I ordered from this company recently and am extremely satisfied! My order was processed very quickly - I ordered the evening of Dec. 12, it was shipped the 13th and delivered on the 15th. A bonus was that one of the items was out of stock and they asked my permission to substitute the same (higher priced) item from a different supplier for the same cost. Thank you so much!
I recommend this company and it's an added bonus that it is a CANADIAN company with competitive prices and low shipping costs!
Although I was skeptical after reading the reviews here, I was pleased in the end. A week after ordering, my order had not yet been shipped. I sent a message through Contact Us and heard nothing back. I left a phone message... no return phone call. I finally sent an e-mail to *******@kitchenniche.ca to the attention of Roman Koller. I got a response saying that the item was back ordered for one week and the item had now arrived. He said that this was noted on the website, but I did not see this. The item was shipped within a day and it arrived by Xpresspost in a couple of days. So in the end, the product arrived, well-packed and I received exactly what I ordered.
I have now placed 3 orders with this company and never had any issues. 2 of my orders were shipped out the same day I placed the order and the 3rd order I placed on a Friday, was shipped the following Monday. Their selection and prices are great and I will keep using them for my kitchen needs!
Ordered a top to a cake pan on the 1st of Aug. Paid extra for shipping. Never received the product. Called and e-mailed them. NO RESPONSE. Took my money from pay pal though.

I've ordered from kitchenniche.ca multiple times, over 10 years. I've never had an issue, I've recieved everything I've paid for and any questions have been answered promptly.
I like several items on their website, and I've purchased multiple items as gifts that have always been well recieved.
I'm a conscientious consumer, I price match and use coupons, cashback and rewards. They offer none of these options and I STILL return here.
They gave a better price on multiple purchases of the Victorinox Fibrox chef's knives that America's Test Kitchen recommended. I like the Flax Seed Grinder as it has a Crushgrind mechanism, I give them as gifts at Christmas with a lovely spice blend.
I find them affordable and knowledgeable. They might not be lightning fast, but they're not a 5 day response. They offer free shipping... in Canada, that's a gift.
I highly recommend them, I like to buy local, but they beat Ontario pricing most of the time.
Can't say enough good things. Hope that 10 years from now I'm still getting the quality that I've come to expect.

Ordered a specific item in early May, and after a month, it did not arrive. Requested to cancel order and refund purchase. Was assured the item would be shipped by end of June. By July 12, it still hadn't arrived. Have sent many emails and received no replies. Have called Customer Service tollfree number, and only get a voicemail - left many messages and till no reply. Don't risk your money with these scammers.
All around terrible experience. Ordered a tagine Dec 10, no response for over a week, then said shipped, only to receive email 2 days later saying item was damaged and never shipped. I have now had to open dispute with PayPal because seller will not communicate at all. Do not order from this site. My wife didn't get her Christmas present and this has been such a bad experience. Here is the dispute complaint sent to PayPal-I ordered this item December 10th. After waiting over a week and a few unanswered emails, I finally received a note it was shipping out, only to get another email 2 days later stating item was damaged and they would not get new ones until mid January. I at first said I would wait, but after not receiving any communication I have sent 2 emails asking for a full refund. No response has been received. I left many voicemails also. I want a full refund immediately.
Charged me for items they didn't have in stock. Promised to send when back in stock. Have contacted customer service to give me back my money since they never sent the items. Got no response. Contacted the owner and still no response. Someone needs to press charges since last I checked thievery is a crime. They should go to jail.
On April 28th. I submitted and paid for my order. Here it is May 17th. And no answer to my email query as to when they shipped (if they did)? Fortunately I paid by paypal. I expect they will get an answer.
This guy never doesn't have the full inventory of the items that he takes the order for. Usually other vendor would outright say that the item is out of stock but this guy will falsely claim that he has the inventory and take charge you for it and then just send some or a single part of the order. Then you have to keep on chasing him for the information on the order and the items that are still pending. And this person is least bothered to give a response on the status as he already has your money with him so you are stuck, so my recommendation to you guys is apply for a chargeback with your bank if you need you see your $ back. If you read the reviews on this site and other review boards it's the same.
This guys should be out of business for following such a practice. STAY AWAY!
I ordered a set of cookie cutters on July 25th. Receipt said I would receive my order within 12 business days. I has been more than a month. I have left voicemails and sent emails to the company regarding the whereabouts of my order. I have received no response!
On June 11,2018, I placed an order for 3 small round butter dishes, and my credit card was charged that same day. Today is October 16th - 4 months later - and I STILL have not received these items. I've left multiple voice mails (no one EVER answers) and sent several emails to Sandra and Roman and received apologies and excuses..., but not the items I ordered. DO NOT order from this company!

I ordered two French press replacement glass containers over a month ago which never arrived. Several e-mails went unanswered and no one picked up the phone during regular business hours. I now see on Google Streetview that the company's address is a suburban house. Wish I had read these reviews before buying!
UPDATE -- The day I posted this review (and contacted my credit card company, which immediately refunded me the money) I received an apologetic e-mail from the business with some weak excuse. So guess they it's not a total scam, just a badly run business.
I was impressed by the personalized service that I received and the competitive pricing for the product, not to mention the speedy delivery. I looked the same product up on Amazon and they wanted $11.99 per unit and was able to get it through KitchenNiche for $6.99 per unit. I was able to order 20 units in the same colour and even got free shipping! I'm also always thrilled to be able to actually talk to a human being and have them take care of all the details of customizing my order. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KitchenNiche to my co-workers and friends.
I ordered from kitchenNiche not knowing the company at all, I was pleased with products that were on their website. I wanted to give them a chance and I was not disappointed. My order arrived in good time with the post office being so busy and in good shape. I was Happily Pleased to find everything that I ordered inside the package and I thought that maybe the items would be below standard, another very good surprise the products are just wonderful and exactly as shown on the site. I will certainly order again. Just to mention the pricing was very good as well, just another good surprise. Tea pot with infuser is just what it stated, the cup cake mixer is exactly as stated and the egg poachers are just the cutest. I ordered tea and it is what I ordered not a replacement. No reputable company should accept an online order for a product they won't have in stock for six weeks, and to add insult to injury, CHARGE you for the item 6 weeks before they are able to ship it. My simple pasta roller order turned into a multi-month saga of misleading information, ignored emails and phone calls and wasted time.
Unlike Amazon or any other reputable company, Kitchen Niche will accept orders and bill you for things it doesn't have. The fact that the item is backordered is hidden in the body of the item description, so read the fine print carefully. After they take your money, they will send you an email confirmation, stating that they are "processing and packing" your order - kind of misleading when they didn't have the item in stock for 6 more weeks. Then came the fun of trying to follow up on the order - allow 3 days minimum for them to respond to an email, if at all. Ditto with phone calls. Just a nightmare from beginning to end. I finally got my wife's birthday gift 5 weeks after her birthday. It was a lesson for me to read reviews about a company before you purchase from them.
Okay, I placed an order on this site before discovering sitejabber. My experience has been less than top shelf, but the results have not been a disaster. There appears to be only one person who provides help with orders and customer service. I believe this person is overwhelmed by inadequate experience and very poor inventory control. It took over a week just to get an acknowledgment of my order. No timing was provided on shipping. I had just discovered Sitejabber where I checked out kitchenniche and got nervous. I emailed their customer service address and very politely asked for timing on this order. One week later, I got an answer saying it was processed and would ship as soon as it became available. Another email came one week after that and said the shipment would arrive in 7-10 days. I wrote back and thanked her for the update. 10 days took me up to last Friday with nothing yet, so I waited until Monday with intentions of another email query. Most of my order arrived that same morning with a note apologizing for 1 out of the 5 items ordered being out of stock and that it would ship as soon as it came in.
So, this is not a scam site and they are not entirely bad. The pricing and products I received were fine. You just need to be very patient and understand that this is the process.
Can you do better elsewhere? Absolutely!
