Hello, I've never ordered from Kingsize until now, during Covid. Trying times, right?! Yes indeed! I placed my first order a couple of weeks ago. I didn't receive an order confirmation via email, it happens. Two weeks go by, still no notification re processing or shipment. I decided to read reviews, the majority of the reviews were extremely negative pertaining to shipping, exchanging, refunds and customer service. I decided it was time to call customer service to inquire about my order. I pressed # 1 information about my order, the recording stated the order was on back order. I hung up and decided to call back to speak to a representative to cancel my order considering it was on back order this would be an easy fix. I spoke with a friendly customer service rep, she looked into my order and stated it was in process for shipping. A conflict right, I have received any email notifications, my first call stated it was on back order, and not to mention all the negative reviews... what do I trust. I asked the CS rep if I could speak to her supervisor, Ami took my call and listened... I mean really listened. Ami confirmed that once the order is processed I could not cancel my order, I could return the item once I received but I said at a cost to me. Ami went a step further and said she understood my frustration, to rectify the problem she would be able to waive the 9.99 exchange mailing charges.
Ami's demeanor, listening and problem solving skills and expertise are a 5 star!
And this also says a lot about Kingsize as a company. We all should try to have more patience, open minded communication and listen to each other. Thank you

I placed an order mid-September only to discover the size I ordered did not fit. No big deal, every brand is cut a little different. I returned the item, and asked for the same inseam, but a different waist.
Prepaid return postage is a joke because you drop it at the post office, and it then isnt picked up by there "return agent" for almost a week. Then several days for the package to get back to them. All said and done it was TWO WEEKS for them to get the item for exchange. I finally get an email saying the replacement items have been shipped. I look up the order on their website, only to discover THEY DIDNT BOTHER TO HEM THE PANTS!
I call and bring to their attention and this is the response:
"Would you like to place an order for the correct inseam? You can then return the unhemmed pants when you get them. Please be aware there will be a restocking fee for the unhemmed pants because it is a return not an exchange". Let's get this straight... you want me to give you MORE money to send a third pair of pants, because you didn't process the exchange correctly? And you expect to change me extra to return something you screwed up?
I waited for the unhemmed pants and returned them immediately, to try yet again to get the right size. I placed my original order on September 18th... almost SEVEN WEEKS AGO! Again nearly two week wait for the company to get the returned item.
The best part? While I am trying to deal with King Size-d incompetence, the company has the gall to spam me twice a day with emails trying to get me to place more orders. GTFO.

FRAUD SCAM DO NOT ORDER

AFTER SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR "WHERES MY ORDER" THEY SEND ME A BOGAS TIME LINE THAT IT WAS DELIVERED ON THE 3rd. THEN SORRY DELAYED TO ARRIVE THE 13th. THE BS TIME LINE SHOWS THE PACKEGE EVEVEYWHERE IVEN MY CITY THEN TO ANOTHER STATE,, ALL BS

Honestly I had high hopes for this company and was looking forward to my husband getting a robe for Christmas. But, the shipping process for this company is horrible. You could try and blame it on COVID but there's so much more.
I ordered the robe on 11/27 and waited. After about four days, I noticed I never receive anything about shipping. I checked the website first and it said Estimated day Dec 16 but not shipped and a tracking number for USPS. Checking USPS it did not recognize the number. I waited a couple days checked again and the website said now Dec 22 but not shipped and again USPS did not recognize the number.
I decided to call and was told it was with Fed Ex and it would be here by the 18th. When it didn't arrive and I checked the website which now read I had no order history. I was lucky I wrote down my original order number. I decided to call again and they told me they had no way to track it and no tracking number, I was told their delivery partner provided no information and now I had to wait til Dec 25 to request a refund. This was because it may still magically appear here although there is no way to track it.
So, with what I spent I cannot get another gift for my husband or find something Comparable. Now I'm stuck hoping and waiting that he gets his gift.
I ordered in Nov and now 22 days into this I may have nothing. I have ordered other stuff after this from other companies and will get it before. So, simply based on this experience I don't trust them with my business.
Different dates, tracking numbers that don't work, and they don't have good business with whatever delivery service vendor they use. This is not good business. To hear just request a refund if it doesn't appear is a horrible feeling. If I knew this is where I would end up I would never have ordered from them in the first place. I wanted the robe, that's why I ordered it.

Zero Stars for shady company-- King Size

Ordered a pair of 6XL swim trunks from King Size for Father's Day for my husband. My husband works hard & deserves a fashionable pair of swim trunks to splash around in on swim excursions. Shipping is super expensive (because King Size sends you 2 unwanted catalogs at your expense!) even though it's within the U.S. Every email I received after my order confirmation email had incorrect Item # information (even though item ordered was 'in stock'). Tracking is non existent until item shows up at your home. What I received was a pair of WOMEN'S JERSEY SHORTS in 2XL from other Full Beauty co-brand Woman Within. Could not be more incorrect. Beyond frustrated, I called King Size customer service to rectify. No, they won't send correct item immediately at their expense expedited (unless you wanna pay for it again!) until returned item is received. Have no idea what they sent, even though I offered to send picture proof. And yes, you WILL BE CHARGED for the return of THEIR MISTAKE, it gets deducted from your refund total. No, no, no. I spoke to 3 different 'supervisors' until I was assured (hopefully) that a notation was made on my account that I would not be charged for return. Customer service leaves A LOT to be desired (after your 15 minute wait on hold). Never acknowledged their mistake, never offered solutions, basically could care less since they already have my $$ ($60), I have no swim trunks and now I have to fight to get my $$ back. Cancelled my order. Returning the unwanted merchandise. Filed a fraud claim with my bank and with BBB. We shall see if I ever get my total monies spent back. Never again. Other Big & Tall companies might be a little expensive, but they won't rip you off with their WRONG and cheaply made merchandise. The label they printed to stick on the bagged item (no packing slip either btw...) even plainly SAYS the wrong size. Seriously? What would a customer do if you ordered a bunch of stuff and it was all wrong? You would have wasted time & money for nothing.

I ordered 4 shirts for my dads bday my mom did say they take a long time for ship so a week later i see a refund for only part of my order so i look they cancelled my whole order and keep the $22 ship! So i call whats goin on? They tell me they messed up i said so fix it! They say well just give the $80 back and we will send it out i said and now my dads gift will be a month late by the x it comes in. Why did i have to call to get my full refund! Then i ask for the guys name for my records he says Jazz! I was like thats so fake how will they know who i really talked to! I NEVER had this issue ay big and tall store and thats where im going back! BIG AND TALL STORE IF YOU WANT GGOD SERVICE! I will never use this again it is a scam! They cancel your order and keep the shipping! ITOLD them no way in hell.I said you messed up how about some discount or maybe a freebe for the screw up as my dads gift will be very late now NOTHING! They screwed up and nothing to fix it! I was like at least own up to your mess NOPE ORDER *******0558 BIG AND TALL STORE PEOPLE YOU DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS!

"This website is a scam. They knowingly misguide customers into buying items that do not fit them at all and are several, and I mean SEVERAL sizes too big, but when you ask them to take responsibility for it, they say you must not trust the sizing chart nor the representatives' guidance and must use I don't know what tools to choose your size. Maybe clairvoyance, maybe dark magic. Maybe while you're at it curse them to burn down so they don't steal from other people? I ordered a wool navy jacket from outside the US. In a country like mine it's impossible to buy plus size clothes for men that aren't designed for octogenarians, and so I was hopeful that I had found an alternative, that I was finally gonna be able to buy something that didn't come out of a thrift store and actually fit me. I took my measurements several times. I followed the sizing chart. I confirmed with a representative that my measurements fit a 4XL size because, and I told him, I had doubts since I have always been a 2XL but the sizing chart suggested differently. They told me the 4XL would definitely be the right fit. They reconfirmed it. Surprise! It arrives and is not the 58 inches promised but 68. Imagine how beautiful 5 extra inches look on each side. It's the curtain look you've always dreamed of! The sleeves are about half an arm longer than they should be. I could wrap an extra half of myself in the waist. I mean, a mountain troll would wear that jacket and it would still drown him. Now, since I'm an international buyer they do not allow exchanges and for a refund I would have to pay 60 dollars for shipping, plus an 8 dollar refund fee to get back about 50 bucks. This is stealing. This is taking advantage of big guys and their limited clothing opportunities to make a profit out of refund fees. Someone in the US please bring this nasty corporation down. I can't sue them from here, but someone has to. I spent all my Christmas money on this and now have a circus tent I need to sell. Maybe I should fill it up with the clowns at SizeKingDirect. Maybe I should just swallow a sword and hope for the worst. I'll decide later."

AWFUL!

So I "bought" a robe on Nov 19th for Davids xmas/bday present, got it on sale@ a great price, oversized thick plush cushy robe. About 1-2 days before my expected delivery date I get an email advising me my item is back ordered till end of December *sigh* ok fine. Halfway through December I get another email it's now back ordered till the end of January *annoyed* after Xmas I emailed customer service to inquire further details & see if the robe is available now in a different color. I was told no *sigh OK fine* January 2nd I call customer service and ask again about my order/different color. I'm told "good news it's on stock & shipping out in a few dsys" YAY?... NOPE! I get an email yesterday stating my order was cancelled cause they couldn't charge my credit card (for the record there's plenty of credit available on said card). This morning I call customer service again & she keeps repeating herself it's b/c we couldn't charge the card, I keep explaining the card has availability & verify they have the correct cc numbers. I then say "ok let's try something easier. Is the robe back in stock in the size/color I ordered?"... Cs " yes, but it's full price"... Me " oh no it's not, get your supervisor"... Hold music for 8 minutes... Cs " actually the robe isn't available"... me " Huh, so your website which shows it IS available in the size/color I want@ a sale price although not as good of a price as when I order it, your website is lying?"... cs" umm"... me" or the Cs agent I spoke to on January 2nd lied?"... cs" Umm"... Me" or is it you who just told me that it was available, but@ full price who is lying? Which is it?"... cs"umm."... me" never mind! This is the worst customer service & your company will never get my business again! & I will encourage everyone I know not to shop with you & I'll post my customer service review on all possible outlets" *hangs up* NEVER BUY FROM KINGSIZEDIRECT!

I have placed orders online through your company EVERY YEAR for the past 5 years, with no issues.

This year, my elderly mother tried to place an order by phone, as she is not computer savvy. She had the item number and all of the information she needed... but the customer service representative could not speak English clearly enough for my mother to understand what was being said. She finally said she would have to call them back.

Days later, I called to place the order for her, thinking perhaps it was my mother's hearing aid that had caused issues the time previous...

However, not only did I have to ask the representative to repeat herself SEVERAL times, but she did not UNDERSTAND English well enough... and had to have ME repeat much of what I said and inquired!

I would have gotten through it without TOO much upset... had it not been for the 4 times she went off on an unintelligible, uninterruptable tangent in a pushy effort to sell me yet another item, twice... and then a membership trial twice.

Each time I politely rejected the offer, she would say, "I understand. However, I do need to let you know that this offer... (blah... blah... BLAH)"... as the sales deeply-accented, SUPER-RAPID speech RESUMED!

The FOURTH time, which had been 30 minutes AFTER the call BEGAN (just to order 2 measly items!), brought me SUCH frustration that I desperately TRIED to interrupt her and get on with the credit card information. However, even raising my voice, eventually to a YELL... would NOT STOP HER!

I have NEVER had such a ridiculous experience with the customer service of ANY company.

I feel that I SHOULD share my experience on Facebook in hopes of saving others from such a time-stealing, EXHAUSTING experience by attempting to place an order via telephone.

I hope your company rethinks their obvious-foriegn-outsourcing for customer service. Hire US CITIZENS... cease frustrating callers with representatives that CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD... help our economy... and for HEAVEN'S SAKE! STOP WITH THE PUSHY SALES ADD-ONS!

Not Customer oriented

I ordered a gift at the beginning of December for my boyfriend (a jacket and a dress shirt), and the website said it was in stock with 7-12 business days to get here. Cool, I had 3 weeks before Christmas! I got my confirmation order saying it was in stock also. One package arrived on the 14th, but the other one was not with it. So I checked my email to see if I had any communication from KingSize. Nope, none. So I track the order. It is on backorder. There was ZERO communication or notification that the item had been backordered after both the website AND confirmation email told me it was in stock. So I emailed KingSize, 2 days later I get a response saying they don't know when it will be in stock again. No alternative solutions, nothing. So I called. The woman on the phone said "Its supposed to be in next week so we can ship it then". Uhh no. As stated multiple times, I needed it by Christmas. So I asked to cancel the order and get something else. I checked to make sure it was in stock. Now in order to get it by Christmas, it was $26 in shipping! And the item was only $28! So I would literally have to pay 100% shipping costs. I asked if there was a discount they could give or something since they did not communicate that anything was backordered until I wrote in asking, and I need it by Christmas, otherwise I never would have ordered it and would have gone through literally ANYONE else. The woman said she cant discount without me providing her a "free shipping code". If I had that, I wouldn't be asking for a discount due to inconvenience. I will say, Their clothes are nice, and my boyfriend wants to start wearing dressy clothes, but this was my first experience, and they have permanently lost a customer. I will pay the extra to shop at DXL or something. And considering I easily spend $3,000 - $4,000 a year on clothes just for myself and my kids (yeah, I know its excessive… I have a problem clearly), it's a decent amount of additional revenue that they will be losing. And word of mouth is the fastest way to spread poor service. Ive told everyone how crap it was, and we are all big people. KINGSIZE IS A LET DOWN!

Buyer Beware
April 3, 2021

I ordered a pair of jeans last fall and had to send them back ($10 shipping) as they were too big. I requested a different waist size and instead received another pair of jeans in the same waist size but now in an unhemmed length (I had requested a specific length). I sent them back ($10 shipping) with the invoice, and several weeks later, I received the exact same pair of jeans with my original invoice in the package. No other correspondence was included. I assumed, incorrectly, that someone in the returns department had made a mistake by re-mailing the same jeans back to me. I once again sent them back ($10 shipping), this time with not only the invoice but also with a letter explaining the sequence of events and asking them to refund my credit card. Several weeks later, I AGAIN received the SAME package in the mail, same jeans, original invoice, plus my letter. No other correspondence. I called the company, explained the situation and was told that because I was outside the 60-day return window when I sent the jeans back the first time, they would not refund my credit card. I asked to speak to a manager, who told me the same thing. I asked him why the jeans were sent back to me twice with no explanation or correspondence and was told that packages are automatically returned to the sender if they are outside of the 60 day return window. I asked to speak with HIS manager, and was told I would get a call back as "no one in upper management is available right now." I never received a call back, but received an email saying that exchanges and refunds were only an option within the 60 day return window. My question is: if I was outside the 60 day return window, then why did KingSize send me the unhemmed jeans as an exchange? I was not outside the 60 day window, contrary to what the company claims. So I now have a pair of jeans, originally around $50, but with all the return shipping, it's an $80 pair of jeans that can't be worn as the waist size was never corrected (the original reason for return). KingSizeDirect has non-existent customer service. If you order something and it's perfect, great. However, if you need to return or exchange an item, BUYER BEWARE. KingSize will not deviate from their party line, even when the mistake is theirs. I wish I had read all of the reviews on them before I bought. Apparently, they have an extremely poor rating with their customer service. That says all you need to know. Does anybody out there need a pair of jeans in a 58" waist?

What a rip-off!

We ordered six shirts in two orders. They were too big. So, we returned the shirts and requested to exchange three of them for a smaller size. After speaking to FOUR representatives, we found out that they cannot do any exchanges through PayPal. The first THREE representatives tried to put the exchange (available) amount on gift cards so that we could do an exchange. Their system voided it out. The good news? We managed to get ONE shirt from them. It cost us [1st order: $85.68 ($137.40 - $40.28 refund) + second order: $96.73 equals) $133.13!
