Kachjae is awesome!

Kachjae did an amazing job walking me though the navigation of the program. She is very pleasant and has an amazing personality. She is extremely knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions and she answered them all and then some. She was very thorough. She left me quite excited to use the software! THANK YOU Kachjae

Great Customer Service
January 18, 2020

I received a Marketing call right before last years tax season and decided to jump in. The rep gave me an incredible deal. I had been with Intuit ProSeries for the prior 20 years. I had decided to switch due to a computer malfunction and lost a year of data with ProSeries the prior year.
MyTaxPractice software is somewhat challenging for a "Boomer" to use initially but never having to worry about losing data again, makes it worth it.
The customer service team is very responsive.

Kachjae is awesome!

My Training with Kachjae this morning was great. I understood everything without asking to repeat herself, or explain in a different way. Every Question that I asked She was great answering my questions. Kachjae was awesome working with today Learning the My Tax Prep Office was very easy to and quick to learn.

Complete waste of money

I purchased this software this year trying to save money throwing $480 away. I didn't realize that when I purchased this software in Oct 2018 and when I began to start using in Jan 2019 I had made a mistake. There is a 14 day refund policy. I had to go back and purchase my original software in order to process my clients returns in a timely manner. Their software does not flow and is not user friendly. My original software has an interview process and it makes sure you have all necessary forms and don't have to second guess yourself if you missed something. Also, at the end there is a checker for any mistakes made during your process. This taxprepoffice is for the birds.

OK, year 1 for me was 2015 thru now. 4 years in this software and I love it! Year 1 tried my patience but their support and my learning curve after years of Lacerte and other software, this became seamless. Scary to jump over but happy I did. The program does flow for me and I like to just leave them a pat on the back. Call me crazy but I love this program now. The proformas have come through well year after year. I started tax back in the days of input sheets and curriers handling the returns to outsource processing. Ya, remember that? Dating myself.

I have been having issues not being able to EFILE. I have spoken to so many different reps all kind however, no one seemed to be able to know what was wrong. Temeka got on a call with me and after a week of not being able to EFILE she had patience, was super professional and kind. She was able to resolve the issue within minutes of logging on to my system. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)

My TaxPrep Software

I have used various software over the years of tax filings, I can say without a doubt that My TaxPrep Software has by far been the best software and the easiest to use that I have seen. I would advise anyone using anything other than this software to make the switch. You have a gang of those out there selling software only to be attached to your entire business, with their name where yours is supposed to be. HMMMM.

You get what you pay for!

The sale starts with a phone call with a steep discount for the Tax preparation software. Software is not intuitive enough to be trusted for electronic filing. You ask for a refund, then the Crockett attitude starts showing. They want an email to cancel, then they want a physical notarized letter, then you will dispute the charge with the credit card. Then you kiss your $200 good bye. This is a bad software with an ugly company. It is not worth the try.

This is my first year using the MyTaxPrepOffice software and it is one of the best software programs I have previously used. The software takes a bit of practice to navigate but with practice it becomes easier to complete the forms. The training videos and content they have within the program and YouTube is very helpful to learn the basic functionalities of the software. The online chat support usually is quick to respond and very helpful. Call support is also very quick to respond without plenty of hold time.

I was in the sales department at MyTaxPrepOffice for one year. I saw the product functionality and features grow tremendously from a good product to a great product offering incredible value. I witnessed our support staff go to great lengths to make everyone happy. Almost every tax preparer that called in for assistance left very happy with the service and the features of the product, once they understood how to use it. On the rare occasion when a tax preparer could not be satisfied, it was almost always because they did not take full advantage of the free training and could not get over the fact this program did not have a feature located in the exact same place as their old program with the exact same shape and color button. Buy it, TAKE THE FREE TRAINING, and practice a little in the off season. Ninety-nine percent of tax preparers will love all of the features and value included in one package they can take anywhere in a mobile office format.

When I first switched from the other company I didn't think I was going to like MyTaxPrep Office. I noticed later in the year that as I learned the new system it got somewhat better so I renewed for year 2. I began to feel a little better during this time. Now just after beginning the third year the new upgrades has made a world of difference. The new audit review is wonderful and finds even the smallest of issues even those that don't effect e-filing. I'm now a beliver in this system and very happy with the product and price.

The name of the coach who called me to train me was David Martínez.
David was very kind and very professional.
David explained to me all the functions related to this program and answered all my questions without any problem or difficulty with very good skill and slowly so that I had enough time to absorb and take notes of each point that he explained to me.
I can say that the experience I had, exceeded my expectations.
In my opinion, I believe that the staff working in this company are highly qualified.

This is the first year I have used this software. The price was pretty attractive so i switched from ATX. I like that it is online and I can work from any place without having to carry equipment. The downside is that this is new software package and when I started there were lots of bugs that I communicated to the developers. To my satisfaction every complaint has been resolved. The software itself has improved since and I hope they continue to improve. To compensate me for the inconveniences they have given me a free year and access to prior years. I will give it another year. Hopefully they will add more state forms and have most of states available for e-file. I however would not recommend it to a newbe tax preparer.

I called in today and needed help/question about a file. The representative, Kachjae was so knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. She immediately took control of my computer and in a few minutes saw what the problem was and solved it. She was excellent and professional. This is my second year in using the program and I love it. Very Frustrated
February 10, 2019

I switched from ATX. I get a lot of page freezing, causing me to be very inefficient and frustrated. Things that should take 10 minutes take half hour. Tech support is not available 24/7 as advertised. No phone support on Saturday evenings and I waited 2 hours, with no response, before giving up on "24/7 live chat support". EXTRELEY FRUSTRATED by the freezing pages every few minutes. I can't work like this!
