I ordered twice from this company, the first dress was of mediocre quality at best, as if someone made during their lunch break, but it came only after a few days. While "processing my second order they showed their true incompetence as a business. I emailed them 3 times to make sure they will honor the extended (4 weeks - who does that?!) shipping window. They kept giving me their answers as if they were coping them from some prompts, but continued promising I will receive the dress within the given window. Only after the end of the window they told me they will not be mailing the dress for another two weeks. I am still waiting. This is simply awful way of doing business. I wound never order from them again.
Ordered a dress, it was promised to be here by 10/7, on 10/6 I spent 2.5 hours waiting for customer support to tell me it was delayed and would not ship until after the event for which it was ordered. Then they say that the refund will take another 13 business days. Website has no clue what they are doing or how to treat customers.
I am in love with my dresses! I've been buying one dress every week now. They look so good on me and they're very well made. Perfect for nights out and unique! People ask me all the time where I get the dresses from because they can't find them in stores. Shipping speed is great. They come really fast. Processing time depends on style, but it's no more than 10 days. I don't mind this because they're made in the US. They need time. Amazingly responsive company as well!
Ordered a dress 10/12 in anticipation of a delay (their site said Nov. 5 would be MAX date of arrival). My daughter has an event Nov. 19. I know it's still only Nov. 15 but I do not think this dress is coming. Customer service is awful. Do not buy from them. I have emailed them three times and tried to do the virtual chat but it never works. Also no updates on arrival or even if I will ever get it. I foresee no dress, no money returned and no reply. Really bad.
I found a beautiful dress from lucy in the sky that I wanted to order for my formal this weekend. I ordered three weeks in advance and my dress still hasn't even shipped yet. I contacted them through their online chat service and they informed me that my dress would not be here for another 2-3 weeks. I was luckily able to cancel my order and am getting my money back within the next week. This website has really beautiful dresses but if you are going to order one, do so within 1-2 months before your event or else you will not receive your dress in time. I was able to find a new one at Windsor but am deeply upset I could not get the dress i truly wanted from this site.

I ordered 2 dresses and neither fit. There was a mix up with my return on my end and therefore was only credited for 1 dress. I decided to use the chat to see if it could be resolved and Elizabeth R. Was extremely helpful! After showing some proof I did return both dresses, 10 minutes later I had my store credit. Thank you!

Customer service is AWFUL. They take days to respond, and often offer no help. One email I received after two weeks of waiting for my dress to ship stated my order had already shipped. It had not. I emailed them back asking for the tracking number. Waited 2-3 days for a one sentence response asking for my order number. If they didn't even know my order, why did the original email tell me my order had shipped? I sent my order number and waited 5 days this time. By then my order had actually shipped, and I didn't need their help anymore. Overall sketchy. I have received my dress and it is nothing special. For the price, if you order enough in advance, I'd say it's worth it. Be aware that your dress will most likely come after the estimated delivery time.
I ordered the Dion Metallic Maxi Dress in gold. It's very pretty, but totally see through, and due to the slits I can't wear a slip underneath. Before purchasing, I reached out to customer service asking if it was see through because I'm a bridesmaid and it needs to be wedding-appropriate. They told me it would be totally fine…. Which was entirely false. Disappointing :(

I thought a month and half would be enough time to get a dress in time! NOPE, ordered 2 dresses - 1 came in a timely manner but unfortunately didn't fit shipped back immediately it's been more than 10 days still no store credit emailed to me. It's been over a month and still the second dress hasn't even shipped! My event has come and gone. I think I just got duped! Lost $133! This company should do the right thing and at least give me my money back for the second dress that never arrived. I just emailed them hoping they do the right thing! Stay tuned. If they do the right thing and give me my money back on something I never received I will let you know,
The clothing is cute but it's like they only cater towards one body type. Also whenever I ask about how long it usually takes them to restock, they always avoid the question and answer something that's not even related. It'd be nice if they focused on restocks instead of just churning out more and more clothes that it seems they never restock..
I love buying my dresses from this website. They have great options and are reasonably priced for the quality. Other places sell these kinds of dresses for $$$$. Be aware of shipping though - it's typically great but can be delayed especially if you need a dress by a deadline.
This company has a great selection of dresses but they are only good if they actually get shipped! They have horrible customer service that takes forever to answer. If you try to comment on their social media they simply delete it and dont even reach out to help you. They come off as an amazing company online be careful
We will not order from this company again. Sent a dress back on August 25,2021. Had to reach out to the company for my refund (store credit) and ordered a new dress (different size) on August 31,2021. Even though we received the first dress within days; the second dress has yet to arrive (September 21) and I had to reach out to find out why. I've been offered to buy a different dress due to the dressing, "being made". Over night shipping has been offered; however, no confirmation email could be sent right now - that'll be done in the morning? I am not holding my breath on this and all for an event that we need it for this Saturday...
We ordered a dress on 9/6. It is 9/23... no dress. I reached out to customer service numerous times and have not had a response. They do not have number to call. You either have to be put in a que in live chat with at least 100 people ahead of you or wait 48 hours for someone to respond to your email. I emailed on 9/16... noone has contacted me.
We ordered according to the size chart but was a bit small so ordered up. The dresses were made of different fabric, but we liked them both. Cute selection and shipping was fast. Can only return for credit within 10 days, so hopefully our exchange gets there before the time limit is up.
I ordered a dress and on the site it said it'd come 6 days later. I never got a follow up tracking ID after 6 days. I contacted them on live chat and they told me my order would arrive in three days and I would receive a tracking ID but still never did. I contacted them again and they said my order will now be delivered in three weeks. This is ridiculous. They also blamed it on "backlog" but their site clearly states delivery times. I also paid for expressing shipping.

I ordered my prom dress from Lucy in the Sky. For the price, the quality was excellent, and true to size. I tried to order a second dress because I loved the first one so much. However, shipping got delayed and I had to cancel the order. They gave me a full refund and even a 15 dollar store credit. I definitely recommend!
My daughter ordered a dress on 9/11; it was supposed to arrive on 10/5. She contacted the customer service email on 10/6 and received no response; tried again on 10/10 with no response. There is no phone number and the chat has been disabled. I understand this is a busy time of year but so many girls are buying homecoming dresses that won't arrive in time. Meanwhile, the brand is posting on social media like everything is peachy and deleting negative comments.

If you want to actually receive your item do not order from here. Unfortunately they charged me right away I had six weeks to receive an order that would only take a few days for a legitimate company. Why they tell you they prepare each order is beyond me they are not hand made to each person it's just a medium. If you don't have the item it should not be for sale. We never received it and it is nearly impossible to reach someone and when I did they said maybe two more weeks. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere you can make a brand new dress faster than they would be willing to ship it.
My daughter ordered four dresses from Lucy in the Sky so that she could try them all and pick one for prom. It turned out, however, that Lucy in the Sky doesn't give refunds -- only store credit -- so now we are stuck with having bought four prom dresses. What a terrible, lousy, ridiculously-out-of-date policy! Don't buy there!
