I come from a big box tax prep experience. The first year 2015 was a learning curve, the continued updates, improvements and constant availability to get things fixed has been the most beneficial for me. Many benefits to see where your submitted files are, and ease at clearing up the items that need attention in the preview tab.
I look forward to the next tax year 2019 and using the new tools and portals to enhance the client relationships. Great product for the support, price and service.

Jessica was wonderful. She shared her vast knowledge of the My Tax Prep Office Software input including new features, short cuts, and other nuggets which I am sure will increase my productivity this year.

I used the product for the 2019 tax year, however, I did it with no pre-training and spent an awful lot of time on both the Chat and telephone support lines.

I am also very pleased with the updates and improvements added to the product.

Pete Mata was very thorough with showing me how to use MyTaxPrepOffice. He really took his time to break things down for me so I fully understood each tool and feature. I purchased software recently, however I got some hands-on experience with my previous tax prep firm, so I knew already that the software is rather cool for small-business preparer (self-employed or small firm). But the training I received just reinforced me in my opinion, that the software is able to meet my needs as tax preparer and also provides some extra features that are not usually provided by other SW. Absolutely recommend!

I'm new to this software and I'm so happy that I made the decision to align with this group. My sales rep, Donald, was amazing with answering all of my many questions and giving me fair answers so that I could make a well-informed decision. I have only great things to say about my interaction with him. My tech rep, Susan, is the absolute best. She is very knowledgeable about the product and very patient with getting my questions answered. I feel extremely comfortable with the software based on her expertise and willingness to hand-hold me along the way. I'm looking forward to a great tax season.

** I will note that I read all of the reviews on this page before I made my decision and based on the reviews, I was leary, however, my gut told me to give them a fair shot and in doing so, I've been very pleased so far. I'm sorry others had a less than favorable experience. They are new and do have some growth opportunities but I say give them a shot to earn or re-earn your business.**

After 23 years of using another software I finally switched. MyTaxPrepOffice saved me time and my clients could get their advance check before they left my office. That made my business grow, and I did more clients last year then I did while using the other software. It was hard for me to switch, but I did, and I do not regret it.

I've been trying to solve the problem of this software being so slow on my computer for over 8 months. Had computer geeks in my office, had everything checked from RAM, graphics card, software, Chrome issues...and many more. He patiently worked with me to narrow down the problems. There were quite a few from AVG Antivirus/driver updated to graphic updates and so much more. Now not only is my tax software working up-to-par but the computer as well. Now I am more than happy to renew this tax software this year (again) whereas before I didn't want to touch it even if it was free.

I am in my 5th year using this software, and very pleased with its performance and affordability. In 18 years, I have gone from premium through middle of the road tax softwares, switched to this after two consecutive years of apologies from my prior software provider.

Initially, it was sometime different and somewhat difficult as you will expect with a new tax software program, but it gets increasingly easier to use with time. There are still a few commonly used forms that are not provided, but I am hoping they will get there in the years ahead. The customer service has immensely improved, no longer having to waiting two to three days to receive response after uploading returns for review.

Above all, "the price is right". I will recommend them to friends.

The software seems very intuitive and offers a lot of extras e.g., a portal. I have not yet officially used it, but trained today with D Martinez who did an excellent job using test clients to show me how the software worked. I feel very positive about my purchase! Tax season here I come
