What a terrible company. I ordered two dresses for my daughter, knowing nothing about this website other than it's supposedly where everyone gets their fancy dresses. The dresses didn't ship so, after waiting for 14 days, I requested a refund. The refund was supposed to be processed within 10 days (why it takes so long is beyond me). Well, it's been 14 days and nothing. I've sent emails and never get a response. Thankfully, I made my purchase through PayPal and have escalated a claim with them. Purchase from this company at your own risk.
I do not even want to give not even one star as the customer service has been horrible! Ordered dress two weeks ago and it has been caught up at Fed ex warehouse and they are not releasing it due to problems there they are having. Fed ex said they would ship it back to sales and not recipient, as it has been past the arrival time it was supposed to be shipped. Said Lucy in Sky would have to file a claim and there was nothing I could do at this time. So now my daughter is without a homecoming dress the week of her homecoming and I'm being told my money cannot be refunded nor can they rush a dress out to me until they get dress back from Fed Ex. I am beyond frustrated and will not recommend anyone to order from there.

-lucy in the sky- I bought the dress as mentioned in the title of my review (Aida Puff Sleeve Chiffon Maxi in Black Dots). The information given on the website says the models are 5"9 and are all wearing smalls. I also looked at the size guide, which recommended a size small for my measurements. My bust is 31 inches(fullest part), waist is 25 inches(narrowest part of waist), hips 36 inches(widest part). Well I bought an XS. It fits perfectly everything is fitted, like a glove, not too loose not too tight. Now my hip measurement also includes my butt. People consider me to be slim thick. This dress comes with an attached short type thing that is more so an underwear type shape. The dress itself isn't stretchy, the shorts part is but this part was too small for me because of my butt. It diggs into my cheeks leaving that indention look instead of seamless. I'm 5"7 and the dress touches the floor about half an inch maybe less.
I have bought a total of 6 dresses from Lucy in the Sky, all have been great quality and their shipping is very quick. If you need a cute, quality dress that isn't going to be super expensive then I highly recommend buying from them!
Buyer beware! No phone number to call when they cancel your order and keep promising a refund, then 15 days goes by and you have to dispute with your bank! Also beware of their return policy. No returns unless their mistake or you get store credit for another crappy item. I would give negative it I could!
I ordered a dress for my daughters homecoming 4 weeks before her actual homecoming. Once it finally shipped it never showed up until weeks after the original dates. I tried getting refund and keep getting the run around, they won't refund and only want to offer in store credit. This shop is being run out of China, NOT Los Angeles. Beware and DO NOT buy from here. They suck and are probably tied to Joe Biden. Go to Target and spend the money!
Beware buying from them. Daughter needed dress for Home Coming. 3 weeks later, still not shipped, but they charged us for the dress. When I contacted to cancel the order and get a refund, they refuse, They say we can't do anything until "the delivery window" passes. When I asked what this is, they wouldn't reply. Also, they said we can only get credit and not a refund. Terrible business with even worse communication. Buyer beware... to many other options. Avoid this place for your own sanity.
Their return policy is truly awful, as well as their shipping. They tell you it will deliver on a specific date but that is never accurate, and generally it takes over a month for items to arrive. They don't do refunds and will give partial credit back, so if you need to try something on it's basically useless unless you want to wait months to get the size you need. Quality isn't even amazing especially for the price. Avoid buying here there are so many places that have better and cheaper dresses with a legit return policy.

I have had to great experience with the company on a few different orders and issues and they have been excellent handling them immediately and with no trouble at all to resolve and make me happy. I would recommend this site because they also have very cute dresses for good prices! My daughter always gets tons of compliments too.

The customer service was very good and quick responses to my emails when I reached out about a package which said delivered by FedEx with a picture but it wasn't my front step! They handled the issue by reshipping me right out new dresses with no cost after we had a few emails back and forth to resolve the issue. This made me extremely happy since it wasn't their fault or mine. It was ultimately FedEx. I appreciated their customer service and will definitely continue to shop with them
My daughter who is normally a size 4 ordered 4 dresses in size small and extra small to try on for a party... she could barely fit the size small over her head it was so tiny... ridiculous... these dresses are not made for normal people! And now we find out we can't return them except for store credit... we will never buy from them again and will tell everyone we know to stay away as well... what an awful experience!

I ordered my dress two weeks ago and still haven't gotten it. There communication sucks and don't even have a phone number. They haven't answered my emails besides one and said "my dress already shipped" which it hasn't considering on the website it says the order status is still "received payment". I'm pissed i have homecoming in 3 weeks and payed $50 for this dress i probably won't even get. Honestly sus i won't get my dress any time soon nor did they give me a tracking number even though it's "shipped". This business is bull$#*!. "1-2 business days of shipping" my $#*!. Seems like they get there $#*! from china and scam people.
My delivery window was 2-3 weeks after my order had been placed. At 3 weeks I emailed them because they never sent me a shipping confirmation, but they said to just wait and see when it will ship. Now it's been a month since I placed my order, customer service is taking a while to reach back after I sent them a second message, my birthday is next week and my dress hasn't shipped :(
Do not purchase from Lucy in the Sky. They have such cute styles, but the clothing quality is so bad. I ordered 4 items and once I received 2 of them and saw how bad the quality was. I was horrified. The dresses were way too short - they barely covered my butt. I ordered a size larger and they still didn't fit.

They scammed me of $83.70. I ordered two dresses on April 4. Both had an estimated delivery of April 15-18. I emailed Lucy in the Sky a total of 5 times and they did nothing about it aside from empty apologies. Today, I have nothing. There was a commencement picture day (May 19) that I had to miss as a result of not having a dress in time. They also promised to refund me and give me store credit three weeks ago (April 27), but I still have not received it (May 20). This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had to endure.
Ordered a graduation dress from Lucy in the sky giving it more than enough time to arrive by my graduation date (ordered more than a month before). I didn't receive any updated information until I reached out to customer services after not receiving my dress within their estimated delivery dates. Which they took forever to reply to as well. The original email stated that I would receive my dress in 1-2 weeks time which would have been last week. Which now they are saying I have to wait another 3 weeks. Almost 2 months after originally ordering. Now I don't have a graduation dress or time to order a new one. Hoping to find something in stores.
Please take my advice and do not order from here. Customer service is so slow and takes forever to get a simple issue resolved. They only email and there is at least 2-3 days in between each email so you are emailing back and forth for a week. Dresses run tiny and no returns. You get a store credit that expires in 6 months which is ridiculous considering its your own money and its expiring.

Cheap material & poorly made! This company is the worst to try and return items. Can't get a hold of anyone on the phone or email. It takes months to get a return also no cash refund only store credit and who wants to buy they're cheesy trashy clothes!

I wear a size 12, and the size 12 they shipped me barely fit over one leg. After I explained the situation, they repeatedly insisted they would only offer me a store credit despite not carrying my actual size. They weren't rude per se, but they were deeply unhelpful. If they don't offer refunds, they should have made this much more clear during purchase. I feel tricked and pissed off. Guess I'll be donating clothes to charity.
I ordered these 4 dresses thinking they'd be nice and I was wrong. Poor quality and can only return for store credit. Such a joke and such a waste of money. Do not order from here unless you want to throw your money down the drain :)

I don't like that there is store credit only because closing fits are hit and mess. Sometimes the quality feels really cheap. Unfortunately, I made a mistake of spending 400$ on my first order from them, just to find out that I don't like the quality and the fit is often off. Now I have to keep exchanging in order spend my store credit. Customer service responds really quick though. I would give clothing a 3-star rating but 5-stars for the customer service because they respond within 5-10 minutes and always available. Therefore, 4 stars for the overall rating
