a multi preparer office and had others to run ideas by, now I have an online tech to help out. The fact that it is cloud based has allowed me to sign in at a clients location and work on the program correct entries if they have additional documents and reprint right in their homes has saved me many hours of going back and forth. I appreciate that they are updating and improving every year as well. All over great program

Tameka was excellent in going over the software and in explaining each step from the dashboard, Client Portal, e-file menu and making sure my firm information is set up correctly. She took the time after explaining to ask if I understood what she just explained. Coming from a different soft way such as Pro series can sometimes be a difficult transition when you have to enter information in a different way. However, she made me feel comfortable that I should be able to adjust without to much difficulty. She did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable, thank you.
I have been using this software since it's beginning and have never had any problems. When I did have issues, they were quickly solved. The team is quick to resolve any questions or concerns and work hard to provide an efficient software to prepare and file taxes. Very pleased with the functionality, features, and ease of use of MyTAXPrepOffice. The support staff is friendly and really helpful. I enjoy using this tax software. It's extremely helpful to have clients review and sign their returns remotely. I highly and enthusiastically recommend MyTAXPrepOffice.
Would have give 5/5 except for the glitches. The same glitches over and over. For me it is the State C540. The program was put better when it first started. Also i prefer to speak to someone than try to find reading material through too many pages and too often it says it has not support
I've been a customer of my Tax Prep Office Tax Solution Software for over five years.
There is not enough words or space to document my experience with the customer service that I received from Norma and Kristin CPA. And the entire staff is excellent. They have made my business practice successful competitive and because of that my clients are truly grateful. To me personally they are the trademark of excellence!
I found this software to be hard to work with and was not able to trust the entries to calculate throughout the return. I found that I used up way too much time double-checking every calculation and every form to ensure that all of the entries flowed through. In addition, I had to call customer support many times for help and, while they were nice, it took a lot of time, and I mean a LOT of time, for them to assess the problem and come up with a solution. This software may look helpful to your checkbook at first, but once you realize you are spending twice as long in preparing the returns, not so much.
In 35 years of accounting I found that this is the more complete software and easy to use in the market, also if you have a problem some person is around in the chat, I can't complaint and keep going with the good job, 6 stars is my evaluation.

I too had a learning curve initially but I now seem to feel competent plus they have a good Chat line support that I use for technical and some tax prep advice.
