I ordered an iPad and it came locked to someone else's account so I couldn't even use it. Anyway I basically sent it back and it's been two months now since I initially paid for it, still waiting on my refund.
I told they they had delivered to the wrong address and they they send my next order to the exact same wrong address.
I tried to fix it on their website which did not work, it came up with an error message and when I contacted them directly through their customer service they told me to change the address online which I did which still didn't work and I then got a message saying they had sent it to the wrong address again.
These guys are incompetent and they will not help you.
Do not buy from them!
I purchased a phone from Kogan and immediately it began overheating while charging. I asked Kogan to provide a replacement phone and they refused. They insisted that I send it to them for testing. After I did that they returned it and said that it was not getting too hot and that it was normal to heat up. I contacted the manufacturer who said that the phone should only slightly heat up. Kogan refused to swap for a new phone. I will never again buy anything from Kogan
I ordered a bed frame, it came in 3 seperate boxes, i only recieved 2 boxes out of the 3, after many enquiries I got an email from them assuring me it's still on its way and then 2 months after ordering the product 6 weeks after receiving the first 2 boxes, I get an email saying that the delivering company have misplaced it but there going to send another one, then get another email saying they are not getting anymore stock in, so they said once I dismantle what parts if put up already and wrap it up and organise delivery back to them, they will give me a refund but if it's damaged on the way that they will deduct that from my refund!
Absolutely horrible company, no number to call them but you can request them call you!
Kogan first is last, The supposed free trial wasn't actually even checked it was just an automatic oversight on my iPhone purchasing phone data. There was no notification at debit point was benefits for the late delivery and extra cost for postage no that wasn't in fact I paid extra postage and they never rang me they didn't respond to shabby merchandise they didn't do anything in fact it's just a scam this new so Called Kogan Membership
I had money taken out of my credit card for a yearly subscription without my permission. I signed up for a year in 2021 but didnt continue as original card that I used in 2021 had expired. Only recently I received an email stating if I wanted to renew my membership, I had to enter the new details, which I didn't. But recently I made a purchase and the card that I used, those details have been used to charge 99.00 yearly membership without my permission. This is credit card theft. Tried contacting the company by email but only received generic responses.
Having recently bought an item from Kogan, I found that it fairly quickly developed a fault. I want to return the item to Kogan and get a refund. The trouble is that, following the process recommended by Kogan itself, it is impossible to arrange this. They seem to go out of their way to make themselves uncontactable. This is not a good look, and certainly makes one doubt the bona fides of the firm.
I ordered a $20.00 free postage. I got it and was happy with the service. Then a week or so later i get billed$49.95 for a membership i dont think i joined or maybe there was a sneeky box i ticket by accident. I am not happy you cant call themjust via email has this happened to anyone else.
I bought 2 pairs of shoes. I received an update that i was unable to receive 1 pair and i received a refund. After 14 x contacting the complaints team i am still yet to receive a refund for the 2nd pair and have not received a response from the complaints team in more than a month. This is disgusting customer service and i will NEVER recommend or buy anything from this crappy company ever AGAIN. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from here as they like to take your money but not refund it when they have not delivered anything
I have spent at least $3k with Kogan in the last 4 months. The focus and truth around delivery times need serious attention. Using covid19 and Australia Post as an excuse for really poor delivery times is not acceptable. I continue to wait more two weeks for a purchase that was in stock in Sydney. I am in Melbourne. I would not use them again. And can't recommend honest advertising. If i spend over $1k on a product I expect better support no matter what the environment...
Its very difficult to return any of the product, they gave there reasons and standard forit. I never use Kogan again, only to discover it had already signed me up to Kogan First for $59 and auto-debited my bank account and on top of that they deducted $79 not $59. They will claim the forced-upon and unwanted 14-day trial period had expired. No warning of autodebit and autorenewal prior to enactment or option to cancel. Its like a trick to make you fool.
Tip for consumers:
Be wary of a $59 Kogan First membership tacked onto price unless you intend to do a lot of shopping with Kogan over the next 12 months.
Very poor customer service. Bought a new fridge which had scratches on it when it arrived. They wouldnt replace or provide discount although they didn't provide a suitable product. Customer service was terrible. Would not recommend products or company.
Bought a phone for Christmas no sight of it, it status has not changed for 9 days cannot get through via phone and email does not get any reply. DO NOT use kogan this company is shapeing as a scam. Cannot cancel order, Scrooge of Christmas should be their name.
I purchased a bestway 8man tent, when it arrived the tent was not packaged the tent bag had small
Holes and was covered in grease and to make this worse it was the wrong tent they had sent me a 5 man tent. When I complained I was told by the supplier which is One Shop that the tent was right and that the bag doesn't interfere with the tent, such poor customer service when I escalated this they then said that it was a listing issue that the tent was advertised wrong. It has taken me over a month to try and get the tent I paid for but they would not send me the right tent. It has been the worst experience ever and the team at Cogan management do very little to try and help out. Never again please do not use Kogan there are other better sites that offer you quick refunds and actually help you get the best customer service..
They automatically subscribe you to up to the emails a day every time you buy something. They give no option to opt out. The unsubscribe links dont work. Are now also spamming with text messages and surprise surprise that opt out doesn't work either.
Kogan is the retail equivalent of a that guy at the bar that just won't take no for an answer and leaves you feeling dirty and creeped out.
Tried to buy Samsung mobile Phone. Entered Master Card Name and address.
Then was asked to verify supposedly with my bank my customer number
I do not have in my head. Now I will buy my new Samsung Galaxy from JB

We purchased an exercise bike which had an original pick date of the 14th, which became a despatch date of the 21st. On the 23rd they sent us an email to say there was no stock and they would try and fill the order in 2 months. Kogan is not trust worthy.
My son used my credit card purchased a pool from Kogan around 9:00 pm, he said he stopped in the middle and I didn't receive any email notification neither.
I checked my account and found Monday deducted. I couldn't cancel it because I couldn't find any order records from my Kogan account.
I had to email the customer care in next day 8:00am, hoped that they don't proceed the order if there is record. But no response.
In the next few days I kept contacting them, someone replied me once asked for my details.
One week later I received the pool, the supplier called me and told me Kogan didn't notify them the cancellation until 5 days later I emailed them. Now they won't refund the money.
I still kept emailing Kogan, but no more reply.
That's what happened to me.

Have never seen a worst customer service. Bought a pair of shoes which was abit small and wanted to return. However still having problems more than a week now. Being a Kogan First member, I was promised priority and concierge service. Nowhere close. I wouldn't recommend Kogan. I have unsubscribed since and NEVER to buy from them ever again.

Answer: Stay away from Kogan - I think you have by default signed up for some crap Kogan First Club - if you didn't unsubscibe within 14 days, they then hit you with a membership fee
