I've been holding on to some frames for 3 years with the wrong prescription that I never got a chance to wear because they gave me a headache. Figured I give this a try to replace the lens at a fraction of the cost of going to the eye doctor (like, a third the cost because my insurance doesn't cover hardware). Just got these today and SUPER happy with the results. I can finally wear these frames again, and I'm so excited. Didn't know what to expect with this my first time using Lensabl, so I'm really glad I gave it a try.
On first attempt at providing me with new prescription lenses in my Persol frames, Lensabl lab made a mistake and did not use the prescription I had uploaded/entered along with my order. After receiving the erroneous order, Lensable quickly ascertained that indeed their lab had not used the prescription, and sent me a shipping label to return the frames.
The correct prescription lenses were fitted, and the frames shipped back to me overnight express. Any company can and will make mistakes... it's how they handle the mistake and how quickly they correct it that separates the so-so companies from the really good ones.
Bravi Lensabl... you have earned my repeat business.
Fast turn-around from sending in to delivery (about three weeks). However, the lens arrived without the requested edge polish. Return procedure unclear -- had to settle for a general-comment email.
Overall, I've had a good first experience with lensabl. My glasses arrived today, making a 15 day ship-to-receive time, which I find acceptable. The prescription feels right on the money. There is one issue, however. My frames are completely rimless Oakleys and if the edges aren't polished, it looks like a mistake. I paid the extra fee to "polish edges," and while the edges aren't rough, they aren't polished to a shine either. As a point of reference, the lenses that came off the frames are highly polished. So, from a quality control standpoint, if you were to hold the old lens beside the new lens (which lensabl would have to do prior to shipping), the difference is glaringly obvious, and someone should have said, "We need to polish those edges some more." I'm not sure if it's a deal breaker for me yet, because I need the glasses at this point.
Lendable is amazing! I've received four orders and have another on the way. Great quality lenses with plenty of options to customize your frames. They are the real deal and I will continue to place orders with Lensabl as long as I have eyes needing to see clearly. Can't recommend them enough!
I ordered lenses through Lensabl. The first pair was incorrect, some mixup on their part with the prescription. I then didn't realize I needed progressive lenses, which my prescription apparently showed but I ordered single vision. I was told by Rudy in customer service that they used to let customers know that their prescription showed a prescription for progressive lenses, but stopped doing that. So I ended up with lenses I can't use to read. They offered a small discount on the regular price to make new ones for me with the progressive prescription, but that would be on top of the money I already spent and the extra time it took since they messed up my first pair. In the end it would have been wiser of me to pay the extra to go back to my local optician to get the right prescription the first time around. I write this so others don't end up in the same situation as me.

Lensabl received my order into production on 2/14/20 and stated it will take 5 to 7 business days to ship. As of 3/1/20, they are still in production. This business is understaffed lacking a customer service number for

My wife recently purchased a pair of non-prescription frames from a designer store. When she mentioned to the saleslady that it might be difficult to get prescription lenses installed, the saleslady suggested we check out the Lensabl website. We researched the company and read all the reviews we could find. We decided to send Lensabl her new pair of designer frames and my old pair of Carrera sunglasses. The entire process, from start to finish, went flawlessly. We placed our order on Feb. 12th and received our completed glasses on the 28th. And that's with a slight delay on our part when my wife decided, after the fact, to add Blue Light protection to her order. A special THANK YOU goes out to Megan from the Customer Service Dept. Megan was very patient with us, answering every question we had and was there for us when we needed to add the blue light coating to my wife's lenses. To say that my wife is very happy with the service and her new glasses would be an understatement!
I was a little skeptical ordering prescription lenses on line. However, I took the chance and it worked out perfectly! They were easy to order & my lenses came out 100% accurate. I had a question about my prescription and they were quick to help with wonderful customer service. The quality is even better than my local neighborhood eye glass store, not to mention I saved money ordering from Lensabl. I will definitely be ordering my prescription lenses at Lensabl from now on!

I love what I got! The price is good and the lens are correct look great. My biggest problem was it took almost a month and about 4 emails as the don't have a phone number listed on site to call. I still would buy from there again just now knowing they are slow. To clarify about the timeline it took almost a week for them to get my glasses started after receiving them. While in the lab that whole process was fast or so it said, then my order sat in a waiting to ship for a week before I started emailing. I think this could be a great company if they fix the time or just be up front from the start. Your order will take 4 weeks to ship. Just makes no sense of having a tracking process of what stage your order is in if it takes way too long.
Richard - so glad you love your new lenses, but very sorry for the delay it took with your order. Normal process and production time would be 4-7 business days once your frames arrive at our lab. If any Rx info is left out, it does delay the production process until we receive all the info from you. I saw an add while doing some online shopping after Thanksgiving... the prices seemed to good to true so I placed everything in my cart but didn't checkout. A few hours later I received an email from Andy asking why I didn't place my order. To which I responded with why I was so apprehensive. He assured me they were on he up and up and that I would be pleased.
Mind you I have to pair of the same frame one black and one in tortuous that I love and have had for years. I let him know how important they are to me as they are no longer in production and they are simply the frames that suit me the best. So with some concern I risked it and sent them off. Luckily all of the holiday discounts made the cost of the next day shipping fairly reasonable. They arrived at their lab on Dec. 2nd and I got (both pair) back on the 17th of December. Not bad... the lenses are a great quality very clear and lightweight. I will definitely be back!

Trash product. You'll be sorry you "saved money" with these guys. The coating on my lenses has failed twice and the customer service is useless. GARBAGE. I want my money back.
I Sent a pair of coach glasses and coach sunglasses to lensable for lens replacement. They exceeded my expectations. Shipping was fast, the sunglass lenses matched the original gradient and my prescription was spot on on both pair. The lab did forget to send my case back but when I emailed customer service they replied back almost immediately and they found my case the next day. Although it was my fault for sending my case, the fact that they took time to find it was exceptional! Most companies nowadays would not have done this. Their prices are also more than reasonable. I got a pair of lenses with everything I needed on them for $97 dollars; my optometrist was going to charge me over $300. I will be using lensable for my and families eyeglass names from now on. Let me begin by saying I do a ton of online buying. I was a little unsure about Lensabl but I said "what the heck" give it a try and I can't tell you how elated I am! I sent my favorite Maui Jim curve lens frames to lens a bell and they put in perfect clear lenses. Optically they are impeccable, visually they're also impeccable and those are tough frames to fit! Hi Vincent my Steve McQueen purse all glasses to have prescription sun lenses put in them again a homerun love them and have a been able to wear them for years but now I wear them daily! Finally I sent a pair of Persol sunglasses out to have their sunglass lenses replaced with clear prescription lenses. Another homerun! I must say their customer service, attention to detail, ordering, and delivery process as well as a genuine quality product exceeded my expectations. If you have any questions please let me know. I received my order back, bifocals, and the distance vision was perfect; however, I couldn't read with them. Contacted customer service and they promptly sent me a return authorization label. Just got the order back and they are perfect.

After receiving the first order which weren't right, I contacted Rudy at Lensabl and they were quickly corrected with free 1 day shipping provided each way. My suggestion is to always provide the measurements that your optician will provide for distance between your eyes. I don't think the option to use a photo you provide is very accurate. Very happy with their service and my new lenses work great.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
