My initial contact with MyTaxPrepOffice was with a pre-arranged call with the customer service rep, Brandon Davis, after I had downloaded a full working demo of the software. He literally walked me through all of the options available in the software. To say that I was completely blown away would be an understatement. He was extremely knowledgeable with the software, as well as tax preparation in general, and was certainly not a high pressure sales person.

After my purchase, I had over 4 hours of online one-on-one training, as well as getting my data files converted to My Tax Prep. Pete Mata, my instructor, was absolutely wonderful. He is also extremely knowledgeable with the software, as well as actual tax prep, and very patient with my endless questions.
I am so happy with my purchase. I felt one of the most important things to me was customer support if I have problems, and I believe their customer support will be right there when I need them.
After having worked with four different tax software applications, I truly believe that anyone who takes the time to look at the demo online will be blown away with all of the features and options available.
The software is super user friendly and efficient. I like the fact that if you have errors in your return are clearly defined before you submit the return for e-filing.

Not only did the software glitch horribly, miscalculate, and just didn't work at times, the customer service is horrible. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and wrote a review detailing my experience with this software. The Sales Manager (Maurice) called me bullying me to take down my review and threatening to cancel my software. I told him my review was an honest depiction of my experience with MyTaxPrepOffice, and that I most certainly, will not remove my review. Two days later, I logged into the software only to find the software I paid for in full on October 30,2020 was terminated without notice and without a refund of the money I paid to this company. I had to call, wait on hold again, because the hold time is horrible, only to find out my software (that I paid for in full) had been terminated because I would not give into their bullying and remove my review. This is the most unethical, unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Not only does the software not work, but the customer service is horrible.
I have been with them for 3 years and i just loves the software and the support i needed to navigate through the whole software it self is a good one i will tell anyone to try this software and see how it does. I love the price and the all the forms are easy to locate, i know as we have these changes each year they keep us up on what we need to know. I am well satisfied with this product and well keep on using it with any thought of change thank you MYTAXPREPOFFICE for all you offer us to do our job.

I have been preparing returns using MyTaxprep since 2020 and have been satisfied with the results. It is easier than some of the bigger players in the field and more reasonably priced.
I have contacted MyTaxprepoffice many time and have always received great service. Always got the help I needed to complete the tax returns. Would highly recommend using them.
I have been preparing returns for 10+ years with ProSeries. I don't do a lot of returns which makes ProSeries pretty expensive. I thought it was worth a shot to give MyTaxPrepOffice a try, since it costs much less. Well, you get what you pay for. It was difficult to use, not intuitive at all. I started with 2 returns, and idividual return and one 1102S. When I redid the 1040 return in ProSeries, I found that MyTaxPrep calcuated 1099-R penalties incorrectly for the Spose. I wasted a lot of time trying to learn it. I finally gave up and purchased ProSeries software for the current tax season. I was going to file the 1120S with MyTaxPrep, only because I reached the limit that I had in ProSeries, but it was nearly impossible. See the photo below. Where is the 1120S to file? I can't find it, nor can I find an answer in the help file.
I really wanted it to work. Very disappointing.
This software is very intuitive and easy to use. On the very few times I needed tech support, my questions were answred quickly and accurately. I strongly recommend and I will be a customer for life
DO NOT PURCHASE! I purchased this program in november. I wasn't completely crazy about it but since it was supposedly going to give me the ability to work remotely with ease i went ahead with it. Well the first day of the tax season the program basically crashed and continued with the problem for days. Even when it was supposedly resolved it was still slow. I was then told hey it is "pretty much stable". Since i couldn't risk my business on a system that is pretty much stable and still running too slow for the pace i have to complete returns on a daily basis not to fall behind i requested a refund which has been denied due to their BS 14 day refund policy. So the way they set it up no one could ever really request a refund. Because who purchases tax prep software just 2 weeks before tax season? It was only when i really needed the software to perform it completely ruined my life. I still haven't been able to catch up from the back up it has caused me. Ultimately i had to purchase a different software program. Suggustion for sitejabber. Please add zero star option. One star is too high for mytaxprepoffice. REPEAT: DO NOT PURCHASE
My instruction was great. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all my questions. She also helped me with transferring my old files that didn't transfer the first time.

I too had a learning curve initially but I now seem to feel competent plus they have a good Chat line support that I use for technical and some tax prep advice.
