I purchased frames online but was unsure if I could get prescription lenses. This website helped me to connected my new frames with a much needed updated prescription.
Just wanted to let everyone know if you have a frame you love or bought a frame online get it filled with lensable. My goto in the past was Lenscrafters and the make money big time just on the lenses, mine for example run around 480$ but if you buy a frame you suddenly can save 50%... you see the irony!
Anyhow I ordered a frame from France and it was super fancy and by that I mean expensive and I was hesitant to send them away to get them filled so I emailed a couple of times with customer service and the walked me through the process of setting everything up without ever being annoyed.
Today my glasses came back and they are perfect (and 75% cheaper than Lenscrafters). I am sure this will not be the last time I am using this service it is exactly what the world needed a reliable company which does not try to punish people who have to wear glasses and can't spent a fortune on them but would like to have more than one frame to switch it up
I am happy to say that this service works just as intended! 2 stars for customer service and keeping me updated, one star for successful completion of my shades, -1 stars for the amount of time it took to receive them (I understand that they do multiple quality checks and my shades were particularly difficult so +1 star for that!)
Took way too long to recieve my sunglasses for a distance lense only. I answered their questionaire on what I was ordering and they contineuly sent me e mails for eye measurement as if I was ordering progressive lenses. Finally I told them to forget about filling my order and send my glasses back and amazingly I received my glasses.
Ordered on June 23 and didn't receive them back until October 1. It's a progressive perscription and the reading part of the lens doesn't match my eyes. Basically I can see things at distance but can't read anything. I'm so disappointed.
Easy solution, easy process, great quality. Very please and will remember this service for the future

I had expensive frames that I needed prescription lenses for and sent them in to lensabl. Not only do they have fast turnaround but their customer service is amazing. They are always available by chat and I'm even doing prescription sunglasses with them with custom tints! The price can't be beat as well but the service makes them the place to go to.
Sent in my new frames and progressive prescription and you guys nailed it. They are actually better than the ones I got in person at my doctors office. Reasonable turnaround. Great Job!
Lensabl sent back lenses that were off. In order to correct the problem, they had me do all the work. I went back to my optometrist and was re-examined. The results weren't enough. They wanted me to go back for more information even though they had the correct prescription in hand. Customer service was rude and really had no interest in correcting their mistake.
I was so excited to see the Lensable package with my glasses and new lenses come in the mail today. The packaging was beautiful and provided a enjoyable unboxing experience. However, upon taking my glasses out of the bubble wrap I noticed one on the lenses was loose and partially disconnected from the frame. I gently popped it back into the frame but time will tell if it will stay. If the glasses were perfect then so would the score.
Love my lenses! Got the Cristal coating which repels fingerprints and water. It's excellent. I was under the wrong impression that you could clean lenses with a tiny bit of Dawn soap and water. Evidently this degraded the coating started to get a blurry spot on my glasses. Since it was within the warranty. They replace the lenses no problem! Thanks for the great service!
The glasses were delayed quite a bit, receiving them almost a month and a half after placing the order. Upon arrival of the order, several screws in the glasses were loose, requiring a trip to the optometrist for further adjustments. I would have hoped after such a long time in production there would have been better attention to detail.
I sent in a pair of unique sunglasses I got in Paris a few years ago to convert them to my prescription. I'm VERY happy with the results. These were also some very delicate frames and they came back with no issues at all. I've used Lensabl in the past and was always happy, but I'm over the moon about my now updated pair of unique sunglasses. I'll be using this service again for sure! My only suggestion to people is to know your PD (pupillary distance). You likely won't find this on your prescription. Lensabl has a good guide to figure this out on your own, but I was smart enough to ask my optometrist what my PD is at my last visit.
Once again a great job! Lens are perfect, good quality and prescription is accurate. The shipping is quick and notifications along the way. I am a customer for life!
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
