This is a fraud and they are taking money out my account the drivers are untrustworthy they lie about messes being in the car when there is not anything and they take money from out of your account
So Lyft don't do nothing for there driver's they littleraly do everything they can not to help you and don't care if passangers bring beer into your car and get it all over the place and when trying to contact them about it right when it happens they littleraly ignore me and got everything they asked for that night and told me to wait. For an email for this ignorant person to tell me to ***" off pretty much because I took one pic. Instead of 2 and was concerned about cleaning it. Uo and. Gettimg the ipend containers out of my car before some or a cop seen what I was doing but no Lyft exspects me to risk going to jail and leave it like it was for there damn pictures very very pathetic company
1 *******146. Ghaith is a racist pig. I ordered for a friend and when she walked up he acknowledged her and then said I dont let you people in my car and drove off.

I wish I could leave a review of Zero as well. After 4.5 years of using this app, they introduced a safety feature where you could report a rider or driver for various things. My store is located on busy street, if you stop infront of it, that is considered a live lane. I usually kindly request that the driver turn into the next side street or into the alley behind the store where I can get out safely. I typically will remove my seatbelt at this point.
Well a few of the drivers in the last 3 months did not like that I was telling them where to stop (mind you I did not report them), but they reported me as unsafe.
Lyft started sending me these emails, I responded each time what I told you above. Anyway one more such report and I receive an email from Lyft that they will suspend my account for 2 days because I am an unsafe rider. I spoke several times with customer service, email, chat, phone, then I realised what a waste of time that was.
Bottom line they do not care about the customer experience. I have done myself and LYFT a favour and deleted my account permanently. Please do not use Lyft.
Received $5 cancellation fee when the driver didn't show up on time and didn't pick up the phone. Lyft had been fine in the past. Let's see if they fix this.
LYFT is so $#*!ing annoying. I always order my lyft early so i'm not late for work. BUT sometimes it doesn't matter anyways. Because the $#*!ing driver is parked at a royal farms 15 minutes away AND HASNT MOVED In 15 MINUTES I HAVE TO BE AT WORK IN 10 MINUTES. AND THERES NOTHING I CAN DO BUT WAIT FOR THIS DRIVER TO COME. He is parked at a royal farms TWICE as far as my destination is from me. And i can't even schedule another ride/ get my money back. This is such bull$#*! and this happens all the time.
When I decided to try to rent a Divvy bike in Chicago, I didn't know how much it would cost, but it didn't occur to me it would cost $240 for one ride. I could buy a much better bike for the cost of one ride.
When I rented the bike I was acting quickly on my phone and I didn't realize until later that I was billed $131 for an annual membership. I cancelled as soon as I could, and only used the annual membership for one ride. I was also charged $109 for the bike rental. I was having a mental health crisis and I was too exhausted to return it to the turnstile that day, so I left it in my apt overnight. When I wrote to Lyft they ignored my request for a refund. I guess I was supposed to read the whole lengthy contract of fine print to see there is over $100 charged for a lost bike gone for over 24 hours that isn't lost. I thought the membership covers the cost of the bike rental. They charged me much more than the hourly rate of a rental. They should inform us of this in their ads.
The bikes are poorly made, too tall, built for 6 ft men, even if you lower the seat it will destroy the balls of a shorter man, and be dangerous to ride, you could fall over or crash, which I did.
I would like to assist Lyft in informing customers of the details of the Divvy contract that with one tap on your phone you could be charged hundreds of dollars and they have strict no refund policy.
Lyft is not a cab sharing service but a big fraud in the name of service! Once you register with lyft providing your personal info, including your cc details, you will be doomed! Lyft will use it in a way that it deems fit and if you raise a concern they will quote some stupid terms n conditions! I had very bad experience using Lyft n decided to get rid of this app and deleted my account in Sep 2017! I even sent multiple requests to customer care to have my personal info, including cc details to be deleted permenantly and to avoid any misuse! But to my horror, even till date my cc info is saved with Lyft! This is shameful, also my account was hacked 2 times in 3 months! Lyft says it was someone who is my friend accessed my account! This is utter non-sense! Why should someone else access my account, w/o my permission, and how did they access my cc info? I had to dispute the charges posted on my account! Lyft still doesn't want to delete my info! When i am no longer using lyft what right lyft has to keep my confidential info and not even sure if its safe!
Beware of lyft, if u have used cc with lyft, either change the cc or block the same as anyone else can easily login to your account and lyft will not take any action but look for excuses! Lyft is biggest fraud company and cares less about customers. I am not sure how many lyft users are aware that their personal info is at risk!
I cant say that my entire Lyft experience has been a bad one. I have had some really nice drivers but then there are the shiesty ones. The ones that piss me off are the driver that cancels your ride. Ive had a few drivers cancel me stating, that I never came out for the pick up. This was totally false. I suggest that you screenshot every move especially when they are close to your pick up location. Remember theres a blue circle that shows your exact location on the Lyft tracking map. I have been taking pics of all of this for anyone that want to play games. I also send text and call the driver to make sure that theres no discrepancies about my location. I do understand that they are not suppose to text and drive; however, the directions for my pick me up is ALWAYS very detailed. Im ready to send pics to plead my case for anyone that would like to try me. My other gripe with Lyft is not having a direct line to speak with a representative about issues like this! This is the biggest problem that I have with this company. Overall, I have had more good experiences than bad ones. Ive never had to wait too long for a ride. I recently found out that messaging the company via Twitter gets a fast response. I will do this from now on but for cases like the ones that Ive experienced people should be able to contact a live agent.
The app itself has too many Hang-Ups and glitches. 50% of the time I have to cycle power on my phone to restart the app to register on the drop pin I haven't made it to the destination requested. I lose a lot of time trying to get the app to function correctly, also it is embarrassing and annoying when I have to explain do the passenger every single time what am I doing when I cycle power. Also cancellation fees are not handled appropriately there are too many no call no shows and I don't get compensated correctly when people cancel. Also there was a attempt in robbery when I was waiting for a passenger, my situation as far as making sure I was okay with poorly handled. I made a police report and no effort by lift was made to reach out and ask if I need psychological help. The only question I ever got was a rider with you and is your car okay? I can see that all Lyft cares about is anything and everything except the driver as a driver's perspective I will be going with Uber have a nice day Lyft.
The first 2 months I absolutely fell in love driving with Lyft. However, 3 months later and I've realized that, Lyft allows their riders to report incidents that do not occur. And if your alleged of any accusations at all Lyft automatically deactivates your account and treats you as if your guilty and some of these accusations are so outlandish that I would hope there is evidence being supplied to support the accusations. But I know for a fact that they are not because I was accused of doing something that I did not do and honestly, I know for a fact, that there was no evidence of this accusation. People will do really stupid things in this crazy world we live in. With no reasoning at all, falsely reporting an incident. Why do people do these things? I have no idea! But Lyft does not have any type of support for their drivers in these type of circumstances. Which is unfortunate because, if someone is going to be accused of sone of the outlandish reports that I've heard, the seriousness of these alleged accusations, you really would hope evidence was produced. But I know 100% they are not producing evidence and Lyft will hold the driver accountable regardless. Which is not fair for the driver whatsoever.
Keep running my credit card & I have already paid y'all… stop running my credit card & get a real 800 number for customers to actually speak to someone.
I requested a Lyft for a 12 min ride and it's charging me 67.00 and I used Uber and they charged 16.00 Lyft you have to do something for your customers. This doesn't make any sense ALL
Lyft is a scam they cheat drivers out of their money when you drive to passengers location to pick them up than passenger cancels on you when you are almost there the driver wastes their gas and time and does not get money compensated. They claim you make at least $20 dollars an hour if not more you don't you have to drive 12 hours to make maybe a $100 bucks take out gas wear and tear on car $70. Passengers make messes in your car and most of them don't tip. Passengers put drivers in a safety risk by not having a photo on their profile account and letting others use their account instead of themselves so who knows if some convict got out of jail and stole their stuff and uses account. They do background check on drivers but not passengers drivers have not idea if passengers have mental health issues just got out of jail for murder nothing they don't care about the safety of the drivers. They deactivate drivers all the time for a comment in box by passengers so anyone can make up a story and put poor drivers out on the streets for false claims even after they see you have a great driving record and clean background checkI strongly don't recommend driving for Lyft
Lyft not recommended. Simple 3 block trip to train station. Driver insists on wrong far away train station. When i point out wrong train station driver threatens to call police when i become insistent. Catches fare for his pay. Now doubles back to correct train station ( i am charged for this trip as well). I miss train and have to make a second costly trip to Fort Lauderdale Airport to catch flight ( $ 70 extra fare) Actually a very nice driver and good trip.
I write Lyft and follow through thoroughly.
First customer service answer. "Be reasurred on your next trip with Lyft we will not assign that driver to you". Follow through What of extra needless cost? Customer service answer... A whole $ 3 refund on the extra $ 70 trip.
Needless to say the Lyft app is removed from my phone.
The joke is when you ask for cancellation of lyft account there is a mandatory 60 day time period for deactivation
Final joke - customer service survey - of course we did well please rate our wonderful level of service
Lyft's insurrance company has not contacted me after a car accident I was in with this company and it's been over 2 weeks! I'm going to hire a lawyer because I can't even get ahold of anyone.
A Lyft driver who picked us up, a party of 3 from ATL airport, was waiting at the wrong passenger pick up. To save time, we decided to go back upstairs to find where she parked her car. She really should not of been hired by Lyft. The back of her SVU was packed full of her personal belonging and covered in black cloth so the only room for our luggages was her front seat. Not only that the car smelled strongly of cigarettes. Had a bad feeling but she was being very friendly and b'cos the hotel was close by we got in. Big mistake as she swerved speeding down the highway looking at her GPS too frequently held in her hand, once we exited she kept missing the turn and making an illegal U-turn just on the main road with center yellow lines. The choice of her music was not very professional as she cranked out some music with a lyric, "Pure Cocaine". When I wrote to Lyft to complain and asked for a refund, they were apologetic but no mention of why this person was hired in the first place. Who knows if she already had an accident with some other passengers in the car. Though I strongly felt this experience warranted a refund, they offered to give me a $5 credit to my account. It's not the money in this case, it is the principle that Lyft did such a poor job of screening the people that are driving under their corporate name. I have decided to close my account and never use Lyft again.
They track me when I go to work so they increase price that I pay $60 for day and I just change jobs and it's close to where I live at first it was $8.98 and now it's $28 this is ridiculous.
I used Lyft 3 times. The first 2 times were fine. The third time, last night January 8,2016, I requested a lift at 1pm after a dinner party on my way home from the airport. From a popular restaurant in a city of over 100,000 population, the fastest response time was 15 minutes. However, the first driver who accepted my request, Jennifer, never showed after 15 minutes and would not respond to calls or texts. The second driver, Darin, did the same thing. So, the restaurant closed and I was left out in the wind and rain. I found an overhang but the wind was so bad I still got drenched. After nearly an hour of no-shows, I called a conventional taxi. Had they just replied "no drivers available" I would not have nearly frozen.
Here is where i gets really bad: the next day I tried to delete my account and credit card and there is no way to do that. It's been over 6 hours since I contacted support via email with no response. To add insult to injury 11 hours later a driver responded and said "I'm on my way" when I hit the cancel ride button I soon got a $5 cancellation receipt... 11 hours after I requested the ride? Consumers should know that while this service may be okay during working/peak hours, however Lyft is totally unreliable in situations such as emergencies or to avoid driving after drinking... situations when you really need a ride. Who accepts a fair then just leaves the customer standing in the rain without the courtesy of a text? Evidently this is a common thing with Lyft. I would not recommend this service to anyone. You can't count on them showing up.
Answer: They randomly out of the blue deactivated my account. This was there explanation. We found your account to be violating our Terms of Service and you will no longer be able to use the Lyft platform. I can honestly I have not violated anything so clearly there is something wrong with there information but the worst thing is they dont even tell you what the problem is. Oh well guess take my business to uber instead.
Answer: Lft runs different promotions and depending on promotion they promise a signup bonus(500-1100$). Now if they really pay the bonus it's totally up to their discretion.in my case they didn't pay. I completed the 60 Rides required in the first 30 days, which was the requirment to qualify for the bonus but they still didn't pay. After a brief email exchange with a lyft employee(they do not give their position or full name) they stopped answering. Now I am filing a complain with BBB and I will let you know where it goes when I have updates.
Answer: Lyft's customer service is terrible. If they won't correct it, file a dispute with your credit card company.
Lyft has a rating of 1.4 stars from 906 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Lyft most frequently mention customer service, credit card and phone number. Lyft ranks 32nd among Car Sharing sites.
