Ordered these on 12-01-25, mailed my frames out on 12-09-25, DID NOT receive my order until JANUARY 6th 2026. I usually have a very good experience with lensabl. This time I was disappointed to get my order with one of the lenses not installed. I had to work it into place and now it pops in & out constantly. Not sure what to do at this point. It's my only pair of glasses right now and I can't mail them away or I won't be able to see.
Lensabl used to be reasonably priced and great service. However, this last set of orders have taken almost 30 days turnaround and the system provides no tracking info. The company has really gone downhill. Its disappointing. I've used them for years. I'm going to look for a competitor that is interested in customer service.
My adult very tech savvy children thought they were ordering prescription sunglasses as a gift for their father. When they arrived, they were not sunglasses. Because the photo on the item has singles lenses, they did not know they needed to call our sunglass material on the order. He already has prescription regular glasses so he doesn't need these, and customer service basically said we had to order and pay for tinted lenses which adds greatly to the expense. So, not happy, has pair of expensive glasses he doesn't need and no sunglasses. I'd be a happy customer if you would just fix this by replacing the lenses.
I think the lenses are very high-quality and they did a great job putting them into the frames that I supplied. I can see very well with my new prescription and my experience with lensable was pleasant and great! Will be using them again.
They are the company that supplied the lenses to my favorite sunglasses and they were absolutely perfect and super easy to work with.
I have a big head so I always struggle trying to find frames my size so, When every other company told me no it couldn't be done, you were the only once that accepted my order and processed it with no hesitation... thank you
I've ordered 6 pairs of replacement lenses thru Lensabl and the service is very good. Reasonably fast turnaround and fair prices when you can find a discount, which is usually. I had one pair come back that made my eyes strain but I thought it was the new Rx. Not sure now that it wasn't a manufacturing error since a subsequent pair using another vendor and the same Rx came out fine.
For lens replacement, after sending your frames in you don't hear anything for several weeks, if at all. This has been my experience on 2 orders now.

My previous experiences have been well and wanted to give a higher rating, but the amount of the price increase is ridiculous and has given other companies a foot in, making it very challenging to utilize Lensabl on a limited budget!

Last time the item was shipped to wrong address, which I was able to track with the tracking number. Despite numerous attempts to resolve I was told there was no way to replace order or get a refund.

Been almost a month since placing order and evry week I request a status, there is another issue, first lens were made awaiting frames, frames arrived takes about 5 to 6 business days, lastly issues with lenses during inspection needs to take 3 to4 business days, 7 business days later no shipping information and no communication from vendor. This is one of the worse experiences I've had and will not order or recommend this lens manufacturer
So many eyeglasses vendors sell flimsy frames – even WarbyParker's felt fragile. Until I needed prescription lenses, I'd been using ICU readers that had metal hinges. But I couldn't find such great frames anywhere else. So I was beyond delighted to discover that Lensabl would put new lenses into my reliable reader frames – and the shipping was even free. Lensabl makes it easy, and even has free shipping. Very exacting service too.
I sent my favorite frames that I purchased online (hard to find) and purchased the lenses from Lensable. They sent me a postage paid box, I placed my frames in the box and shipped it to them. They manufactured the lenses to my specifications, installed the lenses in my frames and shipped them back to me. The lense were excellent they are high quality and fit the frames exactly. I'm quite pleased and recommend their service.
This is my fourth purchase, though the first three have just been replacement lenses. I'm sure this one will be as good! Thank you!

My first experience with Lensabl was GREAT. Their staff were very easy to work with, and understood what I needed and wanted, and supplied me with awesome lens in my old time frames.

I can't believe that your company was able to put the new lens in my older frames. I bet your team was asking each other, where did these frames ever come from.? Years ago, there was a company called AO (American Optical) that made REAL safety glasses. Unfortunately for many of us, they sold out, and the new company did not continue the frame.
I would now like to have a pair of every day glasses from your company, put new Rx lens, into a current frame that I would supply.
Can you now start a new order form for me?

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
