Could not deliver simple replacement lenses for sunglass frames I've had for years. Very simple job for which they provided no reason as to why. It cost me $25 just to be told they could not provide replacement lenses for my frames. This is one of their core businesses that they couldn't deliver on a simple order. The customer service is horrendous. Good luck in doing business with this company. Very risky!
The process of sending my frames was simple because they provided me a box and shipping label. When the work was done it was done well and within a very reasonable timeframe.
The lenses have worked out well with multiple pairs of glasses. My only complaint is that it takes too long to get the shipping box and too long to get the lenses back. They should provide more rapid shipping with the cost of the lenses at the same price rather than USPS
The initial lens were done incorrectly (Blue tint with gold when the original lens were brown with gold mirror). I had to send back for correction. However, the new lens didn't match the quality of the original lens. I wish I had sent the glasses back to the original Optometrist.
Turnaround took too long and communication was terrible. Delay after delay… Really disappointed but I am giving this one more shot. Let's see if turnaround is as advertised.

I needed lens replacement for my sunglasses, and wanted transition drivers. I got the replacements done, everything looks good, but the lenses are not "transitions" - they do not get lighter or darker at all...
I ordered some prescription sunglasses earlier this year. It seemed like it took a long time to get the lenses made, but once they were finished they shipped fast and were crystal clear! I was super bummed when I lost them…
My order was not filled and i was not informed of it until I contacted them. I was also forced to purchase the more expensive product because it was on the prescription when there was a less expensive option.

I had a great experience with my order, however, I wish I had a faster shipping to and shipping from option. Additionally, I think you all should have REAL/ACTUAL picture examples of the various shade lenses as well as the gradient options so that one can have a real life example of how it will look like. My frames were cracked in the process of replacing the lenses. I'm surprised that QC didn't catch it before shipping them to me. While you ultimately replaced the frames, I had to try and insert the lenses myself-- without success.
I replaced the lenses on some vintage Persol glasses that I liked and also replaced the lenses in my sunglasses so that they would have prescription. Both came back great and it was much cheaper than buying new frames. However there seem to be something weird with the shipping as the boxes Lensabl was to send me so that I could ship my glasses, literally took weeks to get to me.
Lensabl aren't the cheapest option on the market currently, but after several sets of replacement lenses for my frames over the years, I've never had to have a set remade due to issues manufacturing or measurements. Quality like that is worth paying for - when I've used other, cheaper, suppliers I've inevitably had to have lenses remade. I'll also note that their anti-scratch protection *seems* to be superior to others as well - it's rare that their lenses get scratched, and I'm not a gentle wearer of glasses.
From designer rimless frames with the wrong size/shape lens Lensable made me correct size and shape lens with progressive prescription in upgrade Trivex material and with upgrade Crizal coating -- to be the best glasses I've had in 63 years. Lensable gives a quality of service I find rare in any business.
Ordered distance lenses for driving using frames I owned. Great value so I could get one pair of glasses for each car I drive. Well worth the expense to have glasses on hand at all times for safety.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
