A Lyft driver who picked us up, a party of 3 from ATL airport, was waiting at the wrong passenger pick up. To save time, we decided to go back upstairs to find where she parked her car. She really should not of been hired by Lyft. The back of her SVU was packed full of her personal belonging and covered in black cloth so the only room for our luggages was her front seat. Not only that the car smelled strongly of cigarettes. Had a bad feeling but she was being very friendly and b'cos the hotel was close by we got in. Big mistake as she swerved speeding down the highway looking at her GPS too frequently held in her hand, once we exited she kept missing the turn and making an illegal U-turn just on the main road with center yellow lines. The choice of her music was not very professional as she cranked out some music with a lyric, "Pure Cocaine". When I wrote to Lyft to complain and asked for a refund, they were apologetic but no mention of why this person was hired in the first place. Who knows if she already had an accident with some other passengers in the car. Though I strongly felt this experience warranted a refund, they offered to give me a $5 credit to my account. It's not the money in this case, it is the principle that Lyft did such a poor job of screening the people that are driving under their corporate name. I have decided to close my account and never use Lyft again.
