I purchased an adjustable bed for my 78 year old mother 18 months ago who is disabled!
Bobs sales person did not give me a customer # when the purchase was made.(not my fault) Now they conveniently cant find a record of my purchase and are refusing to sent service out to fix the bed that has a headboard at 90 degree angle. Basically too bad. Should have kept your slip! Cant help you! Never buy anything from this store they take your money and your on your own!
We unfortunately purchased furniture from here. Call up claim can't find phone number. Try on line chat no response. Can't even find out where our order is. Totally disgusted and upset. Do not waste your time with this company
Worst furniture and experience I've ever dealt with. Half of my furniture was missing upon initial delivery and the delivery team left trash all over my front yard. Once the rest of the furniture was finally delivered, it immediately starting falling apart. Mattress reeks of chemicals. We ordered the Charleston bedroom set and the lamps and side charges didn't last more than a few days before falling apart completely. You can't even request the items be returned for a refund due to their policy that once its been unboxed, you can no longer return any items. If I could give less than one star then I would!
The delivery people were courteous and efficient. They also came earlier than promised. That's a first for any delivery service. I'm looking forward to receiving the rest of my furniture in such an efficient manner.(Order # ******* delivered on 3/8/2021) Please compliment this team of delivery people.
Though the delivery men did not show up on the schedule date I was called by the corporate offices and informed that my furniture would arrive in a few days. True to their word the furniture arrived a few days later in the early morning hours. The delivery men set up my sofa bed in a matter of minutes and politely accepted the small tip given to them. I will definitely shop at Bob's Discount Furniture again.
I shopped online until I found something worth seeing in person. So I went to the Bay Plaza store. Sure enough, I was grateful to have Elena Colon as my sales Rep. She was very patience and knowledgable. She helped me and my 7yr old son find what we were looking for. Which was a 2 seated recliner. We did the paper work right then and there, I only bought the recliners at first, Then I went back for the center piece. In a weeks time the furniture was delivered as they said it would, on time and no problems. So far. Considering on buying another part of the set soon. Thank you Mrs. Colon.

Bob's furniture is the worst co. Pany for consumers and employees... They treat their employees just as bad as their customers. Anyone co soldering shopping or working for Bob's I highly recommend you DO NOT! THEY don't tell consumers about policies and in the end you will be stuck with horri la furniture. They do not have any concern for their employees either, the only thing they care about is taking your no at. Their call center is run by a convicted sex who discriminates against employees. I currently have a pending law suit against them for discrimination and wrongful termination. They pick and choose who is held to policies and the business is run off the concept of popularity. I spent time outside of work with a team lead, a supervisor who continuously used illegal substances and encouraged me and a fellow co worker to partake. I hope Bob knows what a distinctionsol company they have representing them and I will make sure the public knows what a horrible name it is being given and who is representing them.
The customer service regarding the ordering of parts was terrible! A service guy was supposed to come out between 9 and 11 but never did! They never called us to let us know and had no idea what time he was coming if at all!
We are very disappointed with the tow couches we bought last year. Quality terrible and customer service bad. Tried calling the recording said it would be a 45 minute wait.

I ordered a dining room set a month and a half ago which still hasn't arrived. They have scheduled delivery on four different occasions, two time of which I took off work, and each time they called last minute to either push the delivery back or send a partial order. They finally showed up with the furniture yesterday, the delivery driver got an attitude with my wife, then left without delivering the furniture. Now, they call me telling me that since they didn't deliver it, they are giving it to the next person in line so I'm not going to have my table to basically another month. They are punishing me for their customer service. Worst company I've ever dealt with and I'll never go there again.
Spent over $3,000.00 on a six piece dream couch. The cushions are terrible and uncomfortable. You can feel the wood frame when trying to relax on it. This is NOT worth the money. Look elsewhere. Trust me
Purchased a leather sofa recliner January of 2017. Within a couple months color started flaking off leather. Luckily the manufacturer warranty covered the issue+. Now 2019 same issue with discoloration. No more manufacturer warranty so I thought my addition warranty (Goof Proof) would cover. It did not. There is no reason a leather sofa that is only two years old and barely used should have this problem. Definitely poor quality furniture and poor customer service/warranty. I do not recommend buying anything from Bob's Discount Furniture.
Bought a dresser on the 10th of October. Promised date of 10/20. After missing work to wait for the delivery, they told me another 10 days. Six days later, I called because we received tracking to the wrong address. They cancelled my order and told me to buy it again. Customer service is virtually non-existent, they outsource it to a call center that can't help you. Avoid them like the plague if you want to receive the furniture you purchased. This review wants photos, so here's a picture of what 16 days, missed work, and 2 hours of phone calls got me with Bobs:
I never bought anything from Bobs. However, I was curious and went to one of their retail outlets and inspected their furniture. For a first time buyer, their goods might appear to be a great bargain. But the reality is most of it is pure crap. Take a look at a "bargain" dresser for your bedroom. The drawer front panels are stapled on. After a while, if they're filled and weighted, when you go to open the drawer you might just pull the entire front of the drawer off because unlike quality merchandise that either uses pegs or the pieces are machined to interlock and are glued properly, this type of stuff is so poorly designed that it will eventually collapse like a house of cards built on one-eyed jacks. I didn't need to look at anything else ~ one item was far too depressing to waste anymore time.
Terrible customer service at Charleston Branch. Not willing to own up or correct their mistakes. Delivered furniture with missing parts still waiting, Bob's said not their problem parts come from a third party. I would never ever buy from them again.
Worst experience. Husband ordered couch back in November. We finally got notice that they would be delivering and setting up a few days ago. The guys came didn't even knock on the door sat for 10 mins, one guy actually urinated by our mailbox! My husband came home and the guys shoved him off and just said "Saturday" barely even looked at him.
Turns out they LIED and said no one was home. I was home along with neighbors witnessing everything. Husband complained and whoever he spoke to said they would compensate him and call back the following day and get the couch set up. No call and no show. Incredibly unprofessional! Not to mention the guys that came had no masks or gloves. Horrible company if this is how they do business.
So disappointed and will never buy from Bob's again. Purchased the protection plan and my kid spilled a drink on the couch and they denied our claim and said to go have it professionally cleaned. This was NOT what I was told when we purchased the furniture.
"Please understand that this is a final determination and your claim cannot be changed or altered. If desired, you may have these stain(s)/damage(s) serviced by a licensed technician at your own expense"
They have lost a customer forever and I will be telling everyone I know about this.
BUYER BEWARE! If there's a negative rating, that's what i'll give. I bought Christine 3 pc chair set but the quality is so bad. The salesperson told me that i can return them without incurring a restocking fee. But i guess, it's just a sales pitch. Since there's no floor display, i just relied on the picture online. The chairs are so uncomfortable & the cushion/back rest are so hard. I thought it'll be softer after a couple of weeks but no change. So i tried to return them. I talked to customer service including supervisor to see if they'll take it back & give me a refund or any compromise. I was told that unless there's a defect, i'm stock with it. I'm not shopping again at Bob's.
Terrible service, delivery, and quality. My worst furniture experience ever! "Confirmed" deliveries didn't show up causing additional days off work, damaged furniture arrival and no work order to replace done, and customer service agents that apparently can't schedule deliveries properly. Don't waste your time and go elsewhere! I would've been better just going to IKEA.
I've shopped at Bobs in Desert Ridge 3 separate times, and I have never had any issues. Brady has helped me a lot and was up front with all of the information regarding delivery and the goof service plan. Spent about 10K there and have no complaints. I recommend to everyone going there, and always tell them to go see Brady.
Answer: Bob's doesn't care... Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
