I purchased the expedited shipping, and it was only 8 days from the date I shipped off my frames to the date I had them back in my hands with new lenses. (They also sent me back my old lenses, which I really appreciated.) My lenses were and still are perfect.
A week or so after my new lenses arrived, I reached out to customer service to ask some general questions about care and to purchase the extended warranty, as well as a few cleaning kits. The Lensabl rep responded quickly and went out of his way to be very helpful.
I highly recommend Lensabl and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Original Review: Contacted customer service through the website messaging service to verify that new lenses could be made for my Oakley frames, received a quick and professional response, great! Selected lenses and option need through the site's easy to use order page for the specific lenses I wanted, added express shipping, submitted and paid, great! (did not receive an invoice through email, didn't think much about it at the time through) Received a prepaid box to ship my glasses in, great! Waited approx. 2 weeks to receive my glasses and when I open the package immediately I notice the lenses are sunglasses, not transitions which I ordered, not great! Not sure how this company can get my order wrong when the product selection process is very specific but it did but I've wasted at least 2 weeks plus the time it takes to get new lenses from this company or someone else. I feel it would have been better to get my lenses from a local optometrist.
Edit: After receiving the first wrong order Lensabl's customer service arranged express shipping to pick of my glasses for a refit. Waiting about 10 days I received my redone lens package via UPS opened the box and it was THE SAME EXACT PRODUCT THAT WAS WRONG IN THE FIRST SHIPMENT! Dealing with c/s for a few days via chat and specifically asking to receive a call (there is no listed phone number you can call to speak to a someone at this company) someone from the company's customer service called me and he discussed the issues with me. I stated I would like a refund and he offered that or to redo my order again. I opted for a refund and received soon after that. I really liked this companies ordering process, but customer service beyond chat and email should be an option when mistakes like this are made (especially for a product like Rx glasses).

I bought really beautiful and expensive SALT frames. Instead of spending another $300+ on lenses, I decided to try Lensabl. I could not be happier with the product and the entire customer experience. The website made it so easy to send in my frames and input my prescription. I also got my completed glasses back very quickly, as promised. I was so pleased when my frames were returned to me in the perfect, new condition in which I sent them to Lensabl. The lenses are also are perfect. They are more crystal clear than what I have gotten from my optometrist's shop. Sometimes, glasses make me queasy, but not these. Lensabl clearly got the measurements right. Normally, even with insurance, I need to spend many hundreds of dollars to get new frames and lenses. I typically wear contacts because owning a large selection of glasses is unaffordable, especially if you need to routinely update your lens prescription. Lensabl was such a bargain. Now I won't feel guilty about splurging on expensive frames. Lensabl is also going to make it affordable for me to give my old frames new life by finally being able to replace my outdated lenses. I will never use my optometrist for my lenses ever again.

I don't even know where to start.
Sent them a brand new pair of Vuarnet frames. I specifically asked them to return the 2 original lenses. They stated no problem.
Asked them to produce for me a progressive lens, brown Polarized, with a mirrored finish.
What I received a month later was a far cry from what was asked for.
Gray progressive lenses, no mirrored finish, a chipped frame, and one original lens missing.
I called and spoke to Andy... who assured me, not only verbally, but through email, via his assistant... that they would make amends by replacing the frame, correcting the lenses, and sending me back the 2 original lenses as requested.
I sent them back to damaged frames... and again proceeded to wait for almost another month.
What did I get back?
The same broken frame, the lenses corrected, and still minus one original lens.
I have a trail of emails that will corroborate all this.
For me, personally... never again.

I knew there had to be a better way to get lenses than going to my doctor. They always try and get me to buy new frames and it costs hundreds of dollars. I did a simple Google search and found Lensabl. The site was very easy to navigate and there offered tons of lens options
I ordered new prescription sun lenses for my Warby Parker frames. The whole process from the day I ordered until I got the really awesome box (with case and spray) back took under 2 weeks (I expected longer frankly). I see some horror stories on other reviews but I don't quite get it. I originally left my PD off but Lensabl sent 2 emails requesting this and I finally sent it in. Doesn't seem to have delayed my order at all. These long wait times it seems like are due to people not providing all the info Lensabl needs to make your lenses.
These lenses are as good, if not better, than what I get from my doctor, and I honestly saved over $200. Legit going to buy more frames now that I know Lensabl exists.
After 57 day, and my having to personally push the process thru repeated contact, my glasses arrived from lensabl. Be prepared to personally shepherd the process should something go off course, they seem to have no other process other than responding to

The website FAQ said 14 day expected shipment. I've waited more than 3 times that and have yet to see the product, or even an update on the order status.
I needed to order new lenses and somehow stumbled upon the Lensabl website.
They appeared to be just what I was looking for. I received a discount and filled out the online form, paid for my lenses and waited for the next step. The next day I started to have some doubts (regrets) about using Lensabl. First, why do you have to wait for a mailing label when they could just email you one so you can mail out your frames right away. I had to wait a week just to receive this fancy box (totally unnecessary) guess who's paying for that? Then you mail it back and sit and wait. I placed my order on 10/7/18 and I had to call
Them on 10/27/18 to see when I would be receiving my glasses (I didn't order anything fancy, just standard one vision lens). Finally two days later they tell me that the glasses are ready and in the mail. On 11/1/18 the glasses arrived, but they messed up the left lens (it looks like a magnifying lens) the glasses I waited for nearly a month are garbage! I emailed Lensabl (no phone number to call customer service) and the next day some rude person
Answered saying how sorry he was and they would replace the lens for a fee of $68.50.
I paid $72.00 for the 2 lens and now they want me to pay $68.50 for fixing 1 lens? What is wrong with this picture! I told him that it was there mistake and they should replace the lens. He became very angry and told me if I didn't want to pay for the new lens that there was nothing else he could do. I knew I was got involved with a company that was scamming people and probably don't even know the first thing about eyeglasses.
I know this is a long review, but based on what I went through, find another honest place to get your eyeglass lens. This place should be shut down and fined for taking people's money.

Unfortunately, you had provided us an incorrect prescription when you submitted your order. When you received the lenses and alerted us of this, we sent confirmation of the information you provided, which was also verified per the order confirmation email. We of course are happy to redo the lens for you using the new prescription info you have provided, but there is cost associated with that (and we simply ask to have that cost covered). We offered you multiple options to resolve this and those offers will continue to stand. We are not looking to make additional money off you, and only want you to have the correct lenses. Sent my Garret Leight frame that I love into Lensabl. The entire process from the day I ordered until I got them back was about 9 total days. They sent me a box with a shipping label and everything was so easy.
The part I was most impressed by was the quality of the lenses, and of course the price. The lenses are much more clear than the lenses I normally get from my optometrist... and I saved over $100!
I am definitely telling all my friends and family about Lensabl and will be sending them more frames soon!

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
