I ordered my item on 5/11 and after 9 days, my item's status is still "back ordered." I contacted customer service through live chat and they told me it would take 1 day to 3 weeks before it would be processed. A 3 week waiting time is completely outrageous and customer service was unable to offer any type of response on when the item could potentially come. This is my first time ordering from this website and I bought this dress for prom two and a half weeks early but I have been greatly disappointed by their service. If a company is low on stock or are out of stock, they should not list any item as "available" on the website. I've had a very bad first experience with Lulu's and will not come back to purchase from them again.
Update: I was given store credit from Lulu's after this incident so I decided that I would give them another chance. I ordered a belt and a pair of sandals which came in 4 days and were pretty great quality items! All in all, I would warn against buying items on the website that show low on stock but from my second experience, buying normal items that do not show some type of "only two left in stock!" will be completely fine.
The clothes are really cute and look pretty much like the photos. No, the quality isn't AMAZING, but it is better than most of what you'll find online or even at your average store. Prices are a bit inflated, but when they offer free shipping AND returns, the money has to come from somewhere. And I've sent back numerous dresses and have gotten my full money back for them all.
Sizing is a bit inconsistent. I teeter between a small and a medium on most dresses. Sometimes the small fits perfectly or is just a bit too big. And sometimes the medium fits perfectly or is just a bit too small. As far as my normal size, I range between 4-8 depending on the brand. This being said, online shopping can be frustrating, but on LuLus I usually start with a medium and if it doesn't fit return or exchange for a small. When it fits, the clothes are very flattering!
I even tried on a dress, the clasp immediately broke, sent it back, and got a full refund with no questions. I would've kept the dress and fixed the clasp myself, but it was slightly too big.
I have had absolutely no problems with LuLus. On average, I receive the clothes within 3 days with their free shipping option. I also live in Nevada and am super close to Chico, so that could be why. I just dropped off a return yesterday and got refunded today.
Overall, great service and cute clothes. I've been fully refunded for every return I've made (I had three separate returns in just the last three weeks). And when I do choose to keep the dresses I've ordered, I get many compliments on them.
I'll definitely keep shopping here!
UPDATE- I was contacted shortly after this review was written and they went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I ended up getting additional store credit and was refunded the difference i paid for the new dress as well as them covering my expedited shipping. Thanks LuLu's! It shows me they really care which is nice to see from a huge online retailer.
I ordered a dress for a wedding a month in advance and when I received it, it unfortunately didn't fit. I ended up sending it back right away and opted for their store credit so I could purchase another dress. Fast forward 17 DAYS and the return still hasn't been processed. I've chatted and emailed with a few people and everyone assured me "a few more days". Now the wedding is in less than a week and i probably won't have time to get order a new dress and receive it by the date needed. Huge disappointment. If I had known the process would have been so drawn out i would have just opted for a regular return. Anyways don't return anything here and expect there to be a quick turnaround.
Ok I order my dress on August 1,2017 at 7p.m. And I received it August 4,2017 at 11:30a.m. I was so excited! It's the color I wanted! I got it a week before it was suppose to come in.The dress was absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly! Thank you so much Lulus! Xoxoxo
There are so many things to love about Lulus. I have placed so many orders, and have only had two issues (both of which customer service was very kind and gave me options to return, but I chose to keep the items anyway). I'm super leery of any other online store, I actually almost cheated on Lulus today but I didn't like how the other company mislead customers with poor wording in ads. Lulus would never lie to me.
I've never had an issue with sizing or quality of fabric. The only thing I wish was a little more transparent was if they are getting in orders that are out of stock. I know there's the notify me option, but sometimes it just never comes back in stock and that's sad.
One last thing, I just scrolled through the negative reviews on here, and another thing that will keep me loyal forever is how far they go out of their way to turn a negative experience into a positive one. In the age of online shopping, that's actually really freaking awesome.
In summary Lulus is relationship goals... Lulus doesn't mislead or lie to you. Lulus doesn't lie about size. Lulus is always willing to listen to your concerns, and is extremely responsive. Lulus sets the bar for my dating life. And while my dating life may be a wreck, thanks to Lulus I look damn good doing it.
The products that I ordered aren't the best, but they're of okay quality and the shipping didn't take TOO long. I was scared to order from the site due to all of the negativity around this site during the time that I had ordered the items. But I took the chance and I'm glad I did. Bought a pair of heels and they look great but the heel is supposed to be of a gold color and they REALLY look like silver, also they feel kind of cheap. But considering the price, I'm okay with it.
Hello, the Lulus website is misleading! I purchased two dresses from there today. Then realized I got the wrong size for one of the dresses so I thought I would just return it since their website says free returns and free shipping on orders over $150. However I was never prompted with a free shipping option even though my order was over $150. And I was looking for their return process so I could fill out any necessary forms and I found out I have to pay to send my items back from Canada and pay duties to send them back as well as receive them?! This will end up costing more than the actual items I purchased that won't even fit me. I want to cancel my order. This is supposed to be my grad dress, since my grad was canceled due to covid I was only going to use it for pictures.

I've been a big fan of lulus ever since discovering them and have never had an issue until I opted to get store credit for a return instead having the funds returned to me. I have since tried making several orders where I selected to use store credit but then found later my credit card was charged instead. My store credit should have been used in its entirety but was not and this was after a few attempts to use store credit as there website explains. I finally had a free moment to contact customer service and they gave me the run around about how they could not give me back my store credit despite my issues using it on there website. After I pushed some more they offered to return it for some previous order and before I agreed to do that they did it without my approval. I then asked them to fully refund my credit and they finally did it but not without considerable effort and pushing on my part. I regret ever opting to have store credit for a return and I hope no other customer has to deal with the same thing I've had to deal with. Regarding the story credit problems I give them one star but because they did ultimately resolve it (after a considerable amount effort!) and in the past I've had good dealings with them I give them 3 stars overall. I hope they resolve the issue with store credit but until they do don't let them give it to you or else you are going to deal with a big headache trying to the money back from them.

I always check the reviews before ordering online & sometimes, it looks like most companies fake their own reviews. Well, I'm just an every day girl from Virginia Beach- & honestly, this is a great company. I ordered an ivory body con dress with a plunging neck line. After I ordered my dress, it only took a week for the dress to get here. The dress was a beautiful, comfortable & heavy fabric, perfect for the fact that its white & winter. It didn't fit me the way I would have liked it too (I'm 5'3", it would have been better for someone a little taller) but overall, it was still a beautiful dress. I sent it back the same day. The return label that you print off is free as well as the whole shipping process. The return instructions are very clear.
It has been a week & once again I used the chat feature to check on my return. With very friendly & quick service, I was able to find the status of my return & they said they are processing my refund. It has only been 5 days & I should have my full amount back within the next two.
So to boil it down
-although the dress didn't work for me, the dress was beautiful and made out of quality material.
-the customer service is excellent
-this is a site that I would recommend.

Loved the dresses i ordered! They are good quality for the price and i got a bunch of compliments! One was snug (size medium when i generally wear small in most things.) The others fit well!
I ordered a pair of sandals for my mother. Not only did they arrive on time but they fit my mother perfectly and looked exactly like the picture. Very satisfied and I'll definitely be shopping again!
I orders some cute outfit from them last week for around 150 usd and woke up this morning with a 70$ Duty fee to receive my package. THIS IS HORRIBLE. You have no choice but to pay it as you've already paid so much for the package. Duty fees should NEVER be this higher for a 3 dresses. APOLDE.

Found a great blush trench coat for spring and added a wonderful basic sleeveless black/white herringbone/plaid dress. Both fit well and have added fresh new classics to my work wardrobe.
The dresser were beautiful and well made. Only has issues trying to find the proper size. But was very satisfied. Returns were easy and refunds posted within a timely manner.
I purchased a pair of mules and they were so wide that I probably could have put two feet in one shoe. I am not sure where those things come from but they were cheaply made. So disappointed!

Answer: DO NOT ORDER FROM CANADA! They will charge you an insane amount for duties and taxes! I bought 2 dresses worth about $70 CAD each and I had to pay $68 CAD in duties and taxes! I've ordered from many other American companies and online stores and I've never ever paid this much is duty or taxes!
