I've been using MyTaxOffice for over 6 years now and while an initial learning curve, it has been an intuitive and easy program to use. From time to time I've experienced issues with out of state returns arising from minor issues that I was not familiar with that MyTaxOffice technical service has always been able to assist me with. The price is right and the product and customer service has always been great.

PLEASE READ! I am so pleasantly surprised with the functionality of this software. The price of the software resulted in doubled my profits and it is so easy to use, and extremely accurate! I did 383 returns and I was able to do it in half the time and i only had ONE return come back for correction! I was hesitant about purchasing when i saw the negative reviews until I searched for my old software on this page... I was not able to find it... or any of the big competitors. I went a little further to look for reviews on this software, this was the only page I could find any negative reviews. I check out the bbb and they have a perfect history with the bbb. It seems like this product is shaking up the industry... shaking the industry to the point of fake reviews? I cant say for sure but I can say this is by far the BEST software i have used in my 41 years of tax preparation. Thank you MY TAX PREP OFFICE!

I switched from ProSeries to My TAXPrepOffice because it includes at no extra cost an integrated client portal, cloud-based storage, and a single standard user dashboard for all returns - the individual and business. Plus, the price is extremely competitive.

This program overall is better than ATX and Intuit. Problem seems to be in advocacy with the Rhode Island Division of Taxation particularly on business returns. There have been glitches each year, but for the 2019 returns the RI 1120S and RI 1065 still have not been accepted and the initial deadline of March 16 has past. Had to manually file RI 7004 Extension forms even though the federal returns were accepted. Customer chat has generally been very good but some staff should refer to tax analyst, not saying we should go back to the IRS. Will continue to use the program because overall it is excellent except for the glitches.

PROS: Very reasonable price in comparison to other tax software. Love that the software is cloud-based. Love the new interview mode. Love how the price includes 1065, 1120, 990, etc., and customers love the client portal app to review and sign their returns. CONS: Still very glitchy, often have to either recalculate, reload the application, or exit a form and go back in but, no software is perfect so not a deal breaker. Last, support was good but not great; definitely support could and should be improved.

I spoke with 2 different representatives, one in customer service and the other in IT support. They both were very familiar with their jobs, kind, patient, knowledgable and helpful. I have purchased mutilple software options the past 3 years and I must say that between the customer service and the software, I think I have found a home!

I just got off the phone with Alex Stogner and I can't thank him enough for his patience with me. He did an amazing job helping me through everything I needed. He was so polite and understanding I couldn't thank him enough.

I am very satisfied with the service it has been great and e-filing my 1099 Nec and W2 is great because I was mailing them before.
Make it easy to file my 1065 and 1120 corporate tax returns too

This software has come along away and would definitely recommend it. The only thing I would like if they had customer service you can actually talk to instead of only chatting or submitting a ticket.
