They won't confirm Your card.and if you place a replacement for an item...they charge you.😡 They charged $64 bucks! For imitation bacon bits! HORRIBLE experience. Spent two hours on the phone...no help.

Service at Meijer.
December 8, 2023

12/08/2023 I took my brother to do his monthly shopping at the meijer's on Grand River in Detroit. Only check out that was open were the self check. He had approximately $500 worth of items to go through self checkout. I found the manager to let him know there was a problem only the self check was open and that I had a basket full of items to be checked out, and that was too much to go through self checking. His attitude was self-checking or nothing. I chose nothing.
There's a Walmart about the same distance away, that we shopped at before Myers open. We end up going to Myers whose products is a lot cheaper and better service.

Trying to order groceries on meijer com is almost impossible most of the time and impossible today. I tried to order groceries today but I can't even get it to a screen with a search option. It's a painstaking process every time. Sometimes it takes me 4 hours to place a small order because the website needs serious revamping and has many glitches in the coding. ALDI.com is much easier to use but I don't really care for ALDI. I've shopped at meijer since the 1990's, but meijer has the worst website I have ever used.

Gato wine has always been $5 because, well, it's not that good, but it's all I can afford. All of a sudden, it's $8! Huge price increase. I knew they were going to do that when they started selling more than usual. It's a crooked business practice.

My mperks points were not showing on my account. When contacting customer service (3 times), I was
Eventually told that gas mperks were only a one time limited offer and wouldn't appear. I'd done it for years! In order to refute this, I would have to submit a form along with a $5.00 fee! I view this as an insult to all loyal customers. I had asked to speak to a manager and was told that I would be told the same thing.

This app doesn't work

Most of the if you spend this much on this product, you get this off doesn't work for me. My cards hardly work on the app or the website and it's the only place I have trouble with my cards. I have tried installing the app and reinstalling. I'm about to go shop at Aldi's.

Hello fellow angry Tally Hall fans, and hello everyone who wanted to visit Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum, we'll guess what, it might get closed down and be replace with this grocery store that already has a bad reputation! This freaking sucks especially because for a while I wanted to go visit Michigan because I wanted to go to Marvins. Finding out it might get replaced by this crappy grocery store is making me feel furious!

You want to know why people steal your product because look at your prices you need to come down with your prices that's why people starve cuz it's either food or medication we can't survive in this country with these prices with corporate fuking greed. False Advertising

I went to purchase a few loose cans of Fosters which are currently advertised at $2.49/can. You have NONE of these in stock, so why are you advertising that you do? I'd "include proof of purchase" but - huh. Could not purchase any of these, because you DON'T HAVE THEM.

Observations!

I noticed certain books aren't sold at Meijers! There are absolutely no books on the "right wing" view point!…I also noticed nothing, like Santa, Christmas related.

I order for my work location, and let the customer decide. I don't want Meijers to decide my religious and political view for me!

Meijers, you lost another customer!

Horrible fish care
July 1, 2020

Goldfish with fungus and ammonia burns, tanks filled with algae, I got a few female guppies and one has a shredded tail because the store was dumb enough to put them with a larger amount of males.

Will never support this business again. Either properly care for an animal or don't sell it. You disgust me

I am tired of having to constantly police your charges and if my M Perk coupons come off my overall charges. I had a coupon if I purchased $4.00 or more in salads any brand. I purchased a Taylor Farms Green Goddess bagged salad retail $3.99 and also Dole Cesar Salad retail $2.49. When I brought it up at the checkout the cashier stated she could not do anything about it and I would need to go to Customer Service. When I showed the Customer Service clerk my receipt along with my MPerks on my phone she states well look it is not pre-made salads but just chopped lettuce. I showed her the other 57 options and both Dole and Taylor Farms were listed. Really what does "ANY BRAND" mean exactly. She said she would refund but MPerks was not administered by the store but serviced by a third party. I stated Meijer promotes MPerks as their program they certainly should be responsible to make sure it works properly within their system. So I then ask her if she wanted my Meijer Credit Card to take it off my charge and she said no, ok I said that will be cash right? Her response was No we can only put it on a Meijer Gift Card. I am so over this company! Prices never scan correctly and the fact she could not credit it back to my MEIJER CREDIT CARD is not acceptable. Thanks Meijer for making my shopping experience so disappointing once again.

Worst grocery store ever

Obviously Meijer doesn't care if they get bad reviews. I agree with every other bad review written. They should not be in business! Extremely rude employees! Never have enough stock. Wrong prices posted (which is on purpose to gouge). Will NEVER shop there again.

So very sad what Meijer has become. I use to enjoy shopping there, but now it's always a terrible experience. Their sales (buy 2 or more to get sale price) are pathetic, the shelves are empty of key items on my list, items on sale don't ring up properly (they didn't take signage down from the week before), the lines are a good 20 minutes+ long (2 cashiers available on a busy day before a holiday). I'll use the self check-outs when I have less than $100 in my cart but not on $200+ orders. I've used the Order-onLine to pick up groceries and that stinks too. Most of what I want isn't in stock. I go to the Meijer in Portage, Michigan. Get it together Meijer...I've heard this from many others and you are losing customers daily. I've been a loyal customer of yours for 40 years but it's coming to an end. I hope someone from your company that has some clout is reading these reviews. They are all one star lately. Pathetic.

Have been buying pick loin at Meijer for a number of years. Bought one last week that was the worst ever...totally devoid of any flavor and very tough meat - like shoe leather. Coupled with the crappy quality of produce, this mY help me make the decision to finally move on from Meijer. They continue to raise prices and reduce quality. Don't Evidently care about the customer.

I work get food stamps and now Meijer Knapp Street Meijer Grand Rapids Michigan has put a cap on the amount of FS you can use for food SERIOUSLY! I do Delivery is that the case WHY? It says a ton about your customers service which is NOTHING!
